In recent years, China’s social economy as a whole has shown a positive development trend. The growth of urban population has promoted the development of real estate industry to a certain extent. In order to meet the needs of social construction and improve the competitiveness of construction enterprises, people put forward higher requirements for civil engineering construction, in order to further improve the quality and level of civil engineering construction. In civil engineering construction, the construction of concrete structure is a very important part, it is directly related to the overall quality of civil engineering projects and future service life. Therefore, the construction personnel must master the technical points of concrete structure construction, effectively control all kinds of risk factors, to ensure the comprehensive quality of construction.

In recent years, with the continuous acceleration of the country's economic construction, the demand for civil engineering construction is also deepening, and the accidents in construction are also rising. In order to reduce the occurrence of accidents, smart wall insulation materials were born. In order to achieve the best results of smart wall insulation materials, we have investigated many smart wall materials, such as waste and old, through literature research and data investigation, control products, coagulation, steel, etc. and by establishing relevant experimental models, investigating experiments to obtain experimental data, and researching the role of different materials in health monitoring. The results of the study found that, among the several materials tested, the smart wall insulation material made of the experimental waste prevention products performed the best in the health inspection, which was about 12% higher than other materials, and the waste textiles were resistant to damage. The ability is the strongest, about 10% higher than other materials, which shows that the research and development of intelligent wall insulation materials based on waste textiles can play a key role in civil engineering health monitoring.

AbstractRecent advances in biomedicine largely rely on the development in nanoengineering. As the access to unique properties in biomaterials is not readily available from traditional techniques, the nanoengineering becomes an effective approach for research and development, by which the performance as well as the functionalities of biomaterials has been greatly improved and enriched. This review focuses on the main materials used in biomedicine, including metallic materials, polymers, and nanocomposites, as well as the major applications of nanoengineering in developing biomedical treatments and techniques. Research that provides an in-depth understanding of material properties and efficient enhancement of material performance using molecular dynamics simulations from the nanoengineering perspective are discussed. The advanced techniques which facilitate nanoengineering in biomedical applications are also presented to inspire further improvement in the future. Furthermore, the potential challenges of nanoengineering in biomedicine are evaluated by summarizing concerned issues and possible solutions.

This paper uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process to optimize the PESTEL analysis. The scenario: pre-construction and assembly factors of huge civil engineering construction projects. Several managers use too many criteria to evaluate large projects. It suggests that there may be few important criteria that summarize the manager's preference. To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed hypothesis, the authors prepared a qualitative and exploratory study. Conclusions are based on the judgment of an expert interviewed. As expected, the hypothesis was considered plausible. Two main criteria corresponded to 71% of the expert's preference. The result resembles a Pareto distribution.

Nanotechnology can be used for design and construction processes in many areas since nanotechnology generated products have many unique characteristics. These characteristics can significantly fix current construction problems, and may change the requirement and organization of the construction process. This paper reviews the basic concept of nanotechnology, different types of nanomaterial and their manufacturing process as well as the applications of nanotechnology in different fields such as concrete, pavement engineering, construction materials. Use of nanotechnology is found to offer high performing and efficient materials. Specific application areas include water and waste water treatment, construction materials etc. The use of nanotechnology in civil engineering is still in infancy stage. The production methods, pollutions caused to human health, manufacturing difficulties, performance are the issues to be addressed in order to use the nanotechnology in civil engineering.
