Engineers of Canadian Aero Service devised a system of aerial survey using a new combination of the aerial camera with instruments for securing auxiliary data. They also devised a new aerial triangulation method to take full advantage of the auxiliary data provided, and they proved the value of their system in a 1:50,000 mapping project of 28,400 square miles in Nigeria.
