Oil and gas are important energy minerals and strategic resources. Moreover, as their substitute, oil shale is the non-renewable fossil fuel resource. In this paper, regarding the oil shale of Huadian in Jilin Province as raw material, we made a research on the approaches to extracting shale oil from oil shale as well as an experimental determination on the impact of heating temperature, shale grain size and holding time.

Currently, under the conditions of increasing depletion of hydrocarbon reserves in Russia, it is necessary to consider the resource potential of poorly-researched oil and gas objects as a factor for ensuring the sustainable development of the oil and gas complex, in the context of the concept formation of rational subsoil utilization and a circular economy. The methodology of this study is based on a clear sequence of geological and economic studies of poorly-researched oil and gas objects, including four stages, such as analysis of the raw material base, assessment of the raw material potential, determination of technological development parameters, and economic evaluation. The methods of the probabilistic estimation of oil resources of the forecasted objects with regard to geological risk are outlined. Software packages “EVA—Risk Analysis” and “EVA—Economic Evaluation of Oil and Gas Field Development Projects” were used for estimation. The result of the study is the determination of the geological and economic efficiency of the development of nine hydrocarbon objects with the determination of the order of their further geological exploration, and introduction into industrial development on the example of the poorly-researched region of the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province located in the Arctic zone.

The culinary industry is currently one of the best industries that are developing, this has become one of the economic supports in several regions. Based on the results of the economic census report of the Tasikmalaya City in 2016 the culinary industry in percentage and number of positions was in the third position followed by the large trade industry which occupied the first position and the processing industry in the second position. This study aims to determine the impact of changes in raw material costs lucratively on the selling price determination of chicken porridge in MSMEs at the City of Tasikmalaya. The population in this study were all MSMEs chicken porridge entrepreneurs totaling 261 units, while the method used in this study was a survey method with a quantitative approach presented descriptively. The result of this study is that changes in raw material costs have an impact of 89.2% on the determination of the selling price of chicken porridge. In fact, this is clearly illustrated by the chicken porridge activists who prefer to set the selling price using a mixed method based on market costs and demand. This is because there is a concern from chicken porridge activists for the risks that they will get such as decreasing sales and automatically reducing their revenue streams.

The world oil market is changing rapidly, there rises a new global center of world oil production – North America, which production opportunities are estimated by experts as outperforming those of Middle East. This is made possible thanks to inception of commercial oil production from oil shale in North America. The article deals with the problems and prospects of the development of shale oil in the U.S. and the impact of the growth of its production on the configuration of the world oil market.

Oil vanadylporphyrin complexes were obtained by extraction in the presence of N-N-dimethylformamide. In the chromatographic separation of vanadylporphyrin complexes, four main fractions were obtained from the oils of the oil field “North Buzachi” , where all types of known oil porphyrin structures were identified, dominated by deoxophylloerythroethioporphyrin – types with two absorption maxima of 534 Nm and 573 nm. It was found that the total concentration of vanadylporphyrin complexes registered in the absorption zone of 534 nm and 573 nm is 11 times higher than the concentration of nickelporphyrin complexes characteristic of the absorption zone of 550 nm. The ratio of vanadylporphirins of the etio - and deoxo-phylloerythroethioporphyrin (DPEP) type was 0.11. The results of the research allow us to conclude that the oil of the “North Buzachi” oil and gas district is a promising raw material for obtaining vanadylporphyrin complexes.

The significant resource potential of the Arctic has attracted the attention of its adjacent countries and extra-regional states. The mineral and raw material base of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) comprises a wide range of minerals. However, due to its hydrocarbon reserves, the Arctic is considered to be the most important geopolitical and geo-economic macro-region for Russia. A significant portion of the Arctic hydrocarbons (about 19%) is concentrated in the territory of Russia’s shelf. The extraction of Arctic marine oil and gas resources and ensuring the sustainability of the Russian energy complex depend significantly on the level of Arctic development. Thus, the pace and quality of the development of AZRF are strategically important to ensure the national interests of the country. It has been proven that the implementation of the state program for AZRF development and strategic plans of the largest companies operating in the region consolidate the raw material nature of AZRF development. Rent becomes the main form of income. This article addresses the main directions of the region’s development and the factors that prevent a high level of industrialization, which increase attention to the withdrawal and redistribution of rental income. The article considers the Russian and foreign experiences of withdrawal and redistribution of oil and gas rental income, and analyzes the level of socio-economic development of AZRF. The authors suggest a methodology for assessing the impact of a country’s area and population size on the ability to achieve a high income due to hydrocarbons. The authors also explain the principles of rental income redistribution in the region as a basis for improving the level of AZRF’s socio-economic development and as a condition for transition from the “colonial model” of development to the “sustainable development” model. The study results can be used to elaborate a mechanism for rental income redistribution in AZRF and state programs for the region’s development.

Tourism is one of the sectors that the government relies on to earn foreign exchange from non-oil and gas income. The impact of tourism development on economic development is so large that special attention is needed. The problem in tourism objects in Rengat Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency which is the main focus in this research is the lack of marketing services to a weak service system and the promotion of attractions that are still felt to be lacking. The results of this study indicate that market opportunity analysis will determine the next step, namely the determination of strategic service concepts that are translated into market positioning and implemented in the service marketing concept. And Indragiri Hulu Regency which actually has been supported by natural conditions and potential tourism environment. Promotional mix is one component of the marketing mix that plays an important role in the process of achieving the expected goals, namely to introduce, inform, persuade and influence prospective tourists to visit and keep tourists always remembering and desiring to make a return visit to Rengat City with tourism objects which exists.

This article examines the environmental problems of the oil and gas sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The authors emphasize that for many decades the oil fields of Kazakhstan have developed mainly a raw material management system with extremely high technogenic loads on the environment. It is noted that for Kazakstani economy, oil and gas production and especially their export play a key role in generating income and growth within the gross product. At the same time, the authors point out that the impact of the oil and gas field on the environment in recent years has been characterized by its intensity, diversity and significant scale. The issue of developing new hydrocarbon raw materials deposits is considered, which is accompanied by geological exploration, drilling and construction works, laying of pipelines and roads. The authors come to the conclusion that a strong anthropogenic impact on all components of the environment causes an active change in the chemical and physicochemical properties of the soil, disrupts the hydrological regime of territories, leads to impoverishment and changes in the species composition, structure and productivity of phytocenoses, a reduction in the spatial distribution and number of animal populations. In conclusion, the authors put forward a number of fundamental tasks for solving environmental problems of the industry.
