Cultivating awareness of the multicultural dimension in a plural and multicultural society through education is urgent because education is a potential entry point to instill an appreciation for diversity due to ethnicity, religion, gender, and family economic background and others. college student. This study aims to describe the cultural values ​​of Bugis in Islamic education that develop in universities in Palopo City. In research using qualitative. The culture of siri 'in religious learning from students' attitude of discipline and responsibility. Discipline and student responsibility to maintain self-esteem and dignity of students which are a reflection of the culture of siri 'which functions as the spirit of students in the value education process. The concept of siri learning in education provides respectful values ​​such as Sipakatau (giving information), Sipakalebbi (Mutual Respect), Sipakaingge (Reminding each other), Sipakatou (Sharing). Bugis culture has a sense of love and affection for others which is shown by proverbs such as Mali siparappe, rebba sipatokkong, malilu sipakainge (other people are taken away, helped, some fall, are helped to wake up, others come out of the norm to be reminded / repent). Bugis people are fellow human beings, let alone fellow humans. So that Bugis cultural education is in line with the values ​​of pluralism that grow and develop in Indonesia.

The way in which the “traditional” system of education ends up deflecting people's attention from the things that make us, human beings, a whole, a species, and a unity, is constantly and ascendingly challenged and thought against. Currently, we need to find out what features of the former educational system, especially those institutionalized, maintained by the school and society, are highlighted here to be eliminated and what is their authentic value in the system. In the present approach, we will refer, as an example, to religious education. These characteristics that we intend to discuss here do not target a “radical” pedagogy but question the educational system in relation to the inclusion-exclusion binomial. The stereotype, bias, and pretentious choices strained by exclusivism through education actually dehumanize us and stress on features that do not honor us. Is it possible to ever lose them along with all their harmful social consequences?

Abstract: The community service part of Tri Dharma Higher Education, through devotion then theory in the education process is implemented through activities in the community that benefit and supports community development. The purpose of this writing is to describe one of the programs in community service implemented by the Hindu Religious Education Study Program, STAHN Gde Pudja Mataram in Pasraman Amerta Sanjiwani, Rincung Village which is training to draw Balinese ornaments. Hindus in Rincung Village is still bloody and of Balinese descent, so it certainly still brings Balinese culture in the daily life of its people, based on the results of interviews that children know Balinese ornaments but are not yet adept at drawing them so that through the training process of drawing Balinese ornaments on children in Rincung village to introduce and preserve Hindu cultural values namely Balinese ornaments as ancestral art heritage. The methods used in this service include the process of planning implementation and evaluation wherein the planning emphasizes the strengthening of the design of learning design. Based on this devotional activity, it was obtained as a result that the children in the training to draw Balinese ornaments were very enthusiastic and began to generate motivation to continue preserving the cultural heritage of their ancestors. Through training activities on community service, this can be used as insight and source of information and can be resumed in the next devotional activities. Keywords : learning, drawing, ornament, Hindu, devotion Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat bagian dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, melalui pengabdian maka teori dalam proses Pendidikan  diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan di masyarakat yang bermanfaat dan menunjang pembangunan masyarakat. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah menggambarkan salah satu program dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh program studi Pendidikan Agama Hindu, STAHN Gde Pudja Mataram di Pasraman Amerta Sanjiwani Desa Rincung yaitu pelatihan menggambar ornamen Bali. Umat Hindu di Desa Rincung masih berdarah dan keturunan suku Bali sehingga tentu masih membawa budaya Bali dalam keseharian masyarakatnya, berdasarkan hasil wawancara bahwa anak-anak mengenal ornamen Bali namun belum mahir untuk menggambarnya sehingga melalui proses pelatihan menggambar ornamen Bali pada anak-anak di desa Rincung  untuk mengenalkan dan melestarikan kembali nilai-nilai budaya yang bernuansa Hindu yaitu ornamen Bali sebagai warisan kesenian leluhur. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah meliputi proses perencanaan pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dimana dalam perencanaannya menekankan kepada penguatan perancangan desain pelatihan. Berdasarkan kegiatan pengabdian ini maka didapatkan hasil bahwa anak-anak dalam pelatihan menggambar ornamen Bali sangatlah antusias dan mulai timbul motivasi untuk terus melestarikan warisan budaya leluhurnya. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat dijadikan sebagai suatu wawasan dan sumber informasi dan dapat dilanjutkan kembali dalam kegiatan pengabdian selanjutnya. Kata Kunci : pembelajaran, menggambar, ornamen, hindu, pengabdian

Islamic religious education teachers must be aware and understand that coaching is not only enough with orders, not only by giving rewards to those who carry out discipline, or giving punishment for violators, but more than that where coaching must be aware of the students themselves. When the awareness has emerged from the students, without coercion from the teacher, students will do habits and have an environment-based character. And it is at this stage that teachers are said to be successful in fostering character education

Abstract. The objective of this research was to describes the morality contained in the novel Affairs at the Negeri di Ujung Tanduk the works Tere Liye. The research method used content analysis. The data in this research is a sentence containing the moral values ​​contained by the novel of the State at Ujung Tanduk Karya Tere Liye. Technique of collecting data using documentation technique and record. Data analysis techniques with steps: data reduction, data tabulation and coding, interpretation, classification, and conclusion. The result of the research shows that morality in Tere Liye Negeri di Ujung Tanduk novel is: first, human relationships with other human beings in the form of self existence, self esteem, self confidence, fear, death, longing, resentment, loneliness, maintaining the sanctity of greed, developing courage, honesty, hard work, patient, resilient, cheerful, steadfast, open, visionary, independent, brave, courageous, optimistic, envy, hypocritical, reflective, responsible, principle, confident, disciplined , and voracious. Second, human relationships with other humans or social and nature in the form of cooperation, acquaintance, hypocrisy, caring, hypocrisy, caring, friendship, smile, mutual help, and betrayal. Third human relationships in the form of God's menthidising and avoiding shirk, piety and pleading with prayers, prayers performed by human beings, as an awareness that everything in this universe belongs to God. <p><strong>            </strong><em>This research is motivated by the analysis extrinsic elements novel </em><em>Sang Pemimpi</em><em>. This study aimed to describe the social values, cultural values, moral values, and religious values in the novel </em><em>Sang Pemimpi</em><em>. The research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The data in this study is a form of social values, cultural values, </em><em>religius </em><em>values and moral </em><em>on Sang Pemimpi</em><em> novel by Andrea Hirata. Data source is </em><em>Sang Pemimpi</em><em> novel by Andrea Hirata. Data collection techniques in this study are: (1) to read and understand the Novel </em><em>Sang Pemimpi</em><em> by Andrea Hirata, and (2) give coding by underlining sentences containing social values, cultural values and political values in the note of the novel </em><em>Sang Pemimpi</em><em> by Andrea Hirata all data regarding speech acts in a novel study. While the steps in analyzing data are: (1) read data that has been </em><em>record</em><em>ed, (2) classify or record data for the purpose for researchers based on the novel </em><em>Sang Pemimpi</em><em> by Andrea Hirata, (3) interpreting or interpretation of data for the purpose of research is to analyze the novel Sang </em><em>Pemimpi</em><em> by Andrea Hirata, and (4) make the conclusion of the study. The results of this study stated that extrinsic elements contained in </em><em>Sang Pemimpi</em><em> novel by Andrea Hirata is the value of cultural education, where cultural rights set forth in the novel The Dreamer ie when they are a teenager then it started to work for money. Social educational value, namely the attitude of helping each other like Arai and Mak Cik, and as pastor and Jimbron. the value of religious education that is visible on the pastor and Jimbron, although Jimbron raised by a pastor, but the pastor did not impose his religion on Jimbron. moral and political education value seen in a leader who has no morals and honesty.</em></p><p> </p><p><em>            Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh analisis unsur ekstrinsik novel Sang Pemimpi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai sosial, nilai budaya, nilai politik, nilai moral, dan nilai religius dalam novel Sang Pemimpi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. </em><em>Data dalampenelitian iniadalah bentuk nilai sosial,  nilai budaya, nilai realigi dan moral dalam novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata. Sumber datanya adalah novelSang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) membaca dan memahami Novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata</em><em>, dan (2) </em><em>memberi pengkodean dengan menggarisbawahi kalimat-kalimat yang mengandung nilai sosial, nilai budaya, dan nilai politik dalam Mencatat Novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata  semua data mengenai tindak tutur dalam novel yang diteliti. Sedangkan langkah-langkah dalam menganalisis datanya adalah: (1) membaca data yang sudah dicatat, (2) mengklasifikasikan atau mencatat data sesuai tujuan peneliti berdasarkan novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata, (3) menginterprestasikan atau penafsiran data dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu menganalisis novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata, dan (4) membuat simpulan penelitian.</em><em>Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa unsur ekstrinsik yang dapat dalam novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata adalah nilai pendidikan budaya, di mana budaya yang tercantum dalam novel Sang Pemimpi yaitu apabila sudah beranjak remaja maka sudah mulai bekerja untuk mencari uang. nilai pendidikan sosial, yaitu adanya sikap saling tolong menolong seperti Arai dan Mak Cik, dan seperti pendeta dan Jimbron. nilai pendidikan religius yaitu terlihat pada pendeta dan Jimbron, walaupun Jimbron diasuh oleh seorang Pendeta, tetapi pendeta tersebut tidak memaksakan agamanya pada Jimbron. nilai pendidikan moral dan politik terlihat pada seorang pemimpin yang tidak mempunyai moral dan kejujuran.</em></p>

Many parents do not understand the concept of faith education inchildren. This could be based on an assumption that children are stilltoo young to be educated in matters of faith. Whereas the family, in thiscase the parents, is an educational institution that is directly related tothe child since he was born. So there is a thought that the family isbelieved to have a very strong influence on children’s religiouseducation. This happens because the relationship that exists betweenparents and children for 24 hours is very important in education.Zakiah Daradjat is an education expert who also believes that theimportance of faith education is given to children as early as possible,so the purpose of this study is to find out how Zakiah Daradjat’sthoughts about children’s religious education are in the family. Byusing qualitative research methods, the author seeks to explain theeducation of children’s faith in the family according to ZakiahDaradjat. The author found that Zakiah Daradjat had clear thoughtsabout children’s religious education in the family, which aims to makechildren as human beings, through the six pillars of faith, with methodsof exemplification, habituation, wrong correction, erroneous quarrelsthat occur and reminding the forgotten. The evaluations carried out inthe form of memorization tests, tests of understanding and practice ofworship. This makes Zakiah Daradjat’s thoughts still relevant to beapplied in today’s life and become a reference for psrents, teachers abdother related parties.

This paper claims that human beings are first of all Homo Culturus and only then Homo Politicus, Homo Sociologus, or Homo Oeconomicus. Human beings are distinguished from all other species by what I call human symbols (HS), namely, language, thought, religion, knowledge/science, myths, laws, and cultural values and norms. As such, they are central to the human identity of individuals, groups, and societies and therefore basic keys for understanding and explaining individual as well as collective behaviors in human societies. The theoretical framework/paradigm of Homo Culturus also helps to explain the phenomenon of the human mind in its various forms: the illiterate mind, the educated mind, and the highly intellectual minds of scientists and scholars such as Ibn Khaldun.

This research aims to identify and analyse students’ response on the application of the Hypnoteaching in learning Hindu religious education in class X of SMAN 7 Denpasar. This research follows a qualitative approach with observation as the main data collection technique. The sample of the study is X Mipa 6 class with 34 students from a total of 389. The application of hypnoteaching methods is fun for students compared to  conventional methods which tend to be uninteresting. When using Hypnoteaching method, students were very excited during learning activities. By using hypnoteaching methods in learning Hindu religious education students becomes very enthusiastic in listening to the teacher's explanation of Hindu religious learning materials. To improve learning activities students prepare themselves for the topic discussion. Students’ response to the application of Hypnoteaching method is positive. They think that the method is effective as it can increase students’ enthusiasm to learn.

Islamic religious education is very important for shaping character, especially in social society. In today's era, students tend not to care about society, therefore forming a good character is very important, especially in the social community in Islamic religious education itself, it teaches us that we are required to have good character as taught by the Prophet Muhammad; Allah SWT said, which means "and indeed you (Muhammad) have a noble character". Because of this, it can be concluded that the Prophet Muhammad, was sent to earth to improve the character of all human beings. Thus, the character of education from an Islamic point of view is needed, especially in Islamic educational institutions. So, from various problems related to morals which are ideally able to realize character education, especially in social society in an Islamic perspective in the form of mutual care. courtesy to parents. sense of responsibility and care for fellow human beings.
