The transition period of modern society can be observed in various aspects, particularly in the value-normative one. The study of the Genesis of the formation of personality’s value-based orientations in the current conditions of reforming educational sector in Ukraine and its integration into the European Higher Education Area are becoming prioritized. The research methodology is complex, combining theoretical and empirical methods. Theoretical study of the problem of values in philosophical-historical and psychological-pedagogical discourses creates a methodological basis for expanding the subject field of interdisciplinary branches of scientific knowledge: pedagogical axiology and philosophy of music education. The interdisciplinary context of the conceptual range of these disciplines makes it possible to modernize the value-based orientation in the content of art education. The problem of spiritual and value-based formation of the personality by means of music is actualized, which creates the prerequisites for the formation of a phenomenon of holistic professional worldview of future music teachers. The analysis of structural components of the outlined phenomenon shows that the normative and regulatory basis of professional worldview is a system of value-based orientations of the individual.

Today, worldview, spiritual and moral problems that have always been reflected in education and upbringing come to the fore in society. In this situation, there is a demand for philosophical categories. One of the priority goals of education in modern conditions is the formation of a reasonable, reflexive person who is able to analyze their actions and the actions of other people. Modern science is characterized by an understanding of the absolute value and significance of childhood in the development of the individual, which implies the need for its multilateral study. In the conditions of democratization of all spheres of life, the child ceases to be a passive object of education and training, and becomes an active carrier of their own meanings of being and the subject of world creation. One of the realities of childhood is philosophizing, so it is extremely timely to address the identification of its place and role in the world of childhood. Children's philosophizing is extremely poorly studied, although the need for its analysis is becoming more obvious. Children's philosophizing is one of the forms of philosophical reflection, which has its own qualitative specificity, on the one hand, and commonality with all other forms of philosophizing, on the other. The social relevance of the proposed research lies in the fact that children's philosophizing can be considered as an intellectual indicator of a child's socialization, since the process of reflection involves the adoption and development of culture. Modern society, in contrast to the traditional one, is ready to "accept" a philosophizing child, which means that it is necessary to determine the main characteristics and conditions of children's philosophizing.

There are various studies concerning the present situation of the phenomenon of educational music, which dates back to the early years of the Republic i.e. which emerged 90 years ago, the problems in the area, and solutions to these problems as well as the concept of “educational music” which is used to define the songs that are part of music education. The objective of the present study is to evaluate the area of educational music based on composers’ opinions, in other words, on the opinions of the creators of the subject music, and to determine the present situation of the area in the light of these evaluations. For these purposes, 7 composers, all of whom had contributed to educational music, were interviewed. The resultant data were analyzed under three themes by means of content analysis. The themes were the concept of educational music, educational music compositions and educational music composing. As a result, composers indicated that songs composed as educational music pieces should have a content that children can relate to. They also said that music teachers and prospective music teachers who had the ability to compose should engage in the composition of educational music. According to composers, in order for songs to be of good musical quality; easy and catchy melodies and lyrics, prosody, melodic sequence, harmonic structure and form components were important. Composers also expressed their opinions regarding “the points to be considered and the method to be followed in the process of composition”, “essential skills and knowledge in addition to the ability to compose”, and “types of music preferred in compositions”. In addition to this research, further studies, which take opinions of music teachers, who are the appliers of educational music, and those of students, who are the receivers and consumers of educational music, into account, can be undertaken so as to be able to evaluate the area of educational music from different perspectives.

There is a wide measure of agreement among contemporary observers that something is seriously wrong in modern industrial society. As to the exact nature of the disorder there are differences of opinion: some denounce above all a vulgarization of culture which they see as stemming from the supremacy of mass taste; others view modern men as victims of the illnesses of overorganization, with all spontaneity and uniqueness increasingly compressed within the patterns of public and private bureaucracies; still others believe that the crucial failure of present civilization in the West is that beneath the various forms of mass and organizational “togetherness,” the individual lies stranded, as it were, on the shores of nothingness, deprived of true contact with his fellowmen, with the physical world, or even with himself. Thus there is little agreement as to how the dehumanization of contemporary man is best to be described. That such dehumanization is a fact, however, is the subject of profound and widespread consensus.

The article is devoted to the current interdisciplinary problem of determining the characteristics of a language personality (the term of Yu. N. Karaulov) according to various parameters of her speech, which is located at the junction of psycholinguistics and psychology. The proposed N.A. Fomina and the scientific concept developed by her together with the pupils for a comprehensive study of personality manifestations in speech activity, which presupposes a systemic consideration of personality traits and a multilevel, multicomponent analysis of the text as a product of individual speech activity. This approach allows you to disclose speech activity in basic features, relationships and relationships, as well as provide a more complete and in-depth description of the individuality of the subject of this activity. The article briefly presents the author's method of polycomponent analysis of the text-statement, giving the opportunity to consider not only its own linguistic (language, speech, meaningful and semantic) characteristics, but also the reflection in it of psychological (motivational, cognitive, dynamic, emotional, regulatory) properties of authors of statements. Integral variables are named – activity, focus and self-regulation, penetrating all the structural components of the personality and revealing its integral essence through the basic properties. The possibilities of speech diagnostics of the holistic essence of the personality, which is reflected in its initiative, sociability, and perseverance, characterizing the activity, direction, and regulation of this activity are shown. Some results of an empirical study of the manifestations of the individual-typological features of these personality traits in her speech are described. Parameters by which it is possible to identify representatives of internally – subject, internally-ergic, productive and semantic, selective and aergic types of organization of initiative, sociability, and perseverance, differing from each other primarily by the ratio of different motives and needs, by means of self-regulation and external dynamic manifestations are indicated.

The relevance of the study is conditioned by the necessity for formation of theoretical and practical knowledge and technologies that allow to analyze the conditions for overcoming discriminatory affirmations in modern society. The purpose of the research presented in the article is to analyze systematically the conditions for overcoming discriminatory affirmations in modern society. Hypothesis of the study suggests the assumption that in order to identify the conditions for overcoming discriminatory affirmations, a comprehensive study of the conditions of formation is necessary, followed by a search for ways of their transformation. We established that the conditions for formation of discriminatory affirmations include cultural and historical foundations, social environment, mass media, state policy, etc. The following conditions are emphasized: termination of conflict interaction, search for common or similar points of contact of opponents, decrease in the intensity of negative emotions, provision of effective discussion of the problem and choice of an optimal conflict resolution strategy based on the formed discriminatory affirmations. Narrowing the subject field of the study of triggering events, and as a consequence – overcoming discriminatory affirmations through behavior of a person in a conflict situation, will allow us to distinguish two groups: internal and external formation conditions and implementation of discriminatory attitudes. Internal conditions include prejudices, or stereotypes of a cognitive or emotional level, and external ones are real actions in interaction with an outgroup to implement prejudices already formed. A hierarchical system of conditions for overcoming discriminatory affirmations has been formulated, including four main components, where the first link is the formation of sociocultural identity, as an understanding and value of belonging to one’s own group; fixation of socio-cultural competence as a system of knowledge and ideas about the “Others”; formation of sociocultural values in relation to “others”; formation of sociocultural tolerance, which includes identity, competence and sociocultural values.

Specialized vocabulary is one of the most important and dynamically developing subsystems of a national language. Due to the continuous development within society, most of the subject fields are characterized by considerable variability and terminological inconsistency. One of the possibilities to contribute to more effective and clearer communication is the collection of terms in the form of specialized glossaries and dictionaries. The elaboration of the dictionary is not an easy task. It requires a precise and detailed plan of individual activities and the cooperation of experts and specialists in the field of linguistics and a subject field in question. The aim of the study is to describe the individual phases of the elaboration of a multilingual specialized dictionary of hippology and to present in more detail the pitfalls of its creation.

Music like any other art helps the individual explore the world, develops the individual’s emotional sphere, building fundamentals for systematisation and classification of phenomena, algorithms of creative thinking on the basis of the perception and analysis of music artistic characters, thus defining development of students’ memory, fantasy and imagination, stimulating them to search for unusual solutions of problems. The development of these abilities is indispensable in any sphere of human activity and – what is the most important – gives a possibility for individual’s self-realisation. Therefore the main task of music education is development of the complete personality, based on the needs and demands of the modern society. Solution of this task requires reviewing of the music educational process, modernisation of the ways of realisation of the educational content, ensuring creation of new teaching forms, methods, means and technologies.

The purpose of the study presented in the article is a theoretical analysis of socio-political and civic activity of young people in the context of processes of individualization and massification as contradictory but interdependent trends in the development of modern society. The relevance of the study is supported by the need for scientific understanding of conditions under which the formation of social and political subjectivity of young people and their choice of these types of activity take place. We presented data of the theoretical analysis of the “social activity” concept with a particular focus on its psychological structure, namely on the cognitive, emotional, motivational, reflexive, volitional and behavioral (activity) components. We substantively described determinants of the socio-political and civic activity of young people, to which we attributed internal psychological (consciousness and self-awareness of the individual, interests and motivation) and external socio-political factors (internal and external political, socio-cultural, informational and communicative context of life). It is shown that the study of modern young people’s activity presupposes inclusion of the subject field of the parameters of personal and social responsibility and the conscious choice of an individual between passionarity and desubjectivity into the scientific analysis. The applied aspect of the problem under study can be used as a tool for development of socially active young people who are focused on constructive interaction with the state, business, and society as a whole.

There are many problems in psychological reality that make it impossible for any empirical study to be due to the lack of adequate psychodiagnostic tools. The purpose of this article is to select psychodiagnostic tools that would provide an adequate picture of the characteristics of the experiences of young people their transition period. The existential philosophy became the theoretical basis for revealing the profound and essential content of the normative crisis of adolescence since it was in the works of philosophers in this direction that an attempt was made to reveal the inner world of man in his specific identity. Adaptation of the existential paradigm to psychological practice was made by humanistic psychology, which put forward the principle of focusing on the individual subject and study the holistic personality of an average person as the central methodological postulate. Authors used ideographic or phenomenological methods during the research. Hence, the requirements for choosing an adequate methodical admission of our study were: 1) the possibility of receiving in-depth information about the inner experience of the investigated since this is the level of self-knowledge at which the subject reveals his existence; 2) the ability of the chosen methodology to reveal the individual characteristics of each respondent's maturity; 3) the need to analyze how exactly adulthood influenced the realization of primary existential integration (as a new feature of adolescence) and the subsequent life of the subject; it is about realizing the principle of unity of the entire life path of the respondent, revealing the integrity and continuity of the events of his inner world. Among the existing methodical techniques that can directly lead to the phenomenon under study, we can distinguish the method of conversation, which became for us the fundamental and specified in the exact method of an in-depth interview. The article further provides a methodological justification for receiving in-depth interviews to explore adolescent existential experiences.
