Nature, culture, and education are interrelated to each other to maintain the beauty, peace, and habitability of the earth planet for all living creatures. But it’s being a hidden subject in concerned authorities. Nepal is rich in natural biodiversity as well as cultural diversity. Education is the main medium to handover the (cultural) knowledge of nature conservation to their generation. Hence this study aims to explore the deep relationship between nature (environment), culture, and education. As per the nature of research objectives, qualitative research methodology has been adopted. The reviewed literature is related to the world's perspectives and practices to maintain interrelation among nature, culture, and education. Hence, this study can contribute to making people aware of environmental conservation by exploring the relationship of our nature, human culture, and education. From the study, all the concerned environmental justice communities, agencies, and institutions would endeavour to link their particular significant roles for nature conservation.

O ecoturismo é uma atividade socioambiental capaz de promover benefícios de conservação ambiental, assim como proporcionar o bem estar às populações locais envolvidas no processo de seu desenvolvimento. A partir dessa acepção, o presente artigo teve o objetivo de analisar a relação da Juçara Euterpe Oleracea Mart. e o ecoturismo diagnosticado como atividade turística a ser fomentada na APA do Maracanã. A metodologia utilizada centrou-se na análise documental como fio condutor para delinear os resultados. Esta análise enquadrou documentos importantes do acervo do Departamento de Turismo e Hotelaria (DETUH) do Centro de Ciências Sociais (CCSO) da Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA). Os resultados encontrados indicam que a Euterpe Oleracea Mart. é a marca característica da APA e o seu uso, tradicionalmente, serve para a alimentação da população local, bem como para os festejos denominado “festa da Juçara”. Verifica-se que é possível fomentar benefícios tangíveis do ecoturismo para as comunidades locais da APA a partir do fortalecimento de sua economia local baseada no beneficiamento da Juçara Euterpe Oleracea Mart. como elemento catalisador do desenvolvimento comunitário para o ecoturismo na APA do Maracanã. Contudo, uma correlação significativa entre a Juçara Euterpe Oleracea Mart. e o ecoturismo ainda é incipiente, pois ainda há percalços metodológicos a serem seguidos, principalmente concernente a construção de espaços deliberativos democráticos que assegurem de fato e de direito a institucionalidade do ecoturismo como atividade socioambiental capaz de promover o bem-estar e a conservação ambiental da APA do Maracanã. Ecotourism and community development: inclusion possibilities of "Juçara" Euterpe oleracea Mart. in ecotourism routes of Área de Proteção Ambiental do Maracanã, São Luís (MA, Brazil) ABSTRACT Ecotourism is an environmental activity that promotes environmental benefits of environmental conservation, as well as providing welfare to local population involved in the process of its development. From this sense, this article aims to analyze the relationship of Juçara Euterpe Oleracea Mart. and ecotourism diagnosed as tourism to be promoted in that APA Maracanã. The methodology focused on document analysis as a guideline of outline the results. This analysis fits important documents of the Department of the Tourism and Hotelary the Centre for Social Sciences of the Federal University of Maranhão. The results indicate that the Euterpe Oleracea Mart. is the hallmark of APA and its use traditionally serves to feed the local population and called for celebrations “festa da juçara”. It appears that is possible to promote ecotourism tangible benefits to local communities APA from strengthening its local economy based on processing of Euterpe Oleracea Mart. as a catalyst of community development for ecotourism in the APA in the Maracanã. However, a significant correlation between Euterpe Oleracea Mart. and ecotourism is still in its infancy, as there are still methodological obstacles to be followed, especially concerning the construction of democratic deliberative spaces to ensure in fact and in law the institutions of ecotourism as environmental activity to promote the welfare and environmental conservation APA Maracanã. Community-based ecotourism is a rural development through a tourism sector that not only sell natural resources but also contributes to environmental conservation and the active participation of communities as managers. The religious ecotourism of Kampung Batusuhunan is tourism that prioritizes the conservation of the environment by combining religious culture and the community's participation. The objective of this reseach is to analyze the relationship of community participation with the sustainability of ecology, socio-cultural and economic used quantitative research methods supported by qualitative data. The results of the research showed there is a strong and significant relationship between community participation with socio-cultural sustainability, while community participation with ecology and economic sustainability shows a moderate and significant correlation. Keywords : community’s empowerment, co-management, ecotourism, sustainability ABSTRAKEkowisata berbasis masyarakat merupakan pengembangan pedesaan melalui sektor pariwisata yang tidak hanya menjual sumberdaya wisata yang masih alami, namun juga berkontribusi terhadap upaya konservasi lingkungan serta peningkatan partisipasi aktif masyarakat sebagai pengelola. Ekowisata religi Kampung Batusuhunan merupakan pariwisata yang mengedepankan konservasi lingkungan dengan memadukan kebudayaan agama serta partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan partisipasi masyarakat dengan keberlanjutan ekologi, sosial-budaya dan ekonomi masyarakat dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yang didukung dengan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara partisipasi masyarakat dengan keberlanjutan sosial-budaya, sedangkan partisipasi masyarakat dengan keberlanjutan ekologi dan keberlanjutan ekonomi menunjukkan hubungan yang cukup dan signifikan.Kata Kunci : ekowisata, keberlanjutan, pengelolaan, pemberdayaan masyarakat

This article is concerned with caring for place, the interweaving of community, landscape, and culture. Culturally reflexive stewardship (crs) involves actions to sustain a way of life, motivated by a shared appreciation of place, landscape, and region, and expressed through practices that transmit cultural knowledge and affirm a social identity. The article first contrasts two resource regimes, one based on a logic of tradeoffs and markets, the other on a logic of stewardship. Second, it presents the key characteristics of crs, emphasizing the linkage of intellectual content (local knowledge) with an ethical imperative based in the symbolic qualities of place. Finally, the article explores the relationship of stewardship to social organization, and offers examples of crs in three modes, termed “living in place,” “conservation and recovery,” and “polarization and protest.”

The Mesozoic-Cenozoic coral Order Scleractinia has been suggested to have originated or evolved (1) by direct descent from the Paleozoic Order Rugosa or (2) by the development of a skeleton in members of one of the anemone groups that probably have existed throughout Phanerozoic time. In spite of much work on the subject, advocates of the direct descent hypothesis have failed to find convincing evidence of this relationship. Critical points are:(1) Rugosan septal insertion is serial; Scleractinian insertion is cyclic; no intermediate stages have been demonstrated. Apparent intermediates are Scleractinia having bilateral cyclic insertion or teratological Rugosa.(2) There is convincing evidence that the skeletons of many Rugosa were calcitic and none are known to be or to have been aragonitic. In contrast, the skeletons of all living Scleractinia are aragonitic and there is evidence that fossil Scleractinia were aragonitic also. The mineralogic difference is almost certainly due to intrinsic biologic factors.(3) No early Triassic corals of either group are known. This fact is not compelling (by itself) but is important in connection with points 1 and 2, because, given direct descent, both changes took place during this only stage in the history of the two groups in which there are no known corals.

Echinodermata is a phylum of marine invertebrates which has been extant since Cambrian time (c.a. 500 m.y. before the present). Modern examples of echinoderms include sea urchins, sea stars, and sea lilies (crinoids). The endoskeletons of echinoderms are composed of plates or ossicles (Fig. 1) which are with few exceptions, porous, single crystals of high-magnesian calcite. Despite their single crystal nature, fracture surfaces do not exhibit the near-perfect {10.4} cleavage characteristic of inorganic calcite. This paradoxical mix of biogenic and inorganic features has prompted much recent work on echinoderm skeletal crystallography. Furthermore, fossil echinoderm hard parts comprise a volumetrically significant portion of some marine limestones sequences. The ultrastructural and microchemical characterization of modern skeletal material should lend insight into: 1). The nature of the biogenic processes involved, for example, the relationship of Mg heterogeneity to morphological and structural features in modern echinoderm material, and 2). The nature of the diagenetic changes undergone by their ancient, fossilized counterparts. In this study, high resolution TEM (HRTEM), high voltage TEM (HVTEM), and STEM microanalysis are used to characterize tha ultrastructural and microchemical composition of skeletal elements of the modern crinoid Neocrinus blakei.

Electron microscopy has proved to be an invaluable discipline in studies on the relationship of viruses to the origin of leukemia, sarcoma, and other types of tumors in animals and man. The successful cell-free transmission of leukemia and sarcoma in mice, rats, hamsters, and cats, interpreted as due to a virus or viruses, was proved to be due to a virus on the basis of electron microscope studies. These studies demonstrated that all the types of neoplasia in animals of the species examined are produced by a virus of certain characteristic morphological properties similar, if not identical, in the mode of development in all types of neoplasia in animals, as shown in Fig. 1.

In RBL-2H3 rat leukemic mast cells, crosslinking IgE-receptor complexes with anti-IgE antibody leads to degranulation. Receptor crosslinking also stimulates the redistribution of receptors on the cell surface, a process that can be observed by labeling the anti-IgE with 15 nm protein A-gold particles as described in Stump et al. (1989), followed by back-scattered electron imaging (BEI) in the scanning electron microscope. We report that anti-IgE binding stimulates the redistribution of IgE-receptor complexes at 37“C from a dispersed topography (singlets and doublets; S/D) to distributions dominated sequentially by short chains, small clusters and large aggregates of crosslinked receptors. These patterns can be observed (Figure 1), quantified (Figure 2) and analyzed statistically. Cells incubated with 1 μg/ml anti-IgE, a concentration that stimulates maximum net secretion, redistribute receptors as far as chains and small clusters during a 15 min incubation period. At 3 and 10 μg/ml anti-IgE, net secretion is reduced and the majority of receptors redistribute rapidly into clusters and large aggregates.

This report describes an unusual and persistent dysphonia in two young women who had taken a therapeutic regimen of isotretinoin for intractable acne. We report perceptual and instrumental data for their dysphonia, and pose a theoretical basis for the relationship of dysphonia to this drug. We also provide recommendations for reducing the risk of acquiring a dysphonia during the course of treatment with isotretinoin.
