Blending technology and education is considered a strategy to obtain various benefits, among which one of the most prominent has been enhancing students' engagement. The implementation of hybrid education at university is a clear example of this combination. Thus, considering the relevance of the theme, mainly in the modern world, the purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the contributions of hybrid teaching to the student's learning process in higher education. To this end, a qualitative research was conducted, through in-depth interviews at a private, community, confessional, and philanthropic university in Brazil. The data obtained was processed using the content analysis method, and the following contributions to the students' learning process were verified: flexibility of time, space and pace; greater retention of the content, which is available on the online platform; autonomy and constant updating in the face of changes in the modern world and better performance in terms of grades.

This study aims to describe the form of the religious day celebrations of Malay society across religions and the meaning of commemorating them in educational institutions. This field research uses a qualitative research approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, participant level observation and documentation. The results of the study describe that the form of religious day commemoration activities in SMPN 2 Arut Selatan are grouped into two, namely: commemoration of religious days which are commemorated based on certain moments, for instance are maulid of the Prophet Muhammad, Isra Mi'raj, and celebrations to welcome the Islamic New Year (Islam), Christmas and Easter (Christian Protestant and Catholic); and routine religious activities, for example is prayer with each of the followers of interfaith religions. Furthermore, the meanings of the religious days celebration are grouped into three views, trere are; as the obligation/ necessity of the learning process, empirical religion and individual's religion; as a culture / habit that becomes a system at school; as a requirement for the implementation of religious practices; and as a culture related to the commemoration of religious days.

Relatar a vivência docente e discente e suas percepções sobre o ensino remoto na enfermagem frente à pandemia da COVID-19. Trata-se de um relato de experiência a respeito do ensino remoto emergencial, experienciado por discentes e docentes do curso superior de enfermagem em meio a pandemia pela COVID-19. A forma de adesão das aulas remotas deu-se mediante a plataformas digitais de acesso on-line com a criação de ambientes de sala de aula por chamadas de vídeo em tempo real. A modalidade de ensino remoto trouxe consigo aspectos positivos bem como desafios importantes acerca do processo de aprendizagem em enfermagem. A experiência com o ensino remoto em meio a pandemia do COVID-19 tem demonstrado inúmeros desafios para formação do enfermeiro, porém é considerada uma alternativa temporária de caráter emergencial eficaz para minimização de danos sociais e educacionais no período crítico atual.Descritores: Educação em Enfermagem, Enfermagem, Ensino, Pandemias. Remote teaching in nursing among the covid-19 pandemicAbstract: To report the teaching and student experience and their perceptions about remote teaching in nursing in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an experience report about emergency remote education, experienced by students and professors of higher education in the midst of a pandemic by COVID-19. The form of adherence to remote classes took place through digital platforms for online access with the creation of classroom environments by video calls in real time. The remote teaching modality brought with it positive aspects as well as important challenges regarding the learning process in nursing. This paper examines the changing landscape of higher education from the perspective of teaching academics. Critical thinking has been seen as one of the central facets of the academic identity and so this paper uses the notion of critical thinking as a lens through which to explore this changing identity. It argues that the professional identity of the academic is in a state of flux, which has caused uncertainty regarding the academic role, its freedoms and responsibilities. The particular focus here is on teaching and the changes occurring in this arena. The paper reports the findings of a qualitative study based on in-depth interviews with academic staff across five disciplines from two Australian universities. In the modern university, the pressures of accountability to a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, are changing the face of university teaching.

<em>This study aims to know whether the character of the entrepreneurial spirit of Ciputra University students which is expected to be the factor in being a successful enterprenour in the future, is influenced by parent who has a career as an independent enterprenour.  The population of the study is students who have completed a minimum of two year study, have  a sustainable business project at the time being, and have parents as family business entrepreneur. This is an exploratory qualitative research done by conducting in-depth interviews to students who become informants. Results from this study indicated that the character of the entrepreneurial spirit in the students themselves can be formed through an educational process, and also through action and the way of thought from parents in running the business. Character of entrepreneurial spirit is professionally sharpened the students in learning process at Ciputra University which is based on entrepreneurship.</em>

This study concerned with the teacher�s strategies in learning speaking English. This research is focused on how the teacher overcomes the students� weaknesses in learning speaking English when implementing Time Token Arends method. By using a descriptive qualitative research within a teacher of MA Al-Bairuny as a subject of its research found that: (1) the student had difficulty in inhibition such as: difficulty in starting to speak because of being worried of making mistakes, difficulty in answering the question from the teacher, and they felt nervous and shy to speak in front of the class. (1) The teacher used �Look in the Face� strategy to overcome the difficulties; (2) the teacher used �Communication� strategies to overcome the students� difficulties in nothing to say, such as: students had no idea to speak, student got difficulty to express what he wanted to speak, and student had no bravery to express their thought; (3) the teacher used �Interdependence� strategies to overcome the students� difficulties in un-event participant; (4) the teacher used �Responsibility� strategies to overcome students� difficulties in mother tongue used, such as: students felt easier for communication each other using Java Language, so they ignored the teacher�s instruction for speaking English; (5) then, after the learning process, teacher made a schedule for this group to evaluate their teamwork process in order to give them motivation and evaluation. Thus, the students� improvement on their speaking skill has been the aim of the research.

Rapidly technological advancements have led to the emergence of a disruptive era, namely the innovation theory that was initiated by newcumbent, the publication of which threatened incumbent. The effect of this disruptive is a fundamentally significant and widespread technological innovation that changes the way human relations in various heresies is no exception to higher education. When viewed from a quantitative perspective, the growth is quite severe. However, if it is related to its quality, its development is worrying. Therefore, higher education must compete to change the learning system by following disruptive patterns in order to improve the quality of learning that will improve the quality of human resources. In this study there are 2 (two) methods, The results of this study present the readiness of Raharja University in the face of the disruptive era through iLearning. Where in the learning process includes 3 (three) things, called Rinfo, iDu and iMe.With this learning method, students become more innovative and critical thinking.

AbstractThis study aims to determine batik craftsmen‘s innovation needs and learning process in relation to ownership of social capital. This study is stimulated by an assumption explaining that batik craftsmen’s are able to fulfill their innovation needs through learning process by utilizing established social capital in the batik production context. This qualitative research was conducted on three batik craft SMEs in two sub-districts in Bantul Regency, the center of Yogyakarta's batik production. The research subjects were craftsmen, workers, batik organizers, and community leaders. Data collection is conducted through observation and in-depth interviews. Meanwhile the data were analyzed by using qualitative analysis techniques. The research result reveals that the SMEs of batik craftsmen have diverse innovation needs in expanding their business. Moreover, to fulfill their innovation needs, they also conducted both independent and cooperative learning by utilizing the existing social capital. Yet, the learning process has not been optimally conducted. Thus, empowerment efforts are necessary to develop learning skills by utilizing social capital to meet craftsmen’s innovation needs. Keywords: social capital, learning process, innovation, batik, needsKebutuhan Inovasi, Modal Sosial, dan Proses Belajar Perajin BatikAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan inovasi dan proses belajar para perajin batik dalam konteks kepemilikan modal sosial. Hal ini didasarkan pada pandangan bahwa kebutuhan inovasi dapat dipenuhi apabila para perajin dapat memanfaatkan modal sosial yang terbangun dalam konteks usaha produksi batik melalui proses belajar yang mungkin terjadi di dalamnya. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan terhadap tiga UKM perajin batik di dua kecamatan di Kabupaten Bantul sebagai sentra produksi batik Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah para perajin, pekerja, pengurus paguyuban batik, dan tokoh masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam dan data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perajin batik memiliki kebutuhan inovasi yang beragam dalam mengembangkan usahanya dan melakukan proses belajar baik secara mandiri maupun kooperatif dengan memanfaatkan modal sosial sebagai hasil interaksi dengan lingkungannya guna memenuhi kebutuhan inovasinya walaupun belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan tindakan-tindakan pemberdayaan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar dengan memanfaatkan modal sosial guna memenuhi kebutuhan inovasi perajin. Kata kunci: modal sosial, proses belajar, inovasi, batik, kebutuhan

This article provides an analysis of the perception of fear in nightlife spaces, its relationship with sexual violence and the strategies that young people implement to combat these situations in two provinces of Andalusia (Seville and Granada), Spain. To this end, qualitative research was carried out through in-depth interviews and discussion groups with 73 boys and girls between the ages of 16 and 22. The article asserts that there are gender differences in the spaces of fear. Girls are the ones who experience fear the most when they walk alone, and at specific times – a feeling that is made worse in specific public spaces. The study results show that girls’ fear is associated with sexual assault and boys’ fear with robberies or fights. Results show that three main types of strategies are used in the face of these fears: avoidance, confronting risks and empowerment. All these strategies include the use of new communication technologies. This article seeks to provide a theoretical contribution to enhancing a gender perspective in the field of urban geography.

KTSP curriculum changed into the 2013 curriculum making the assessment of students no longer only focus on cognitive aspects, but also focused on the process of character building during the learning process. This study aims to describe the process of internalizing character values ​​in mathematics learning at MAN Insan Cendekia school in Jambi in the context of the 2013 curriculum. Descriptive qualitative research methods is employed to describe the internalization process through the provision of questionnaire instruments with closed questions, observation in the mathematics learning process, and in-depth interviews. The internalization process of character values in each study is a significant way of shaping the character of each student, strengthening the 2013 curriculum which emphasizes soft skills is a guideline that must be done by each teacher in the learning process in the classroom. The results of the study explained that the subject of the study carried out an internalization process of character values by accepting and carrying out the tasks given by the teacher with the basics of philosophical understanding that was used during the learning process of mathematics.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the character education in the Pancasila subject for STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau Students. How is character education integrated in the learning process contained in the values of Pancasila. Its application for the world of education in higher education is through Lecturers who teach the Pancasila course. The research method used is a qualitative description method. The instrument used in this study was direct observation in the field. Researchers in this qualitative research are lecturers in the Pancasila subject at STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Results and discussion, namely: 1) Character and Local Wisdom is a character as an Indonesian human being built through ethical values that come from local wisdom on elements of religion, state philosophy, and culture. Becoming a multicultural nation is a gift and continues to be an Indonesian man with noble character and character, 2) Character Education in the Pancasila Course for STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau Students, namely the campus as an educational institution is a place to develop themselves and also form good character. Through the Pancasila course, character education can be applied from this.It should also be explained that the Pancasila course must be taken as the essence of strengthening the character and local wisdom of the nation. The implementation of character education in Pancasila courses must also be applied in campus activities as well as in positive activities in the general public. Lecturers who teach Pancasila courses must be really able to practice the values contained in every material they teach. The application of character education will later leave an impression on students to become students who are smart, have broad insight, and have a love for the country and the nation. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendidikan karakter pada mata kuliah Pancasila Mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Bagaimana pendidikan karakter yang menyatu dalam proses pembelajaran yang terkandung didalam nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penerapanya bagi dunia pendidikan di perguruan tinggi melalui Dosen pengampu mata kuliah Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi kualitatif. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa pengamatan secara langsung dilapangan. Peneliti dalam penelitian kualitatif ini adalah sebagai Dosen pengampu mata kuliah Pancasila di STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Hasil dan pembahasan, yaitu: 1) Karakter dan Kearifan Lokal adalah Karakter sebagai manusia Indonesia dibangun melalui nilai-nilai etika yang bersumber dari kearifan lokal atas unsur agama, filsafat negara, dan budaya. Menjadi sebuah bangsa yang multikulutural adalah sebuah anugerah dan tetap menjadi manusia Indonesia yang berkarakter dan berbudi pekerti yang luhur, 2) Pendidikan Karakter Pada Mata Kuliah Pancasila Mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau, yaitu Kampus sebagai lembaga pendidikan merupakan tempat mengembangkan diri dan juga membentuk karakter yang baik. Melalui mata kuliah Pancasila, pendidikan karakter dapat diterapkan dari hal tersebut. Perlu juga dijelaskan bahwa mata kuliah Pancasila harus diambil inti sarinya sebagai penguatan karakter dan kearifan lokal bangsa. Penerapan pendidikan karakter mata kuliah Pancasila juga harus diaplikasikan dalam kegiatan-kegiatan kampus maupun kegiatan yang positif di lingkungan masyarakat umum. Dosen pengampu mata kuliah Pancasila harus benar-benar mampu mengamalkan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam setiap materi yang diajarkannya. Penerapan pendidikan karakter nantinya akan membekas dalam diri mahasiswa untuk menjadi mahasiswa yang cerdas, berwawasan luas, dan memiliki rasa cinta tanah air dan bangsa.
