Objectives: Personality and spiritual factors play an important role in the death anxiety of incurable patients. This research was performed to investigate the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between emotional regulation and spirituality, with death anxiety in cancer patients. Methods: Number of 290 cancer patients referring to the chemotherapy section of Imam Reza Hospital were selected using available sampling methods. The questionnaires that were considered to collect information were: (1) Demographic Information Questionnaire; (2) Parsian and Dunning Spirituality Questionnaire; (3) Garnefski Emotion Regulation Questionnaire; (4) Connor & Davidson Resilience Questionnaire; and (5) Templer Death Anxiety Questionnaire; all the data from these questionnaires after completion and analysis of the data collected, structural equations were carried out using Smart Pls. Results: The results showed that the direct effect of cognitive regulation of emotion, spirituality and resilience on death anxiety is significant (P ≤ 0.01). Also, the direct effect of cognitive regulation of emotion and spirituality on resilience is significant (P ≤ 0.01). Furthermore the indirect cognitive regulation of emotion and spirituality on death anxiety mediated by resilience is significant (P ≤ 0.01). Conclusions: The results of this study show the importance of personality and spiritual factors in psychological problems of cancer patients and have implications in the field of psychotherapy.

In the recent, the aspect of foresight is considered globally important. Specially, it has gained a meaningful position in strategic planning. This study examines the quantitative relationships between strategic foresight, ambidexterity and competitiveness of firms. Based on the literature review, it appears that strategic foresight has positive impact on organisational ambidexterity which in turn contributes to competitive advantage. We have utilised structural equations modeling (SEM) to empirically test the mentioned relationships in Iran’s nanotechnology firms. Results show that the degree of strategic foresight has a direct effect on organisational ambidexterity which in turn affects competitive advantage.

Abstract. This study investigated the mediating role of coping humor in the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and job satisfaction. Participants were 398 primary school teachers in China, who completed the Wong Law Emotional Intelligence Scale, Coping Humor Scale, and Overall Job Satisfaction Scale. Results showed that coping humor was a significant mediator between EI and job satisfaction. A further examination revealed, however, that coping humor only mediated two sub-dimensions of EI (use of emotion and regulation of emotion) and job satisfaction. Implications for future research and limitations of the study are discussed.

The intermediary effect interval of the preschool teachers' competence characteristics → positive psychological capital → the subjective well-being of the preschool teachers is (0.23—0.55), does not contain 0, and the effect amount is 0.35. The competency characteristics of preschool teachers → The direct effect interval of subjective well-being of preschool teachers is (0.05—0.36), excluding 0, and the effect quantity is 0.20, indicating that positive psychological capital as a mediator variable has the characteristics of preschool teachers and the subjective well-being of preschool teachers. Partial mediating effect, the ratio of mediating effect to total effect is 64.01%.

The purpose of this study is to examine the direct and indirect effect of these determinants on repeat purchase. Competitive training industries impose pressure on managers to increase repeat purchase. Even though service quality and repeat purchase are well studied in prior literature, their determinants such as perceived value and satisfaction have not been fully investigated together as moderating variables. Most of literature stated both of perceived value and satisfaction as independent variables. Besides, most of literature consider purchase as an attitudinal (namely purchase intention), while this study focus on behavioural (namely repeat purchase). Data from a survey of 300 customers of public training are used to empirically evaluate the model. Results indicate that perceived value and the satisfaction have no direct effect on repeat purchase. However, these constructs indirectly influence repeat purchase through the mediating role of service quality. Satisfaction and perceived value play a major role in enhancing service quality, but do not directly impact repeat purchase. Interestingly, the direct effect on repeat purchases stems from service quality while recent researches suggest satisfaction is the antecedent. The findings suggest that training companies should invest more resources aimed at enhancing service quality through service delivery training for their employees. Even though prior research has considered the concepts studied here, this study aims to empirically evaluate a variety of antecedent factors that potentially affect repeat purchase. Relationships are established utilizing data collected in Indonesia (an increasingly important consumer market) which adds value to extant knowledge in this area. User resistance is a complex phenomenon and is considered a major constraint towards the successful implementation and usage of information technology. Hence, in order to investigate the factors that may lead to user resistance; the current study proposes and investigates the mediating role of fear of unknown between lack of change information and end-user grumbling, and the moderating role of emotional regulation between the relationship. Emotional self-regulation theory has been used as an overarching theory that explains the research model proposed and tested in the study. Using a Quantitative approach, the survey was conducted and data was collected from 334 users of FBR systems. With the help of SPSS and MACRO PROCESS, statistical tests were conducted and links were tested. Results revealed that all hypotheses were accepted. Along with these discussions, research implications and recommendations are also provided.
