AbstractThe prevalence of smokers in Indonesia in adolescents aged 10-18 years in 2013 was 7.20% while in 2018 it was 9.10%, which means that there was an increase in the percentage of adolescent smokers by 1.9%. It is necessary to educate adolescents so that their knowledge about the dangers of smoking, prevention and control of the dangers of smoking can increase. The method used is Lecture and Discussion using educational video media and presentation of material using power point, the target of the activity is students at SMK Endang Darma Ayu, Indramayu Regency as many as 60 students. The arrangement of community service activities includes a welcome speech from the Student Affairs Section of Endang Darma Ayu Vocational School, introduction of the Community Service team from STIKes Indramayu, Pre Test, providing educational materials on how to prevent and control the dangers of smoking, discussion, post test, distribution of prizes. The results of the activity there was an increase in knowledge of 22.33%, the presentation during the pre test was 73.67% after being given education there was an increase in the post test score to 96%. It is necessary to carry out further community service activities by forming peer educators at SMK Endang Darma Ayu, Indramayu RegencyKeywords: Education; Prevention and Control; Danger of cigarette; Teenager AbstrakPrevalensi perokok di Indonesia pada remaja usia 10-18 tahun pada tahun 2013 sebesar 7,20% sedangkan pada tahun 2018 sebesar 9,10%, yang artinya terjadi peningkatan persentase perokok remaja sebesar 1,9%. Perlu dilakukan edukasi kepada remaja agar pengetahuan remaja tentang bahaya rokok, pencegahan dan pengendalian bahaya rokok dapat meningkat. Metode yang digunakan adalah Ceramah dan Diskusi dengan menggunakan media edukasi video dan penyajian materi menggunakan power point, sasaran kegiatan adalah siswa/siswi di SMK Endang Darma Ayu Kabupaten Indramayu sebanyak 60 siswa. Susunan acara kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi Sambutan dari Bagian Kesiswaan SMK Endang Darma Ayu, Perkenalan tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dari STIKes Indramayu, Pre Test, memberikan materi edukasi bagaimana pencegahan dan pengendalian bahaya rokok, diskusi, post test, pembagian hadiah. Hasil dari kegiatan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 22.33 % presentasi saat pre test adalah 73.67% setelah diberikan edukasi terjadi peninggakatan hasil nilai post test nya menjadi 96%. Perlu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat lebih lanjut dengan membentuk peer edukator di SMK Endang Darma Ayu Kabupaten Indramayu.Kata kunci: Edukasi; Pencegahan dan Pengendalian; Bahaya Rokok; Remaja

Abstrak: Praktik bullying ataupun kekerasan di sekolah masih sering terjadi hingga saat ini. Sudah banyak kasus Bullying yang terungkap dan bahkan menyebabkan kematian bagi korban. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang bullying dan cara pencegahannya. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan yaitu Penyuluhan kesehatan tentang bullying dan pencegahannya serta diskusi bersama. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, tanggal 08 Februari 2020 pukul 09.20-11.00 WITA. Peserta kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 1 Lelogama, Kecamatan Amfoang Selatan, Kabupaten Kupang kelas XI-XII. Peserta penyuluhan sebanyak 68 peserta. Penyuluhan Kesehatan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Pihak sekolah juga memberikan dukungan penuh dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa semakin bertambah terkait bullying dan cara pencegahannya, dibuktikan dari hasil pre-test dan post-test dimana terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 30% setelah diberikan penyuluhan. Perlu dilakukan pengabdian lanjutan dengan waktu yang lebih lama untuk advokasi aturan/kebijakan terkait pencegahan dan penanganan bullying di sekolah.Abstract: The practice of bullying or violence in schools was still common today. There have been many cases of bullying that have been revealed and have even caused death to victims. The purpose of this service was to provide knowledge and understanding to students about bullying and how to prevent it. The form of service activities carried out was health counseling about bullying and its prevention and discussion together. This community service activity was held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 09.20-11.00 WITA. The participants of this counseling activity were students of SMK Negeri 1 Lelogama, Amfoang Selatan District, Kupang Regency in class XI-XII. There were 68 extension participants. Health education can run well and smoothly. The school also provides full support in this service activityStudents' knowledge and understanding is increasing regarding bullying and how to prevent it, as evidenced by the results of the pre-test and post-test where there is an increase in knowledge of 30% after being given counseling. Further service needs to be done with a longer time for advocating for rules / policies related to the prevention and handling of bullying in schools.

PurposeThis paper aimed to review globally the empowerment programs for the prevention and control of smoking behavior among youths, to examine the role of empowerment in health promotion, to explore the stages of health promotion through community empowerment strategies including planning, implementation and evaluation. Finally, this paper will develop a model of youth empowerment to prevent and control smoking behavior that reflects theory and experience drawn from the literature.Design/methodology/approachThis review synthesized articles on community empowerment and health promotion, youth empowerment programs for tobacco prevention and control globally from books and electronic databases from the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) library in the publication period 2000–2020. Relevant literature was selected and critically reviewed which reflected the role empowerment in health promotion, stage of community empowerment strategy as described by Laverack and youth empowerment concept in tobacco control as described by Holden.FindingsDocuments that specifically discuss empowerment programs for smoking prevention and control are still limited. The findings document that youth empowerment in tobacco control do not fully integrate the theory empowerment as described by Laverack and Holden. This paper provides information about the stages of youth empowerment, and a conceptual framework of youth empowerment for the prevention and control of smoking behavior. Youth empowerment is done through the direct involvement of youth in programs starting from program design, planning, implementation and evaluation. Indicators of the success of the empowerment process are reflected in the increase in the empowerment domain. Meanwhile, the output of empowerment can be seen from the individual- or group-level changes.Originality/valueThis paper proposes a model of youth empowerment for the prevention and control of smoking behavior among youths based on theory and experience in the field.

Regional regulatory policies (RPs) are a major factor in the prevention and control of chronic diseases (PCCDs) through the implementation of various measures. This study aimed to explore the impacts of RPs on PCCDs, with a focus on the mediating roles of community service. The soundness of the regulatory mechanism (SORM) was used to measure the soundness of RPs based on 1095 policy documents (updated as of 2015). Coverage provided by community service institutions (CSIs) and community health centres (CHCs) was used to represent community service coverage derived from the China Statistical Yearbook (2015), while the number of chronic diseases (NCDs) was used to measure the effects of PCCDs based on data taken from the 2015 China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study survey. To assess the relationship between SORM, NCDs and community service, a negative binomial regression model and mediation analysis with bootstrapping were conducted. Results revealed that there was a negative correlation between SORM and NCDs. CSIs had a major effect on the relationship between RPs and PCCDs, while CHCs had a partial mediating effect. RPs can effectively prevent and control chronic diseases. Increased effort should also be aimed at strengthening the roles of CSIs and CHCs.

ABSTRAK The World Health Organization menetapkan outbreak SARS-CoV-2 sebagai Kedaruratan Kesehatan Masyarakat yang Meresahkan Dunia dan dinyatakan sebagai pandemik. Penyebaran dan penularan penyakit Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) sangat tinggi, dengan jumlah penderita lebih dari 117 juta di seluruh dunia. Diperlukan berbagai strategi dan tindakan yang dapat dilakukan untuk pencegahan, penanggulangan dalam rangka mengatasi COVID-19. Tujuan Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Stikes Achmad Yani adalah ikut berperan serta dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan COVID-19 di wilayah Kota Cimahi dan Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah partisipatori dalam berbagai aktifias pencegahan dan penanggulangan COVID-19. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilakukan selama pandemic COVID-19 diantaranya adalah demontrasi pembuatan handsanitizer, penyemprotan disinfektan, mengirimkan tim relawan pemeriksaan Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) antibodi Cluster Lembang dan relawan Check Point pada kegiatan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar di Kota Bandung. Pemberian donasi kepada masyarakat terdampak pandemik COVID-19 dan donasi Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) ke fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan seperti Rumah Sakit dan Puskesmas. Pelaksanaan Rapid Test Diagnostic (RTD) antibodi dan RTD antigen bagi mahasiswa, dosen dan Karyawan. Stikes Achmad Yani juga berperan serta dalam gebyar Vaksin COVID-19 bagi tenaga kesehatan dan mengirimkan relawan sebagai vaksinator yang diselenggarakan oleh Rumah Sakit Hasan Sadikin berkerjasama dengan PPNI. Partisipasi Stikes Achmad Yani Cimahi dalam berbagai kegiatan yang terkait dengan COVID-19 diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam rangka pencegahan penularan, pengendalian dan penanggulangan COVID-19. Kata Kunci: COVID-19, disinfeksi, relawan, Rapid Diagnostic Test  ABSTRACT The World Health Organization recognize the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak as a public health emergency of Internasional Concerns and declared it as a pandemic. The spread and transmission of Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) are very high and reported that over 117 million people have been sufferers worldwide. Several strategies and actions can be carried out to prevention, controlling and overcoming COVID-19. The purpose of community service carried out by Stikes Achmad Yani is to participate in the prevention and control of COVID-19 in Cimahi and Bandung district. The methode used in community services are participatory methods in several activities for prevention and control of COVID-19. Community Service activities carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic included demonstrations of making hand sanitizers, spraying disinfectants, sending a team of volunteers to examine the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) antibody for the Lembang Cluster, and volunteer Check Points at Large-Scale Social Restrictions activities in Bandung. Providing donations to people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to health service facilities such as hospitals and health centers. Implementation of Rapid Diagnostic Test (RTD) antibody and RDT antigen for students, lecturers, and staff. Stikes Achmad Yani also participated in the COVID-19 Vaccine for health workers and sent volunteers as vaccinators organized by Hasan Sadikin Hospital in collaboration with PPNI. The purpose of this community service is so that parents and children can understand the prevention and control of the spread of COVID-19 in children while utilizing 4M movements (washing hands, wearing masks, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds in the Indonesian language). The method used is health education and the practice of six steps to washing your hands. The results of this activity showed that children could understand and be interested in participating in health education on "prevention and control of the spread of COVID-19 to children by using 4M movements", and children and families are willing to implement protocols in their lives. The conclusion is that by implementing the 4M protocol in the family environment, we hope it can reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia

Food industry personnel, including coffee shops, do not have the opportunity to work from home and are required to continue working at work as usual. By holding outreach on food safety keeping all workers in food production and supply chains healthy and safe is critical to surviving the current pandemic. Maintaining the movement of food along the food chain is an important function that needs to be contributed by all stakeholders along the food chain. The purpose of this community service is to increase knowledge or information about food safety for food or beverage handlers so that coffee shops are better prepared to deal with COVID-19 conditions. To facilitate the communication of counseling using poster, and divided the discussion of food safety into 4, namely: 1) food safety of producers; 2) food safety distributors; 3) food safety of consumers 4) Food safety of food production. After being given counseling, an evaluation was carried out by measuring employee knowledge using a comparison of pre-test and post-test questionnaires given through the google form. The results of the evaluation stated that all employees in the eight coffee shops had increased knowledge about food safety. Most of the employees felt that community service activities with counseling were useful for maintaining security in coffee shops so that they could make employees and customers feel safe and comfortable.   Abstrak: Insan industri makanan, termasuk kedai kopi, tidak memiliki kesempatan untuk bekerja dari rumah dan diharuskan untuk tetap bekerja di tempat kerja seperti biasa. Dengan mengadakan sosialisasi tentang keamanan pangan, menjaga semua pekerja dalam produksi pangan dan rantai pasokan tetap sehat dan aman sangat penting untuk bertahan dari pandemi saat ini. Menjaga pergerakan makanan di sepanjang rantai makanan merupakan fungsi penting yang perlu disumbangkan oleh semua pemangku kepentingan di sepanjang rantai makanan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan atau informasi tentang keamanan pangan bagi penjamah makanan atau minuman sehingga warung kopi lebih siap menghadapi kondisi COVID-19. Untuk memudahkan komunikasi, penyuluhan menggunakan poster dan membagi pembahasan keamanan pangan menjadi 4, yaitu: 1) keamanan pangan produsen; 2) distributor keamanan pangan; 3) keamanan pangan konsumen 4) Keamanan pangan produksi pangan. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan, dilakukan evaluasi dengan mengukur pengetahuan karyawan menggunakan perbandingan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan melalui google form. Hasil evaluasi menyatakan bahwa seluruh karyawan di delapan kedai kopi tersebut mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang keamanan pangan. Sebagian besar karyawan merasa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan penyuluhan bermanfaat untuk menjaga keamanan di warung kopi sehingga dapat membuat karyawan dan pelanggan merasa aman dan nyaman.

Lanjut usia (Lansia) merupakan kelompok yang paling beresiko terkena Covid-19, dikarenakan lansia umumnya memiliki beberapa penyakit komorbid serta tingginya angka mortalitas pada lansia. Salah satu upaya untuk pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada lansia ialah dengan langkah promotif dan preventif, antara lain dengan pemberian edukasi pada lansia. Selain itu, perlu juga diperhatikan agar lansia tetap sehat dan bahagia di masa pandemi Covid-19 sehingga kualitas hidup lansia tetap terjaga dan resiko tertular Covid-19 pada lansia dapat dikurangi. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap lansia tentang protokol kesehatan dan upaya lansia sehat dan bahagia di masa pandemi Covid-19, dengan jumlah lansia sebanyak 20 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diawali dengan pendampingan para lansia untuk berkumpul diruang aula, pemberian kuesioner untuk pre-test, penyampaian informasi dilakukan dengan slide power point tentang protokol kesehatan dan upaya lansia sehat dan bahagia, video, kartu SMART, demonstrasi teknik relaksasi nafas dalam serta diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab, post-test, dan pemberian makanan tambahan sehat untuk lansia. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan menambah pengetahuan para lansia tentang pencegahan terjadinya infeksi Covid-19, meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap bahaya penularan serta menjadi lansia yang SMART. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Lansia, Sehat, Bahagia, SMART, Covid-19 ABSTRACT Elderly is the group most at risk of contracting Covid-19, because the elderly generally have several comorbid diseases and high mortality rates in the elderly. One of the efforts to prevent Covid-19 transmission in the elderly is by promoting and preventive steps, including providing education to the elderly. In addition, it should also be noted that the elderly remain healthy and happy during the Covid-19 pandemic so that the quality of life for the elderly is maintained and the risk of contracting Covid-19 in the elderly can be reduced. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and attitudes of the elderly about health protocols and efforts for healthy and happy elderly people during the Covid-19 pandemic, with 20 elderly people. The method of implementing this community service activity begins with the assistance of the elderly to gather in the hall, giving questionnaires for pre-test, delivering information with power point slides about health protocols and efforts for healthy and happy elderly people, videos, SMART cards, demonstrations of deep breathing relaxation techniques. and ended with a question and answer session, post-test, and providing healthy supplementary food for the elderly. The results of this community service activity are expected to increase the knowledge of the elderly about preventing the occurrence of Covid-19 infection, increase awareness of the dangers of transmission and become SMART elderly. Premenstrual syndrome characterized by affective, physical, and behavior symptoms with moderate to severe grade, that usually recurrent every luteal phase of menstrual cycle and disappear within menstruation. The frequency of premenstrual syndrome is still high, in Indonesia and all over the world. To overcome this situation, there should be a health promotion. The aim of this community service was to increase the girl’s knowledge of premenstrual syndrome. This community service was held in one day on November 2016 in public islamic high school MAN 2 Palembang. The schedule was start with pre test consist of 15 questions, counseling sesssion using power point media, discussion session, and post test consist of the same questions to measure the knowledge after counseling. Pre test score showed that 13.9% students had good knowledge and post test score showed an increase of good knowledge (66.7%). Conclusion, heatlh education through counseling method bring a change of knowledge.
