Communication is known as an activity carried out verbally and non-verbally. Communication involves a large number of XXI century skills such as analysis, evaluation, problem solving, metacognition, collaboration, and technology. Some content standards that were built as a foundation for CCSS (Common Core State Standards) target communication skills in the ability to write, speak, and listen. Communication skills of jambi university education administration students seem to be lacking. This is reinforced by the results of observations, when discussion groups of students find it difficult to convey ideas verbally and difficulty in writing ideas into summaries. Lack of communication skills is influenced by many factors. While communication skills are very important possessed by students especially in the industrial era 4.0. One solution to improve communication skills is to integrate learning models. learning models that can be integrated are problem based learning and inquiry. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of communication skills of jambi university education administration students through the problem based learning model and the inquiry model. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in cycles of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of this CAR indicate that the inquiry model has not been able to show any indication of changes in improving communication skills of Educational Administration students in Jambi University

This research was motivated by the lack of learning tools that can improve students' Mathematical Communication Skills (KKM). Activities that can encourage students to improve KKM have not been designed by the teacher in the learning device properly. This study aims to produce learning tools by applying Problem Based Learning models to improve KKM. This development research used the ADDIE development model with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of Syllabus, RPP, LKPD and KKM validation results showed highly valid criteria with percentages of 91.67%, 91.30%, 89.09%, and 87.15%, respectively. Practicality results indicate a very practical criterion with the percentage of small group trials at 95.57%, large group trials at 96.07%, and teacher responses at 96.25%. The effectiveness test results state that KKM of students who use learning tools with PBL models is better than KKM of students who use conventional learning.

Mathematical communication skills of students are still relatively low. One learning model can improve students 'mathematical communication skills and at the same time students' mathematical disposition is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The aim to be achieved is to find out the improvement of students 'mathematical communication skills and mathematical disposition using PBL models in terms of students' initial mathematical level. This research is an experimental research design with pretest posttest control group design. The research population was Grade VII students of SMP 9 Langsa. Students are grouped into two classes namely the experimental class and the control class randomly selected from eight parallel classes. The instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills and a mathematical disposition questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using two-way ANOVA. The results showed that improving students 'mathematical communication ability and students' mathematical disposition by applying PBL learning models is better than students applying conventional learning models. There is no interaction between the PBL learning model with student level on mathematical communication skills and students' mathematical disposition. The humanitarian problem in the development of the industrial revolution 4.0 is very complex and is at the stage of worrying. No human being separated from the effect of the waves. High school is active users (user) of the results of the industrial revolution the 4.0. The problem that arises in the use of social media including the demise of expertise, the dissemination of hate speech and fabricated news. Teaching Islamic education material should be able to respond to this by providing normative information in the Qur'an and Hadith so that students can escape from its negative effects. One of the solutions offered was to integrate these materials with integratsi learning models in the themes that have been arranged in the school's learning policy. Integrating this material must through the phases between the awarding phase of learning, information or materials to grow a critical reason, generate hypotheses and generalities.
