This study aims to determine whether the application of e-learning in problem-based learning can improve the problem solving abilities of FMIPA Unimed students. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative research by actively involving through e-learning the actors in the learning process, namely lecturers and students, as well as other related subjects. This study's design consists of three stages: (1) the development of learning tools and research instruments, (2) the testing of learning tools and research instruments, and (3) the implementation of experiments. Electronic Learning (e-learning) is an inventive approach to offer education using electronic means of learning contents. e-learning is an online education or distance education, which means that it can deliver education to everyone around the world online through the electronic means such as the internet from different distant countries. The success of E-learning process in universities needs some factors that should be fit with the revolution of technology and enhance the learner’s knowledge. In order to adapt to the rapid growth of technology, Universities in Iraq needs to collaborate with other international universities and industries to develop e-learning tools and methods. In addition to that, Iraqi universities have to adopt collaboration culture with other universities and industries and adhocracy culture to follow the innovation in e-learning process. This paper suggests a framework that could contribute to enhancing and success e-learning in Baghdad. The IS success model of DeLone and McLean and the open innovation model will be essential in our developed e-learning framework. The developed framework relies on adopting a collaborative and innovative culture among universities to promote the e-learning process in universities in Baghdad and Iraq.

Electronic Learning (e-learning) is the process of using the electronic educational shapes of information and courses contents in an inventive way. E-learning is the process of education that offered can be divided into online or distance education, which means that it can deliver education to everyone around the world online through the electronic means such as the internet from different distant countries. In order to promote the e-learning process universities in developing countries such as Iraq, the enhancement of the e-learning success needs to some factors that should be fit with the revolution of technology and enhance the learner’s knowledge. Universities in developing countries such as Iraq, in order to be fit with the rapid growth of technology, it needs to collaborate with other national and international universities to develop e-learning tools and methods. In order to contribute to the success of the e-learning process in universities in Iraq, these universities have to adopt collaboration culture with other universities and innovative culture to follow the global innovation in e-learning process around the world. This paper developed an integrated framework of e-learning through an organizational innovative collaboration environment, analysed it qualitatively through the interviews with students, staff and e-learning centres and found strong relationships between its elements which could participate to improve and add values to the e-learning process in universities in Baghdad.

Electronic learning is nowadays a reality that has been possible due to the recent advances in technology. Different new Web tools have been developed to be directly applied to the teaching/learning process at all levels, especially in higher education. In fact, e-learning tools are the key elements for carrying out educational innovation when dealing with overcrowded groups of students. This e-tools applied to assessment are analyzed in this chapter. In particular, diagnostic and formative e-assessment implemented on a Moodle-based VLE environment has been introduced in different basic Mechanics subjects, with similar contents but taught in different engineering degrees, in diverse years or with various group sizes. The benefits and underlying problems of this introduction are described here. This has been made in order to compare results of different subjects and to extract general conclusions, which could be extrapolated to any other engineering disciplines.

This reseach is aimed at knowing the students ability in both solving the math problem and connection those who are taught by Problem Based Learning at class VIII of the Junior High school 28 Padang 2017/2018. This research is categorized as quasy Experimental Research, by using Randomized Control Group Only Design. After implementing the Problem Based Leaning, the student was directly given the test as the result showed that the score  of the student who belong to the experimental class in  problem solving recorded as 74,00 while those who were in the control class only refers to 72,30. The test average score on the experimental class in term of math connection ability was 68,73; while in the control class recorded as 62,43. The T- Test showed that T-Table equals to 1,64 with the degree of reliability 95% . This fact reveals that the students’ ability in solving the problem after being taught through Problem Based Learning is higher than in control class with T-count equals to 3,71; while their connection math ability through Problem Based Learning Model in the Experimental Class is higher than control with T-count 2.17.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, problem solving, mathematics connection

This study aimed at investigating the implementation of e-learning in one of government non-favourite schools in Singaraja. This study was the result of the real implementationof e-learning in Bali in which the government expected e-learning to be applicable in every school in Bali since the launching of Balinese version of E-learning 2017. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. This study used snowball sampling in which the public opinion was counted. The data were collected by using observation and interview guide. The result of the study showed that the implementation of e-learning was not running well and became a serious problem. Some sollutions were offered in this study.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi implementasi model Problem Based Learning (PBL), meningkatkan problem solving dan sikap curiosity calon guru pada mata kuliah IPA 1. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahap perencanaan, implementasi dan observasi serta refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus dengan materi yang diajarkan meliputi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman, pemisahan campuran, dan termoregulasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes problem solving dan lembar observasi problem solving, curiosity serta keterlaksanaan model PBL. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan sesuai dengan sintaks yang terdapat dalam model PBL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterlaksanaan model PBL sudah baik dengan terlaksananya semua langkah pada siklus 3. Strategi perbaikan yang dilakukan berupa memfokuskan orientasi masalah yang disajikan, membimbing calon guru dalam berbagi tugas dalam kelompok dan mengatur waktu sehingga pembelajaran lebih optimal. Hasil tes menunjukkan peningkatan rerata nilai problem solvingcalon guru dari siklus ke siklus dan di dukung dengan hasil observasi dimana tiap aspek problem solving mencapai kategorisangat baik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL dapat meningkatkan problem solving dan curiosity calon guru dalam pembelajaran IPA.Kata Kunci: problem based learning, problem solving, curiosity

Researcher Conducted research on Diniyah madrasah education which consisted of two classes for volume one and two consisting of 65 students and for volume three and four consisting of 32 students. In this study, the objectives are first to determine the effectiveness in the learning process of lilbanin morals, second to determine the effectiveness in shaping the morals of students in learning lil banin morals. descriptive qualitative research type. The conclusion is that the effectiveness of lil banin moral learning is quite good and has been very effective even though learning the lil banin book is a yellow book learning, so that the delivery of material is easy to understand by using attractive and appropriate methods such as exemplary methods, refraction, sorogan, wetonan, bandungan and memorization so that achieved in the formation of santri morals.

The swift flow of globalization has led to increasingly eroded Indonesian local culturalvalues. This has caused a shift in neglected cultural values and local wisdom. Therefore,an approach is needed, namely ethnoscience in the learning process. This studypurposed to determine whether The Elementary School of Muhammadiyah Alam SuryaMentari has applied ethnoscience in science learning and describe the implementationof ethnoscience based on science learning in The Elementary School of MuhammadiyahAlam Surya Mentari.The method used was descriptive qualitative research design. Theresults of the study showed that the planning of science learning based on ethnoscienceapproach in This School was still unplanned, but the school had unconsciously implementedethnoscience approach. The implementation of science based on ethnosciencelearning was by integrating between the material with the environment, culture, and socialin the environment. Evaluation of the implementation of ethnoscience based on sciencelearning included cognitive, affective, and psychomotor evaluation in accordance withevaluation standards in the 2013 curriculum.

This research intends to study the conditions and problems of learning management in Mathematics for undergraduate students. The research problem is that students have low achievement and ability problem-solving in mathematics. The research method used is development through conducting preliminary studies and quantitative survey research, producing initial designs of integrative learning models. The results of this research were used to develop the mathematics learning model. The research was conducted over one year considering two groups. The first sample was collected from the group with 376 students studying mathematics in the academic year 2020. The second sample was collected from the group with 116 professors of public universities in Thailand. Questionnaires were used as a tool of the research. The data analysis was divided into two stages. The first stage was to analyze supporting factors with factor analysis. The second stage was to design the learning management of students and professors with regression analysis. The results have shown that the opinions of students and professors on conditions and problems of learning management can be summarized as follows: (1) The students’ arguments for corrections in the aspects were group learning and teamwork, steps of solving problems, a learning model that is real situations, and the problem-based learning, respectively. (2) The professors’ opinions for corrections in the aspects were student interaction, academic achievement, problem-based learning, and learning management model that is current situations, respectively. (3)The supporting factors for developing the learning management model that professors and students were consistent in solving problems. It was found that there were three main factors as follows; group learning, problem-based learning, and active learning. The learning management model should be developed by integrating group learning, problem-based learning, and mathematical problem-solving to enhance problem-solving and mathematics learning achievement.

Recent advances in the field of digital technology have had a significant role in changing the concept of learning and teaching for both students and teachers. These developments have enabled educational systems to move from their traditional classroom-based teaching models to a more enhanced blended/e-learning approach including an array of electronic learning tools such as digital microscopy, electronic cell counter, 3D virtual reality, and demonstration videos. An integration of these digital tools along with contemporary face-to-face teaching can significantly improve student learning outcomes and provide convenient and flexible access to education and training. This model demonstrated a positive impact on laboratory-based courses such as Laboratory Medicine at Griffith University. The objective of this chapter is to highlight the impact and advantages of this particular model from the student- and teacher-based perspective. This chapter will also discuss some of the challenges of implementing this mode of teaching and provide future directions.
