Vocational High School is the biggest contributor to unemployment in the area, many supporting factors such as the unstable condition of the company. Basically, that is not all, the teaching process for these Vocational Schools is at the forefront of the increase in the unemployment rate of SMK graduates. From the results of community service activities, the following conclusions are obtained: (1) With the community service at Adiwerna District 1 Vocational High School, giving at Adiwerna Nu 1 Vocational School in Tegal Regency, providing knowledge, understanding, and innovation on efficient engine stand overhauls according to operational standards procedure; (2) Speeding up the work when the engine stand overhaul practices in competency subjects overhaul the engine with the SOP tool so as to make students competent in their performance practices.

Indonesian demographic premium with profile of productive age dominated by general high school graduates negatively affects national productivity levels. As an institution that produces skilled labour, vocational schools should be an institution that is expected to be a solution to increase labour productivity. As a government strategy to overcome these problems, the Presidential Instruction No. 09 of 2016 to revitalise the vocational school aimed at improving the competence of Vocational High School graduates. The study uses a mixed method with document analysis, interviews and also questionnaires, the results of this study explain that the Vocational High School in Indonesian does not meet the standard of the industry. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that this study is in line with the expected results.

Community Service Activities in the form of Mental Health Therapy Training for Adolescents is one form of community service in the form of seminars aimed at conveying opinions or something new to participants, namely BK and teachers of Vocational High School in Sidoarjo with the hope that participants will get something new to be developed to become one thing that is broader about mental health therapy in adolescents. The activity was carried out on April 7, 2021 at the Health Polytechnic of Kerta Cendekia, Sidoarjo with the target being BK teachers at the Senior High School and Vocational High School levels in Sidoarjo. Before the activity was carried out, there was a process of preparing activities for 3 weeks before the activity was carried out, starting from the selection of extension materials to submission to related parties. As an evaluation, the activity was attended by BK teachers at the Senior High School and Vocational High School in Sidoarjo. Participants participated in these activities with enthusiasm and conducive, the activities can be carried out on time smoothly.

The purpose of this study was to determine of the competitiveness of vocational high school graduates towards learning outcome in Central Lombok Regency. This study uses a quantitative research approach with a research model that has been implemented by Bikse. The method used in this study is a survey. The population in this study were graduates from four Vocational Schools in Central Lombok Regency consisting of 2 State Vocational Schools namely: Vocational High School 1 of Praya Barat and Vocational High School 1 of Central Praya and 2 private Vocational Schools namely Tastura AZ-zikro Mangkung Vocational School and Al-Makrif Islamic Vocational School totaling 430 person. The study sample was 207 as obtained by using the proportional stratifaid random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was adapted from a questionnaire developed by Bikse. Data analysis techniques in this study used inferential statistics. The results showed that vocational school graduates in Central Lombok Regency had competitiveness and competitiveness of Vocational High School graduates in Central Lombok Regency had been quite good even though the expectations of graduates were greater than the reality faced today:Key Words: Competitiveness; vocational high school graduates

This study dealt with the development of English Reading Materials of vocational school, Al-WashliyahTeladan Medan, majoring Software Engineering. The objectives of this study were to: 1) find out language skill and materials are needed by the students of Software Engineering, 2) develop the English materials for the majoring in software engineering students at the vocational high school grade XII. This study was conducted by Educational Research and Development R&D (Borg & Gall, 1989). The data of this research were from existing documents and the result of interview with teacher and student. The results of the research conveyed that the existing reading materials were mostly irrelevant because the title and content of the material was not appropriate and was not required for the students majoring in software engineering. The new English reading materials and syllabus were developed based on the students need related to the workplace. The materials and syllabus were developed from the existing materials from teacher. The developing materials were validated by two experts.

This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of family environment, peers, and learning achievement on the interest in continuing education to higher education in the XI class of accounting skills competencies in Padang City Vocational School simultaneously and partially. There are two Vocational Schools namely Padang State Vocational High School 2 and Padang State Vocational High School 3. This means that the population in this study was all students of class XI Accounting of Vocational Schools 2 Padang, amounting to 121 people and Vocational Schools 3 Padang totaling 83 people. From a total of 204 populations, the sampling method used was proportional random sampling technique with a total sample of 127 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. For data analysis methods used are descriptive and associative analysis and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there were influences on the family environment, peers, and learning achievement towards the interest in continuing to higher education simultaneously at 24.8%. Partially the family environment influences the interest in continuing to higher education. Whereas peers do not influence the interest in continuing their education to college. Likewise, for learning achievement does not affect the interest in continuing to higher education.Keyword: family environment, peers, learning achievement

Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 4 Kota Jambi is one of the favorite vocational schools in Jambi City which is also the only pure tourism vocational school in Jambi Province. SMK Negeri 4 Kota Jambi has several vocational majors, namely culinary, beauty, fashion and hospitality. In general, students who choose to attend vocational schools have the hope of being able to work immediately after graduating from school, they do not need to continue to study to be able to work. In this study, researchers will predict the level of acceptance of students from SMK Negeri 4 Kota Jambi in the business and industrial world using the Monte Carlo method. Monte Carlo is a method that can find values ​​that are close to the actual value of events that will occur based on the distribution of sampling data. The technique of this method is to select random numbers from the probability distribution to perform the simulation. The data used in this study is the data of students from SMK Negeri 4 Kota Jambi who worked from the 2015/2016 Academic Year to the 2018/2019 Academic Year. Furthermore, the data will be processed using the Monte Carlo method. The simulation will be implemented using PHP programming. The result of this research is the level of prediction accuracy of students of SMK Negeri 4 Kota Jambi who are accepted in the business and industrial world using the Monte Carlo method is 84%.

High school in Indonesia has two types, specifically senior high schools and vocational schools (SMK). Vocational high schools in Indonesia have a lot of education focus which aims to provide education to their students so they can work immediately. One of the vocational schools in Indonesia is the Tangerang 4 Vocational High School which focuses on education in engineering. One of the engineering scopes at SMK Negeri 4 Tangerang is "Drawing Technique for Building" (Teknik Gambar Bangunan). "Drawing Technique for Building" is a vocational class that specializes in learning how to draw techniques for houses and buildings. As vocational students of "Building Drawing Technique", each student must learn how to draw techniques according to ISO standards complete with various etiquettes in manually, after proficient in drawing manually, students must learn AutoCAD, an software for drawing because this becomes the main competency as students "Building Drawing Techniques". To increase the capacity and capabilities of its students at SMK 4 Tangerang, the Budi Luhur University Architecture Study Program introduces one of the software related to building drawing The software introduced in Revit Architecture version 2013. Revit Architecture 2013 is a software that aims to create building construction designs for architects and supports the concept of BIM (Building Information Modeling). The output of this socialization is that students of SMK Negeri 4 Tangerang understanding about software for drawing techniques other than AutoCAD and various conveniences when drawing with Revit Architecture 2013 software

ABSTRACT: Vocational School is one of the educational unit level institutions, whose role is to create qualified and competent human resources in their fields for the needs of the business and industry. Unfortunately, the needs of the business and industry for a competent workforce still cannot be met, because the quality of the existing Vocational Schools is still lacking. The purpose of this study is to analyze the optimization of the absorption of vocational graduates needed by the business and industry world in an effort to achieve a balance of the labour market in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. This study was using a qualitative approach with secondary and primary data analysis methods. This research was conducted in East Java Province in 2018, by holding discussions with Vocational Schools, Companies, and the East Java Provincial Education Office. The results of this study are required for the integration process of the three educational institutions (vocational, courses, and training), which organize vocational education into three things, namely: sharing resources; integrating the learning process; and equalizing minimum service standards.KEY WORD: Vocational; Labour; Industrial Revolution 4.0. ABSTRAKSI: “Mengoptimalkan Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja Lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan untuk Mempersiapkan Era Revolusi Industri 4.0”. Sekolah Kejuruan adalah salah satu lembaga tingkat unit pendidikan yang berperan untuk menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan kompeten di bidangnya untuk kebutuhan bisnis dan industri. Sayangnya, kebutuhan bisnis dan industri untuk tenaga kerja yang kompeten masih belum dapat dipenuhi, karena kualitas Sekolah Kejuruan yang ada masih kurang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis optimalisasi penyerapan lulusan kejuruan yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia usaha dan industri dalam upaya untuk mencapai keseimbangan pasar tenaga kerja di era revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis data sekunder dan primer. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Provinsi Jawa Timur pada tahun 2018, dengan mengadakan diskusi dengan Sekolah Kejuruan, Perusahaan, dan Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Timur. Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Muhammadiyah Cileungsi has the duty of the College Dharma Chess which includes education and teaching activities, research and community service, and AIKA and Al-Islam. The purpose of this research is to teach writing methods to teachers, to facilitate teaching and learning. The method used in this research are identification of the problem, conduct a field survey, finding material, and direct training  to representatives of each high school / vocational school teachers. In this training participants were given the easiest writing method. From telling great writers in life in the world, where they can exist in writing. Then the participants were asked to write an article to get used to writing. After the end of the activity, participants are asked to share in the group or discuss directly with the speaker, so that the writing that has been made can be immediately reviewed. Solutions in writing training, taking the time to write, and frequent discussions with people who often write. The result of this research is the teachers know writing techniques to develop teaching activity in the classroom.

Classroom Action Research is one effort that can be done by professional teachers in improving the quality of learning. The purpose of community service is to improve teachers' understanding in understanding PTK and can carry out PTK. This activity is intended for math teachers who are members of MGMP in High School. The form of service activities carried out in this activity is in the form of material delivery, practice of making proposals and consulting tasks. The workshop activity was attended by 30 high school mathematics teachers in Solok City. The results of this activity manifested 30 class Action research proposals.Keywords: PTK, MGMP, Mathematics Teachers.�AbstrakPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru profesional dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk menigkatkan pemahaman guru dalam memahami PTK serta dapat melaksanakan PTK. Kegiatan ini diperuntukan bagi guru-guru matematika yang tergabung dalam MGMP SMA Kota Solok.
