This study aims to develop learning media in the form of videos called "Al-Mutho" videos on Haalatul Hadiiqoh material in third-grade students of elementary school. This is qualitative descriptive research and type of case study that aims to determine students' perceptions in using ‘Al-Mutho” videos. The results showed that students felt happier and eager to learn vocabulary (mufrodat) by using the video "Al-Mutho." Also, students are also able to remember ten new vocabulary words that are taught in one time face to face. This can be seen from the ability of students to answer the questions given quickly and precisely. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the video "Al-Mutho" can be used as an alternative media for mufrodat learning in Arabic for elementary schools.

This study aims to identify students’ errors in solving problem equals to PISA’s based on Newman procedures. Qualitative-descriptive research was used in conducting this study and the subjects were third-grade students at SMP Unggul Sigli in year 2017/2018. Data was collected using tests and interviews. The instrument of this study was a sheet consisting of 5 (five) mathematical questions that composed equivalent to PISA’s problem. Analyzing students’ errors was guided by analyzing procedures developed by Newman which contain 5 (five) kinds of error, they are (1) reading error; (2) understanding error; (3) transformation error; (4) processing skill error; and (5) writing error. The result showed the percentage of each kind of errors made by students which detailed as follows, reading error comprised 37,1% of students; error in problem understanding made up 47%; 73% of subjects made error in transforming; 80% of students had error in processing; and error in writing final answer made up 78,1% of them. By analyzing the percentage, it is identified that the three most common mistakes are processing error, transformation error, and error in writing a final answer.

<span lang="EN-US">The purpose of the study is to determine the elementary school third grade students’ expectations of their classroom teachers within the context of the course of language education. The sampling of the study is comprised of 200 elementary school third grade students attending elementary schools in the Milas Province of the city of Muğla. The data were gathered by means of the questionnaire, which had six sub-categories, in order to identify students’ expectations of their teachers. The findings of the study revealed that the students have high expectations of their teachers in terms of the sub-dimensions of active participation, verbal participation, written participation, participating in reading, inclusion of the topics and measurement and evaluation. The students’ expectations of their teachers in relation to the sub-dimension of measurement and evaluation were found to be varying significantly depending on the gender variable. This difference is in favor of boys.</span>

In teaching Indonesian language, the unification between language and culture is a really interesting source of study. The objectives of this study is to explore the identity of Gatotkaca character values of local wisdom found in the elementary school students’ reading book in several elementary schools in Sukoharjo Regency. This study was designed with a qualitative descriptive research model with content analysis technique. The data and data sources were taken from an elementary school student's reading book Gatotkaca Satria from Pringgodani. The results revealed that the local wisdom indicators primarily found in the reading book of Gatotkaca Satria Pringgodani including values of patriotism and other values such as discipline, hard work, creativity, sovereignty, democracy, respect for achievement, companionship, peace-loving, love of reading, and care to environment, social security, and responsibility. Gatotkaca principally showed the attitudes that can motivate students to develop patriotic sense.

Background: This study aims to describe: (1) English Club background at SDIT (Islamic Elementary School) Az-Zahra Sragen (2) English Club planning, (3) English Club implementation, (4) English Club implementation constraints, (5) Solutions to overcome English Club implementation constraints, (6) Evaluation of English Club at SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen. Method: Types of research this is qualitative descriptive research with a case study design. The informants of this research are the principal, English Club supervisor, English teacher class 3,4,5, English Club students. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources. The data were analyzed through data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion. Results: This shows various information about the English Club at SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen in developing English language skills. The data obtained include The background of the English Club, namely so that students can speak English fluently and communicate correctly using English. In addition, it is also motivated for competition. English Club planning includes socialization, ideas and financing, planning before implementation, and student preparation. Implementation of the English Club includes materials, media, techniques, and activities. Meanwhile, English skills that are more prominent are speaking skills. There are still obstacles to be faced. The obstacles and solutions include: when making materials, designing activities, media, implementation, in developing English skills.

This research aims to understand the pedagogical practices developed by the teachers of a school in the countryside of the Municipal Education Network of Feira de Santana-BA, located in the District of Maria Quitéria, in the process of including students with disabilities, enrolled in the final years of the Elementary School. Such investigation was developed through a qualitative descriptive research, carried out through a case study, whose data were collected through semi-structured interviews with two teachers who work with students with disabilities. The results showed that among the main implications of this study, we highlight that, despite the fact that students with disabilities have their enrollment and access to school guaranteed by law, the lack of accessibility and qualified training causes this education provided to them to be neglected. In addition, the investigated teachers pointed out some difficulties for the teaching and learning of students with disabilities, and showed that despite the difficulties faced by the rural school and by them, such as the lack of specialized teaching materials, lack of resources and the lack of interest government agencies, they are concerned with developing differentiated strategies to include them.

This research was conducted with the aim at 1) depicting how the development of "Comic Life" media products for literacy movements of third-grade students in elementary schools and 2) portraying the users’ responses to the development of "Comic Life" media products for literacy movements of third-grade students in elementary school. The results of this research indicate that 1) the media has fulfilled properness and organized criteria so that the media can be utilized for literacy activities in schools. This is espoused by the percentage acquisition of media experts as much as 90.6% withal excellent category. Moreover, the percentage of literacy experts gain 92% on the superior category. 2) The response outputs which were acquired from questionnaires of small group students yielded to the tone of 93.3% in a prime category. Furthermore, the outcomes from the large group questionnaire responses obtain in the tone of 95.1% on the convenient category.

This research focuses on how leadership has a major role in addressing environmental issues, especially through the garbage bank program as a form of case study. Furthermore, the problems that occur in the midst of society are often rely solely on political will or political desire to solve them. The research is to know and learn Lurah's (head of village) leadership in the management of waste banks specifically. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques through structured interviews, documentation and observations. Researchers conducted an analysis using leadership theory from Yukl, where the theory discusses leadership comprehensively. Researchers only focus on five parts of the concept that are considered relevant, namely: visionary, guidance, affiliative, democratic and communicative concepts. The results of this study based on these dimensions are good enough Lurah (head of village) leadership. But there are several things that are considered able to optimize the running of the program through the role of Lurah (Head of village) leadership, namely: first, involving active knots and community leaders such as MUI, academics to support scientific aspects, and professionals in the field of practical management. The study aimed at exploring the implementation of physical education (PE) teaching during the Covid 19 Pandemic at elementary schools of sub-district of Balung, Jember, Indonesia. This descriptive research which follows the quantitative approach implemented the survey method using one shot case study. The samples participating in the study are 12 SE teachers. In order to gather the data, a questionnaire was distributed to the participants online through Google Form, containing 10 items. The data obtained were analyzed in descriptive quantitative  through percentage. The findings indicate that all participants (100%) conduct the teaching and learning, where 50% of them delivered the teaching in online learning and 58% confirmed that the learning adheres to the lesson plans. Moreover, 67% of the participants informed that the learning materials are in the same order as stated in the lesson plans, 67% used WhatsApp groups as their teaching media, 67% of the participants informed that their students were enthusiastic and participated actively in the class, 50% have cooperated with their students’ parents for supporting learning, 67% of them stated the assessment was based on submitted exams and tasks, 58% stated that the assessment was less effective. Meanwhile, the analysis of learning indicators reveal that generally 41% of the participants claim difficulties in accessing good Internet connection, and 42% of the participants’ students could not afford smartphones for their learning and thus could not submit their tasks. Briefly the Covid 19 pandemic does not hamper the conduct of teaching and learning though it is now delivered online, however, in general the study found that the teaching and learning is less effective; therefore,  more attention needs to be paid to students especially with their obstacles in using the learning media and accessing proper Internet connection.

The descriptive  research examines the effects of educational media on children’s language development . It aims to answer the following questions; a) To what extend does the educational media influences the children’s language development? b)  Do parents interact with their children during co-viewing ? Since many of the children in this era are exposed to educational media programs/apps/ games at a very young age, it is important for the researcher to find out the extend educational media influences children’s language development and  do parents co-view and interact with the children.  Five parents with children from age one year of age to pre-school were interviewed face to face. The research is carried out at Seberang Perai Urban Area targeting parents who send their children to middle income kindergartens. Face to face interviews were carried out to find out to what extend educational media  influences on children’s language development and to find out whether parents co-view and interact with their children. Upon completion of the data collection , the results will be used to determine the positive and negative part of educational media on children’s language development and how parents co-view and interactions can  benefit them.
