Emergency medicine is life saving, so emergency management is important to improve emergency services. The implementation of emergency pharmaceutical logistics management must use an effective, coordinated and multidisciplinary process. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of suitability of emergency trolley management and the type of emergency pharmacy logistics with the highest frequency percentage of using emergency trolleys in the ICU room of RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. This research is a non-experimental descriptive study, data were collected prospectively using observation sheets based on SPO and use sheets for emergency pharmacy logistics in the ICU room at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. The population and sample of this study were all observation data of emergency trolley management in the ICU Room. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique all populations as samples. Data analysis was performed by calculating the percentage of suitability and the data were presented in tabular form. The results showed that the overall percentage of suitability for emergency trolley on SPO was 43.4% and 56.6% unsuitable. The highest frequency of use of emergency drugs was Vascon (norefinephrine) 73.33%, while the highest medical equipment was at Surflo 20,22,24 86.67% and Spuit NGT 50cc / Spuit 50cc 86.67%.

Introduction: Several nursing implementations do not match with nursing intervention classification. This situation requires further study to prove it. This study aims to describe nursing implementations on tuberculosis patients with airway clearance ineffective and imbalance nutrition: less than body requirement. Methods: This study was a quantitative observational descriptive study. Data were collected by observing nursing implementation documentations during two months. The research variable was nursing implementation in pulmonary tuberculosis patients. The sampling technique was purposive sampling.Results: Most of the implementation carried out by nurses in the diagnosis of ineffective airway clearance was providing oxygen (58.1%) and the second order was recommending sputum in the pot (10,5%). Most nursing implementation in diagnosis imbalance nutrition: less than body required was to educate the diet (85.7%), and the smallest is to recommend eating that is not spicy (1.2%). Conclusion: The most implementation that nurses do to overcome the diagnosis of ineffective airway clearance was giving oxygen to the patient. While the most implementation that nurses do in diagnosis imbalance nutrition: less than body required was educate the patient's diet. Interventions carried out by nurses are activities of the intervention, not nursing interventions. Further studies are required to improve nurses’ skills to implement according to standards.

Present study aims to explore English loanwords into Dhani dialect of Punjabi language. It focuses on which English words have been borrowed and what kind of phonological adaptations they undergo. It is a qualitative and descriptive study. Data were collected through recordings from thirty participants engaged in general conversation in real life situations in Chakwal district of Rawalpindi Division, Punjab province, Pakistan. Participants were selected through simple random sampling technique. Results retrieved from analysis of the collected data show that English loanwords undergo different phonological strategies i-e substitution, addition, epenthesis and deletion. Substitution is the most prominent whereas deletion is the least prominent of all strategies. Analysis also highlights educational implication of the study.

ABSTRACT Introduction Dentists’ knowledge and attitudes toward oral health concern provides the structure for their professional work and should be able to convey evidence-based knowledge of oral healthcare to the community. The delivery of safe and appropriate care and instructions to patients is of prime importance to dental professionals. Materials and methods A cross-sectional study was conducted for analysis of attitude and practice toward delivering of postoperative instructions by undergraduates and trainees. A cluster sampling technique was used and 220 forms were distributed in five dental institutes of Karachi. Two hundred forms were fully filled and returned. Students of final year and house surgeons were included in the study. Data were statistically analyzed for frequencies and percentages with Chi-square test using SPSS version 19. Results The result of the present study reported that 124 (62%) of the respondents informed the patients that how long the anesthesia will last and numbing wears off. One hundred and eleven (55.5%) of the respondents delivered verbal postoperative instructions after amalgam restoration and 127 (63.5%) after composite restorations. One hundred and thirty-one (65.5%) of the respondents informed patients about temporary filling materials. One hundred and twenty-two (61%) of the respondents delivered the verbal instructions after placing a post or doing core build-ups. Ninety-nine (49.5%) of the respondents verbally explained the importance of full coverage crown. Conclusion The present study concluded that majority of the students and trainees are lacking in uttering the required postoperative instructions after restorative treatment. Conflict is an attempt to achieve a certain value, status, and authority for a specific benefit as well as to defeat the opponent. The backgrounds of the study were the cause of conflict between the society and the corporate, the form of conflict between the society and the corporate, and the conflict resolution model. This study aims at finding out what caused the conflict between the corporate and the community around Badek river area, the types of conflict occurred, and conflict resolution models. This study applies the qualitative approach and is in the form of descriptive study. This study was conducted in Malang, the urban village of Sukun, Ciptomulyo sub-district. This study used purposive sampling technique to determine the subject of the study. Data collecting technique was by the observation, interview, and documentation. The theory employed in this study is the theory of conflict from Ralf Dahrendorf. The result of the study shows that the conflict between society and corporate arises because of the company’s production waste pollutes the river in the environment where the community lives. The forms of conflict exist are realistic, in-group, open conflict, conflict among different classes, conflict of interest; the conflict resolution model is by using mediation with a compensation mechanism to achieve a win-win solution.

The passing of B.J. Habibie is identified as a form of utterance about the existence of interreligious tolerance in Indonesia. Interreligious is intersected with each other in upholding the value of tolerance as manifestation of a sense of Bhineka Tunggal Ika. The research aims to identify the value of tolerance based on potential diversities among interreligious in condolence-expressions. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data are from Warganet expressions which contain tolerance value. Collecting data uses purposive sampling technique. Data sources are taken from Warganet expressions on Twitter and Instagram. Analyzing data method uses distribution method with markup reading techniques and the equivalent method with referential equivalence technique that refers to the meaning outside of language. The result of this research is that interreligious tolerance is contained in the condolence-expressions in the form of expressions of religious, affection and kinship, and general.

Self-stigma experienced by people who experience schizophrenia has influence on reduced self-esteem, on powerlessness, the weakening of hope, and a motivation towards recovery. The aim of this study is to explain the efforts of people suffering schizophrenia to manage their self-stigma through self-control, using a case study approach. Based on the purposive sampling technique, five people with schizophrenia were selected as the cases to be studied. Data collection techniques utilized in-depth interviews, observation, and documentary studies. The analysis of the study data employed the stages of data reduction, data display, and data verification. Improvement in study quality employed the triangulation of data sources by checking the data to determine its consistency. The results of this study indicate that people with schizophrenia who have the ability to self-control can overcome self-stigma through changes in the manner of viewing themselves, self-training through activities, having endurance, having an honest approach, being able to explain schizophrenia from a positive viewpoint, having initiative, and having a positive attitude and the courage to face challenges.

This study is aimed to describe the implementation of learning history in high school equivalency programs. This study uses the descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected by interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis technique use qualitative analysis inductive models with purposive sampling technique. The results of this study are: first, planning learning history in high school equivalency program started from In-House Training for educators in high school equivalency program which practiced in the preparation of the learning device are appropriate to the curriculum; second, the implementation of learning history in high school equivalency program involves three patterns of learning consisting of 20% face-to-face interaction, 30% tutorials, and 50% independent activity; third, constraints in the implementation is the readiness of learners in receiving learning materials, learning infrastructure, and the competence of educators in conveying the teaching of history; fourth, evaluation of learning history in high school equivalency program is equal to the formal school.

During menstruation blood vessels in the uterus are very easily infected because germs easily enter and cause diseases of the reproductive tract. Some of the most common disorders are vaginal discharge and pruritus vulvae (vaginal itching). However, this complaint can be prevented by maintaining the cleanliness of the female organs early on, namely with good menstrual personal hygiene. This study aims to describe the level of personal hygiene knowledge about menstruation. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach, with a total sample of 90 people taken by total sampling technique. The results showed that the majority of respondents had enough personal hygiene behavior as many as 82 people (91.1%), while good menstrual personal hygiene behavior was 3 people (3.3%), and respondents who had behaviors classified as less than 5 people ( 5.6%). Based on complaints on reproductive organs, respondents who experienced vaginal discharge were 85 people (94.4%) and itching around the genitals was around 83 people (92.2%).

Introduction: The doctor-patient relationship is based on good quality of communication and interaction with thepatient, so that it not only can help speed up the healing process, but also make the patient feel comfortable sincethe first visit to the health service. When dealing with pediatric patients, the ability to build a relationship of mutualtrust is done with a more open, honest attitude and understanding what they are feeling. Aim of study: This studyaims to see a real picture of the relationships, interactions and interpersonal communication between doctors andpatients in health care. Method: This study uses a qualitative descriptive study where data is obtained throughinterview transcripts, field observation data notes and photo documentation. A total of 7 participants were obtainedthrough a purposive sampling technique on pediatricians who are accustomed to engaging in effective relationships,interactions and communication with pediatric patients, families and introductors. Data were then analyzed usingthe Miles and Huberman method. Results and Discussions: The results of this study indicate 66.67% of parents orfamily members have smoking habits around children and 66.67% smoke when gathering with family. Most parentsor family members have the habit of opening windows as much as 75.76% of people. The results of bivariateanalysis showed that there was no relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of unde r-fivepneumonia (p = 0.732) and there was a relationship between smoking behavior and under-five pneumonia events (p= 0.021). Besides, smoking behavior at home can increase the incidence of pneumonia in toddlers. Conclusions:Therefore it is necessary to increase family awareness so as not to smoke near children.

An operation theatre is any facility within a hospital domain where the surgical procedures are carried out in a strict sterile cosmos. Management of the operation theatre requires the coordination of humane and material resources in such a way that surgery can be performed safely, efficiently and cost effectively.Objective: To identify the difficulties in coordination of operating room management and find out their solutions for better patient outcomes. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted in Main Operation Theatre of Children Hospital and Institute of Child Health Lahore. Data was collected by using Convenient Sampling Technique. This was a hospital-based study in which staff members of both genders were included. The study population divided into four strata; doctors (surgeons and anesthetists), nurses, operation theatre technicians and anesthesia technicians. A total of 51 cases were observed and checked by a checklist about coordination diffculties in the management of operation theatre. Results: A total of 51 cases were studied to determine the difficulties in management of operation theatre. 25.22% cases showed difficulty in proper management of Operation Theater. This result showed that there are still some difficulties like insufficient and old equipments, absence of proper sterilization, lack of proper leadership, work overload, no quality check of equipments, no teaching program, and unpunctuality of staff, improper timing and organization in the operation theater. Conclusions: There are many difficulties in management of operation theatre regarding staff members, equipments, timings and sterilization. A proper leadership and organization can sort out these problems.
