Extension of Taylor’s work for dispersion of Newtonian fluids to include non-Newtonian Ostwald‒de Waele fluids is presented. Following his approach two situations are considered. They are fluid dispersion in the absence of molecular diffusion and fluid dispersion due to the combined action of convection and radial molecular diffusion. All the results of this study reduce to those obtained by Taylor.
