The aim and objectives of the article are to analyze fraudulent phishing schemes and develop recommendations for Internet use and relevant regulatory tasks. The relevance of the article is due to the peculiarities of working in cyberspace with the emergence of new sources of banking risks, both for customers and organizations. The scientific novelty of the manuscript consists of a detailed analysis of phishing schemes, the development of recommendations and directions in relation to the Russian Federation. The object of the study is cyber fraud in the credit and financial sphere; the subject is social engineering and phishing schemes. The methodology of the paper includes a systematic analysis of the literature and sources on the research topic, general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, deduction, analogy, classification), correlation analysis of data, graphical visualization of information. The authors consider the main methods of phishing and the most common techniques used by cybercriminals. Based on the critical analysis of the literature the authors determined a promising direction for the scientific and technical potential of Russia. A correlation analysis of the relationship between the number of cybercrimes and commercial banks is performed. The study offers recommendations to Internet users (how to recognize the signs of fraud), and to regulatory bodies on improving the system of supervision over the dissemination of information in cyberspace. The authors concluded that it is necessary to increase the level of cyber literacy and general literacy of the population, on the one hand, and to modernize the methods of supervision and control of the information posted on the Internet, on the other hand, to effectively counter financial and cybercrime. The research results can be used in the further development of remote banking services for the population to increase competitiveness in the banking services market. Prospects for further research on this topic lie in expanding its structure, developing the competencies of specialists in the field of remote banking technologies, as well as developing the scientific and technical potential of Russia.

Regulation as a legal form of social engineering has been subjected to much analysis in the last decade or so. The importance of the topic to contemporary law cannot be overstated: on the one hand, it has been the avowed aim of government to ‘deregulate’ industry; on the other hand, and paradoxically, both the concomitant policy of privatisation and the evolution towards a Single European Market have increased the need for regulation in appropriate areas. The efforts to explore the strengths and weaknesses of different regulatory forms have brought together scholars from a wide range of disciplines. Administrative lawyers have been concerned with how the power of decision-making is allocated between institutions and the general problems of accountability and control of discretion to which this gives rise. Socio-legal researchers have critically examined the practices of regulatory agencies as regards rule formulation and enforcement.

The number of internet users in Malaysia is significantly high in comparison with other countries. It is reported that the number of internet users who were born in the year 2000 and above is almost near 70% in Malaysia. In 2015, the Malaysian internet users has exceeded to more than 19 million users. Therefore, the amount of banks that are implementing internet services to their customer is to be roughly 30. Meanwhile, there are only 13 banks in Malaysia that offers mobile banking services to its customers. Although there has been a rapid distribution of mobile internet by banks, internet banking services is still not fully adopted by banks. The objective of the study is to study about the factor affecting the trustworthiness of customers towards the usage of internet banking in Malaysia. This research is about the trustworthiness of customers towards the usage of internet banking. There are a few variables of factors that affect the trustworthiness of customers towards the usage of internet banking and it is clearly explained and elaborated. The factors are competency, security, integrity performance and shared values. Next, the methodology quantitative approach has used in this research whereby 200 respondents were sampled by the population from using the simple random taking. Economic developments are rapidly accelerating, and the world is becoming even more complicated. Recently, the world has witnessed the trend toward the reduction of household contribution and growing contribution of non-financial corporations as well as the one of public administration to GDP within its institutional structure. The main problem in Russia results from huge territories and low interest of investors due to weak guarantees of investment protection. The banks with large state-owned shareholding do not always match their activities with the interests of the State. Low penetration of banking services into regions results from their low capitalization, low level of financial literacy, insufficient demand for banking services from the population and unfair competition posed by state-owned banks. With the general problems of banking sector added by regional factors, the derived statistics is extremely controversial. The solution of this problem needs durable solutions.

In this paper, Linear Quadratic (LQ) optimal control concepts are applied for the active control of vibrations in helicopters. The study is based on an identified dynamic model of the rotor. The vibration effect is captured by suitably augmenting the state vector of the rotor model. Then, Kalman filtering concepts can be used to obtain a real-time estimate of the vibration, which is then fed back to form a suitable compensation signal. This design rationale is derived here starting from a rigorous problem position in an optimal control context. Among other things, this calls for a suitable definition of the performance index, of nonstandard type. The application of these ideas to a test helicopter, by means of computer simulations, shows good performances both in terms of disturbance rejection effectiveness and control effort limitation. The performance of the obtained controller is compared with the one achievable by the so called Higher Harmonic Control (HHC) approach, well known within the helicopter community.

AbstractPorcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) is a serious disease burdening global swine industry. Infection by its etiological agent, PRRS virus (PRRSV), shows a highly restricted tropism of host cells and has been demonstrated to be mediated by an essential scavenger receptor (SR) CD163. CD163 fifth SR cysteine-rich domain (SRCR5) is further proven to play a crucial role during viral infection. Despite intense research, the involvement of CD163 SRCR5 in PRRSV infection remains to be elucidated. In the current study, we prepared recombinant monkey CD163 (moCD163) SRCR5 and human CD163-like homolog (hCD163L1) SRCR8, and determined their crystal structures. After comparison with the previously reported crystal structure of porcine CD163 (pCD163) SRCR5, these structures showed almost identical structural folds but significantly different surface electrostatic potentials. Based on these differences, we carried out mutational research to identify that the charged residue at position 534 in association with the one at position 561 were important for PRRSV-2 infection in vitro. Altogether the current work sheds some light on CD163-mediated PRRSV-2 infection and deepens our understanding of the viral pathogenesis, which will provide clues for prevention and control of PRRS.
