Abstract The local livestock knowledge system is seen as the contributor to agricultural and rural development but not all local knowledge has the opportunities to be explored, customized, and applied to follow developmental dynamics. This research aimed to analyze the local livestock knowledge system of Peranakan Etawa (PE) goats from its elements, roles, management, and knowledge dissemination. This study was conducted in Kaligesing Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency, Central Java using qualitative methods. The data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Participants were determined purposively which consisted of smallholder farmers. The data validity was checked using triangulation of data sources and methods. Data analysis included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation, and data collection. The results indicated that the PE goat farming local knowledge system elements existed by the integration of traditional and scientific knowledge systems that were distributed and applied by the farmers’ community as a source of livestock knowledge. Management and dissemination of local knowledge use the combination of traditional and modern patterns.

The Phenomenon of Bia Music in Batu village community needs to be closely examined considering that the Bia Music in the past to the present time is shifting and changing, due to lack of awareness, people's behavior towards Mia Music. The music of this tradition is very apprehensive to see the reality of the players from year to year diminishing in quantity and quality. The purpose of this research is to analyze: (1) Function of Bia Music, (2) Social reality that happened in society. This research uses qualitative method with data collection technique of interview, observation and document study. The technique of data validity is based on the credibility criteria, using triangulation of data. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the Functions of Bia Music, among others, as a medium of ritual, communication media, into evangelism media, events of cultural festivals, education, association, entertainment and publicity. There are three moments of dialectics in the social realities of externalization, objectivity, and internalization.

The purpose of this study was to determine the sport values in traditional games as playing activities for children. The natural activity of children is playing. The games that children play include team games and individual games. This research is a qualitative research employing a phenomenological approach method. The technique of selecting informants in this study used the Snowball Sampling technique. The subjects of this research were children, parents, and community leaders in Banjarnegara Regency understanding and knowing information about traditional games. Data collection techniques of this study consisted of observation, interview, and document analysis techniques. The data validity test used triangulation technique. Data analysis involved 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results identified the sport valuescontained in traditional games, including cooperation, sportsmanship, honesty, struggling power, how to achieve victory, accept a defeat, self-esteem, trust, and self-confidence. Besides having positive impacts for health, traditional games can also train children to socialize with the surrounding community, know how to tolerate, help each other, and work together. Traditional games that can be found in Banjarnegara included mandahan, ular naga, marbles, engklekan, congklak, jumping rope, cublak-cublak suweng, stilts, jamuran, bentengan, and gobak sodor.

ABSTRAKLatar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah perilaku sosial anak saat bermain balok masih suka berebutan,belum mau berbagi, pilih-pilih teman, mengejek hasil karya teman, berteriak saat berbicara dengan temannya.Pola perilaku sosial anak dapat dilihat dalam semua kegiatan, salah satunya kegiatan bermain balok yang dilakukan oleh anak-anak.Maka dari itu, dalam penelitian ini peneliti ingin menggali dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan perilaku sosial saat anak bermain balok.Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kemampuan perilaku sosial yang terdapat dalam kegiatan bermain balok dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan perilaku sosial dengan temannya saat bermain balok.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, penelitian kualitatif adalah metode penelitian yang berlandaskan pada filsafat postpositivisme, digunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi obyek yang alamiah.Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara.Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi.Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, seleksi data, menyajikan data dan penarikan kesimpualan.Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perbedaan perilaku sosial pada masing-masing anak dalam melakukan kegiatan bermain balok baik dalam perilaku meniru, persaingan, kerja sama, simpati, empati, dukungan sosial, membagi, dan perilaku akrab.Saran yang peneliti berikan sebaiknya orang tua mengajarkan anak untuk berperilaku baik, menjadi model buat anak untuk berperilaku baik, serta menjelaskan tentang perilaku baik dan perilaku buruk.Bagi guru mengajarkan pada anak berperilaku baik saat pembelajaran maupun diluar pembelajaran.Bagi sekolah menyediakan fasilitas yang mendukung untuk bermain balok.Kata kunci: Perilaku sosial, balok  ABSTRACTEncouraging background of this research is the social behavior of children while playing the beam is still fond of scrambling, not willing to share, picky friends, mocking the work of friends, screaming when talking with friends.Child's social behavior patterns can be seen in all activities, one of which is playing block activities performed by children. Therefore, in this study researchers want to explore and describe the ability of social behavior when children play blocks.The focus in this study is the analysis of social behavior capabilities contained in the playing of blocks with the aim of describing social behavior with friends while playing the beam.This research uses qualitative research, qualitative research is a research method based on postpositivism philosophy, used to examine the condition of natural objects. Methods of data collection using observation, documentation and interviews. The data validity technique uses triangulation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data selection, presenting data and draw a conclusion.The results of the study showed that there were differences in social behavior in each of the children in performing good beam activities in imitative behavior, competition, cooperation, sympathy, empathy, social support, sharing, and familiar behavior.Suggestions that researchers give parents should teach children to behave well, be a model for children to behave well, and explain about good behavior and bad behavior. For the teacher to teach the children well behaved during learning and beyond learning.For schools providing supportive facilities for playing the beams.Keyword:Social behavior, Beam

Critical thinking is an essential aspect of the 21st century. There was an outbreak of pandemic covid-19; some educators had difficulty stimulating critical thinking in early childhood. But for some teachers used spice ingredients at home to promote the critical thinking of children. Therefore, this research aimed to provide critical thinking learning solutions during the covid 19 pandemics. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to describe the use of spices in stimulating essential thinking. The data collection technique using interviews, observations and documentation by involving children aged 5-6 years (n= 15). Data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing were analyzed by testing data validity using triangulation techniques.  This study showed that using spice media in making turmeric herbs acid, making batik from natural dyes, and making dolls through a scientific approach can stimulate critical thinking ability in children in the study from home. So, can be concluded that using spice media stimulate critical thinking ability in children in the study from home.

Cooperatives are a form of social entrepreneurship. In addition to financial capital and human capital, social capital is an important factor for the sustainability of an organization. This case study aims to analyze the bonding social capital's role in cooperative development based on volunteers in KHJL, South Konawe, Indonesia. A qualitative approach was used in this study with the case study as a strategy for this research. The method of data collection is done by observing, interviewing, and studying documents. Interviews use semi-structured and in-depth. By using purposive sampling, there were eight persons to be interviewed. For the data validity and reliability to be optimal, the authors use triangulation in terms of primary and secondary data collection. Data analysis is done together, from the reduction to the presentation of the data, then there are conclusions and verification to create conclusions. It was found that the role of social capital especially trust plays an important role as bonding between members. For stakeholders, their role is continuously anticipated for the progress and development of cooperatives. Although currently, the cooperative's financial situation is not good, where timber customers have fallen dramatically and social innovation has not well worked yet. Trust in social capital is the main bonding for volunteers at KHJL, that's why KHJL is still surviving until now.

This paper identifies the challenges encountered by the Science teachers in implementing Science Curriculum 2012 at Grade 8 and search the effective way forwards to minimize the challenges. The mixed method research design was employed. The population of this study was the Grade 8 Science teachers in Bangladesh. A set of survey questionnaire and interview schedule each was used for data collection. Data collection tools were reviewed by science curriculum experts and pre-tested by Grade 8 science teachers. Descriptive statistics was used for survey data interpretation. To interpret the findings, both qualitative and quantitative data were triangulated. The challenges identified by the Grade 8 Science teachers were unfriendly textbook, inadequate physical and instructional facilities, lack of teachers' professional skills, irregular in-service trainings, inefficient instructional monitoring and mentoring system. The way forwards were introducing regular professional development initiatives, upgrading instructional facilities, improving the physical environment, updating Grade 8 Science textbook and establishing a continuous instructional monitoring and mentoring system.

Educational institutions must be supported jointly by all parties, both families, schools, and communities. This third component must work together in harmony so that it can produce quality educational outcomes. Untul, the school is expected to improve relations with the family or guardians of students, and the community, in general, to work together in realizing the management of school relationships with good community management. This study aims to describe how to manage school relations with the community, also to find out what is in SDN Manggarai 05, South Jakarta. This type of research is qualitative research, while the form is field research, by taking location at SDN Manggarai 05 South Jakarta. Data collection methods used are, observation, interview and documentation. Whereas the process of data analysis used Miles and Huberman model analysis, namely interactive model analysis with steps: data collection, data reduction, data display, data verification and data interpretation. The results of this study are in accordance with the Public Relations indicators show; first, related to educational relationships formed by the formation of schools. However, meetings or meetings are conducted at the time of report cards, so it is not yet at an intensive stage. This results in the absence of effective planning, implementation and evaluation. Second, the cooperative relationship between SDN Manggarai 05 and institutions such as Puskesmas, Kelurahan, Kecamatan, Polsek, BNN and Universities has been established. However, it has not been fully done. Third, what is the challenges in public relations management are known by two factors, namely internal factors, and external factors. The first is internal factors, which are known to have no special personnel given regarding the relationship between SDN Manggarai 05 and the community. While the external factor is known as the guardian, the students give up the children's education process at school.

This study used a qualitative descriptive study with a phenomenological approach. This study describes events or phenomena with data in the form of words. Methods of data collection using observation and documentation. The data validity technique uses source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses data collection, data selection, conclusion drawing, and validation. The results showed that 13 traditional games in the 4th Grade Elementary School Student Book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture were gobak sodor, forts, engklek, kasti, marbles, tug of war, woodpeckers and insects, fish, frogs and lizards, hunters and the Javan rhinoceros. , build punden terraces, gangsing, enggrang, and sepak takraw containing values of honest character, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, respecting achievement, friendly/communicative, peace loving, social care, and responsibility.</em></p><p> </p>

This paper wants to explain how Nanaku, as local knowledge of the coastal community in Taniwel sub-district, western Seram Regency had an important role in the marine activities. The purpose of the study was to explain the local knowledge of the community related to the skills and accuracy in marking natural phenomena related to marine activities. This study used descriptive qualitative methods, which included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that Nanaku was passed down from generation to generation. Through this local knowledge, they can hold the process of making boats and fishing in the sea properly. This local knowledge was used as a natural marker and fishing guideline. Nanaku consisting of twelve fishing skills; nanaku moon, nanaku karti star, nanaku beluku star, nanaku scaly clouds, nanaku high and low tide, nanaku whirl wind, nanaku ocean currents, nanaku when river water overflows/ floods , nanaku seagulls lock, nanaku owl (boel), nanaku lunar eclipse, and nanaku lightning in Northeast at night. The conclusion showed that Nanaku still survives today and was not lost in the midst of technological developments. Nanaku became a basic knowledge for a fishing profession which contributed to the economic life of the coastal fishing communities of Taniwel Seram.
