Abstract. Learning is the process of interaction between students and their environment so that there is a change in behavior towards a better direction. So that in generating a positive response it is necessary to improve the learning model. This research was conducted at the fifth grade IT FAZA AZKIA Elementary School, Kelurahan Hutaraja, Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Research uses classroom action research. The study aims to determine how students respond to the use of inquiry-based learning models based on the concept of buying and selling on statistical material. This research resulted in the response of students in the first cycle still not achieving a minimum score of 80%. While the response of students in cycle second the entire response of students has reached a minimum value of 80%. So that the response of students has been positive and this has increased from cycle I to cycle II.Keywords: Student Response, Inquiry Learning Model, Buying and Selling Concept

This research was carried out with the aim of increasing the ability of teachers to make lesson plans (RPP) using inquiry-based learning models, this inquiry-based learning model will have a learning impact on students' positive mental development, because through this learning, students have wide opportunities. to find and find for themselves what he needs, especially in abstract learning. The form of research undertaken was School Action Research (PTS) with 2 cycles. This research was conducted at SDN 006 Sencano Jaya, Batang Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency with a sample size of 9 teachers. Based on the analysis of research data after applying the inquiry learning model, the ability of teachers to make lesson plans, that refer to Permendikbud Number 22 of 2016, has shown an increase, from cycle I to Cycle II. Cycle I to cycle II has increased. In the first cycle the teacher's average score was 71.66, and in the second cycle it increased to 85.00. Likewise, Classical Absorption (DSK) has increased. In the first cycle, the DSK was 35.00%, and in the second cycle it increased to 59.44%. So it can be concluded that this inquiry-based learning model by providing guidance and direction to teachers at SDN 006 Sencano Jaya can be said to be successful because it has increased from cycle I to cycle II.

This study aims to determine the application of inquiry learning models, student learning outcomes in Thematic subjects the objects around us to beginner students in class V. This research is a type of quantitative analysis using designs in the form of one group pretest and posttest. The study population was all fifth-grade elementary school students, amounting to 23 students' data collection techniques using the method of observation and learning outcomes tests. The instrument to measure learning outcomes using pretest and posttest in the form of objective analysis is multiple choice. Data were analyzed using hypothesis testing with the help of the product-moment formula and Paired Sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that learning using inquiry learning models is shown by the average feasibility of aspects with a range of values of 3.50-3.88. And there is an influence of the inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning the themes of objects around us in class V, as evidenced by the testing of hypotheses obtained r count = 0.806 and r tables = 0.433. While the Paired Sample t-test significance test, showed a correlation before and after the inquiry learning model was applied at 0.806> α (0.05). Based on the values, it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model has a positive influence on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning of the objects around us in the fifth grade of significantly.

The problems that underlined this research included: the development of children's social skills was still not optimal, learning models in the classroom were less varied, including in the selection of media and, the interaction of students with other students was still lacking so that learning was still monotonous and less interesting. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the project-based learning model which is assisted with traditional clogs toward the social skills of the fifth-grade elementary school students. The study applied a non-equivalent control group design. Determination of the sample applied random sampling techniques. The population of this study was all students of class V. In this study, the obtained samples were 62 people. Data collection applied observation techniques. The instrument was the observation sheet. The calculation results of average gain in students’ social skills scores were given the treatment of project-based learning models in which learning was assisted with traditional game clogs included 0.295 in the category of very sufficient, while students who were taught conventional learning models had an average score of social skills score of -0.022 , belongs to the less category. Thus, based on these findings, it can be concluded that the project-based learning model assisted by traditional game clogs influences the social skills of fifth grade elementary school students. This model can be used as a choice by teachers to be used as an alternative to improve social skills.

The purpose of this research is whether there is influence or not on the application of Two Stay Two Stray learning model on fifth-grade student’s social science learning performance in AL-ISLAH Elementary school. The method applied by this research was a quantitative experiment. The design of thes research takes the fifth-grade students of AL- ISLAH Elementary school as the population and 30 of the total as the sample. The data collecting technique uses test. Meanwhile, the analysis of the data runs hypotheses test and Eta Squared formula. The result of the application of Two Stay Two Stray learning model on fifth-grade student’s social science learning performance in AL-ISLAH Elementary school showed that the t-account is more than t-table. It is 22,20>1,699. The acquired data shows if the application of Two Stay Two Stray learning models has an influence on fifth-grade student’s social science learning performence in  AL-ISLAH Elementary school. By  Eta Squared, it shows 0,94>0,14. Based on the data by Eta Squared indicates that the influence given is moderately big towards student’s learning performance.

This research is motivated by the 2013 curriculum which aims to make science learning not just a conceptual understanding but to train students' skills, in this case science process skills. This research is a classroom action research conducted in September 2019 with 31 students of class VII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan. The instruments used were the observation sheet and the student response questionnaire to the inquiry learning model. The results showed that the science process skills of students in the first cycle were 64.69 with sufficient criteria, in the second cycle it was 71.22 which was a good criterion. Student responses to the learning carried out are positive where students strongly agree with learning because it can improve students' science process skills. The conclusion based on the results of the research is that the application of the guided inquiry learning model can improve students' science process skills and a positive response from grade VII.1 students of SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan.

The research that examines the effect of guided inquiry learning models on science learning outcomes has been done a lot, but the results of these studies have not received further study to be summarized and re-tested the effectiveness of the effects of the learning model used. This study aimed to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning models on the science learning outcomes of elementary students. This research was library research with meta-analysis data analysis techniques. The subjects of this study were 7 research articles from various Sinta accredited research journals. Data collection used literature study techniques which were followed by reviewing articles related to the research topic. This study analyzed the effect size of each article. The results of the analysis of the value of each research article obtained the highest value of 1.34, which is included in the large category and there is a research article obtaining a value of 0.78 which has a medium category. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the guided inquiry learning model has a great influence on improving the learning outcomes of elementary school science students. It also reinforces the results of previous research which states the guided inquiry learning model has a positive effect on improving science learning outcomes of elementary school students.

This study aims to test the validity of inquiry learning models in making students more active in the learning process. This research using experimental methods. The experimental design uses a pretest and posttest control group, an experimental design with two groups. Research has proven that the inquiry learning model significantly makes students more active. They become more responsive, more enthusiastic, ask more questions, and are happier to find new knowledge. The group of students who learned using the inquiry learning model had higher student activities compared to the group of students who did not use the inquiry learning model. The first group of students became more diligent, more enthusiastic, asked more questions, were more active in discussion activities, and were more creative in solving problems and finding new knowledge.
