The article discusses the use of Internet technologies in the implementation of autonomous foreign language teaching for students of non-linguistic universities. The analysis of various pedagogical approaches to the definition of the category of "autonomous learning" as a special type of educational activity. The possibilities of using ICT in the process of offline learning a foreign language for students of non-linguistic universities are described. The advantages of using the Internet when teaching a foreign language are given, the means of instruction, the types of independent work when using information technologies, information technologies are identified. A model of the educational process organization on the basis of students' educational autonomy using Internet technologies is presented, examples of the corresponding exercise system using Internet technologies are substantiated and given.

The using of modern Internet-technologies in a foreign language teaching is one of the most promising areas from the standpoint of optimizing the educational process. We propose the author’s definition of the term Internet-technology, which refers to the multi-species system of in-teraction between a teacher and a student with using modern technical tools of the Internet, aimed at the realization of the tasks set by communication. Also group blog is defined as the most promising subtype of Internet-technologies. It was given the author’s definition as a collective blog in which students from one group publish their work for further discussion with the aim of developing thought-thinking skills. The constituent elements of the communication act, including the participants, purpose, theme, language tools and circumstances, are implemented with group blog using. The advantage of didactic properties and methodological functions of the group blog in the formation and development of the communication skills “reading”, “writing”, “speaking”, “speech” and “listening” is noted. Studied in the scientific research center type of blog is presented as a unified platform for communication and space for teamwork of users group and moderator. Based on the constant set of statuses and roles in the teacher–student dyad, the thematic focus of blog is determined by the moderator – completing of assignments, participation in discussion of published material, reflection on other users’ messages. We also examine the group blog as one of the modern Internet-technologies in foreign language teaching.

This article deals with the importance of using informational recourses in teaching process of foreign language, and also analyzes the importance and effectiveness of using web technologies in learning a foreign language both in the classroom and in the independent work of students. The author analyzes various points of view on the feasibility of using information technologies in teaching a foreign language and expresses a holistic position on this issue, backing up with illustrative examples of a positive effect in the course of using modern technologies.

The article is devoted to one of the advanced formats of foreign language teaching at high school, which effectively complements extramural and full-time forms of education – distance learning. The author emphasizes that the quality and effectiveness of foreign languages distance learning athigher educational establishments depends on effectively organized course; the pedagogical skills of teachers, participating in the educational process; the quality of applied methodical content.The main principles of foreign languages distance learning in higher education has been covered, the means of improving the quality and effectiveness of this educational format has been proposed, the key conceptual regulations of foreign languages distance learning has been determined. The article proposes a model for organizing foreign languages distance learning course for future specialists, describes a system to control and monitor the knowledge of all types of speech activities. It is also noted that independent work in the foreign languages distance course at high school should not be passive, but on the contrary, the student should be involved in active cognitive activities, not limited to acquiring foreign language skills, but necessarily includes their practical application; to solve certain communicative tasks in the future professional activity.The article concludes that in the process of organizing the foreign language distance learning course at high school, it is necessary to take into account not only the didactic characteristics and functions of multimedia and telecommunications as a technological basis, but also the conceptual trends of didactic distance learning as a component of modern education. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the specific nature of foreign language teaching in general.Key words: higher educational establishment, distance learning, multimedia means, independent work, information and communicative technologies, Internet, interactive engagement.

In this article, the demand for learning a foreign language is also increasing day by day, the science of foreign languages is divided into four aspects (reading, reading, listening comprehension and speaking), each of which has its own concept and skills transfer, educational technologies, effective use of modern information technologies in this educational process and other similar topics will be discussed. In the concept of the Ukrainian education modernization new priorities have been identified. The leading aspect is the preparation of the younger generation for life in a rapidly changing information society, in the world where there is a constant need for new professions and continuous professional development. In the modern system of education there is a situation, when the established methods, techniques and forms of education require interpretation, correction and new pedagogical solutions. This is primarily due to the widespread introduction and wide use of information and communication technologies. The process of education informatization is quite complex and requires a rethinking of experience while implementing innovative information technologies analysis and evaluation of opportunities of their use in the learning process. That causes the necessity of a new level of studying the subjects in order to develop each student’s steady willingness and ability to learn independently-acquired knowledge, creative approach to the implementation of learning tasks. The use of new information technologies in teaching is one of the most important aspects of improving and optimizing the educational process, enriching the arsenal of methodological tools and techniques that allow diversifying the forms of work and making the learning process of a foreign language interesting and memorable for students. So a contemporary teacher should not only have knowledge in the field of new informational technologies. The purpose of the article is to investigate existing innovative SMART tools which English teachers can use as a part of their professional activity, disclose the essence of these instruments and benefits of using them in the teaching process. Using SMART tools in the process of teaching a foreign language reveals the enormous capabilities of the computer as an effective means of learning. SMART tools allow you to train different types of speech activity and combine them in different combinations, understand the language phenomena, contribute to the formation of linguistic abilities, create communicative situations, automate linguistic and speech actions, as well as ensure the implementation of an individual approach and the intensification of the independent work of students.

The problem of ways of increasing motivation in the university foreign language teaching is analyzed. It is emphasized the motivation can cause the purposeful activity of a student’s personality in learning a foreign language. The analysis of scientific literature that is connected with the problems of motivation as a complex mechanism of the correlation of external and internal factors that determine the appearance and methods of implementation of educational activity forms, its focus on the internal incentives of knowledge gaining, is carried. Attention is focused on the fact that the efficiency of educational activities depends on the strength of motivation. The degree of success depends on the use of techniques and methods of the learning process organizing, which, in our opinion, contribute to the creation of motivational incentives of learning a foreign language: the linguistic and country-specific studies aspect, focus on professional activity, the use of computer technologies in extracurricular work, and educational process gamification. It is concluded that the internal motivation has a great motivating force, and its condition is the creation of the success situation by the teacher that can be reached with the help of reward for successful work system, attracting the additional material of country-specific studies nature, improving communicative skills, usage of educational platforms as homework, usage of the gamification to involve students in solving educational non-game processes and situations.

This article discusses the definition of teaching methods as a science, its object and subject, and features. The main components of the connection between the methodology of teaching computer science as a science and the main concepts of the educational process are also identified. The main focus is on generalizing the experience of teaching the discipline "Informatics" to students of humanitarian universities and highlighting interdisciplinary connections. The purpose of the article is to describe the intermediate results obtained during the study of the effective use of information technologies in the course of teaching students of a humanitarian university in the discipline "Informatics". The structure of the e-course in the self-study support system is presented. The place of the discipline "Informatics" in the training programs of students of the 1st year of the bachelor's degree in the areas of "Economics" is highlighted, the types of tasks for independent work of students are described, and an example of the design of educational materials for the case in the discipline "Informatics" is given. The main directions of improving the methodology of teaching the discipline "Informatics" are also outlined.

The article describes the linguodidactic technology of autonomous foreign language learning in the system of higher education. The fundamental principle of autonomous learning of a foreign language is to develop skills of self-regulating activities, motivation for self-improvement and acquisition of new communication skills. Educational autonomy is an integral part of modern foreign language education as it contributes to the independent use of language and the development of motivation for the language self-mastery. The article analyzes the structure of linguodidactic technology in the unity of goal setting, content, and organization of the educational process, methods and forms of foreign language teaching, comprehensive evaluation of educational progress. The importance of using the latest information technologies, distant resources, educational platforms is emphasized. The technology is based on the principles of individualization and diversifi cation of education and increases its human potential.
