Determination of fish landing price is important, as the same contributes to the structure, conduct and performance of the fish market in Lake Victoria. Determination of relevant landing price is a gap to console between fishermen, agents (middlemen), processors and the government. The main objective of this study was therefore to examine fish price determination. Specifically, to examine the methods for fish price determination and analyse factors that affect fish landing price in Lake Victoria, a cross-sectional design was employed, and 300 respondents were randomly selected from two district councils, namely, Sengerema and Buchosa. Both qualitative and quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis. Findings show that landing price is determined through formal negotiation with processors, consultation with other traders, informal negotiation with buyers and Beach Management Unit (BMU). The study concluded that these are the common methods used to determine landing prices. Also, distance from fishing to onshore landing centres, market information channels, age and experiences of the fishermen are the factors significantly found affecting landing price. It is recommended that the mechanism for setting up fishery price, fish market structure, fishery information and the formation of fishery regulatory body needs fishery policy and sector reforms that mark the determination of fish landing price.

The author of the article turns attention to the phenomenon of human life, recognizing it as the value which is hard and complicated to define. The price of a human life comprises philosophical, political, sociological and legal issues. From the legal and philosophical aspect the price of a human life is practically impossible to determine, since it is worth the highest price. Determination of the price of human life means admitting that a human is the measure of value in a certain community under appropriate socially economic conditions. Different approaches and methodologies are applied in determination of a materialized price of a human life, therefore the rating of the price is varied. In determining the price of a human life, the legal aspect is important, since it deals with the fixation of the amount of compensations in cases of an individual's loss of life and calculations of the insurance costs.

Abstract Constitution mandates that the national economy should be run by promoting people's welfare. This study intends to analyze the mechanisms and criteria for state intervention in order to provide legal protection to consumers and other businesseman in creating healthy business competition. This study uses doctrinal method research in the form of evaluative research. The approach which is used is the approach of legislation with secondary data sources in the form of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. From the discussion and showed that the mechanism of state intervention is likethe delimitation of the price tolerance 10 % for rice, granting subsidies (BLT), market operations, tariff Arrangement of Impor Tax, Price Determination of Government Purchase (HPP), Restrictions of food exports. While the criteria for state intervention is the production branches which are important for the country and dominate the life of many people, the production branches are arranged legislation, organized by the state or body or institution established or designated by the government.

The culinary industry is currently one of the best industries that are developing, this has become one of the economic supports in several regions. Based on the results of the economic census report of the Tasikmalaya City in 2016 the culinary industry in percentage and number of positions was in the third position followed by the large trade industry which occupied the first position and the processing industry in the second position. This study aims to determine the impact of changes in raw material costs lucratively on the selling price determination of chicken porridge in MSMEs at the City of Tasikmalaya. The population in this study were all MSMEs chicken porridge entrepreneurs totaling 261 units, while the method used in this study was a survey method with a quantitative approach presented descriptively. The result of this study is that changes in raw material costs have an impact of 89.2% on the determination of the selling price of chicken porridge. In fact, this is clearly illustrated by the chicken porridge activists who prefer to set the selling price using a mixed method based on market costs and demand. This is because there is a concern from chicken porridge activists for the risks that they will get such as decreasing sales and automatically reducing their revenue streams.

On the basis of the complete equation system of the plastic flow theory, the solution continuation of the determination problem of the kinematic and stressed states of a blanket during restricted extrusion of П-shaped brackets under conditions of plane deformation in the general case of a nonaligned placement of the punch and the die is stated. The determination of flow velocities and stresses in the area of plastic deformation, located under the punch end near the formed thick wall of the bracket has been carried out. The formulae were obtained, which are required for identification of the main parameters of the extrusion process of П-shaped products with a relatively thin horizontal bridge.

Pulses are nature’s precious gift to mankind as it supplementsnutritional (protein) requirements ofhumans, feed to cattle, and nitrogen to the soil. Pulses are extensively grown world over and India ranks second in pulses production. State of Bihar contributes about 2.35 percent of area and 3.06 percent of production of the country, which is about 7-8 percent of the gross cropped area in the state. The productivity of pulses in Bihar ranged between 819 kg/ha in 2000-01 to 897 kg/ha in 2013-14. Pulses aremostly grown under rainfed conditions, on marginal lands, with poor level of input use which has resulted in low productivity and production. The study examines the trends of pulses production and consumption in Bihar. Findings reveal that an increase of 54.68 percent of production in triennium ending 2001-03 to 2012-14. The per capita availability of pulses is still 600 gram to 700 gram per capita per month which is very low compared to recommended levels. The study suggests various measures for improvement of pulses production as well as consumption level in the state through serious efforts by different stake holders who are involved in production, marketing and price determination of pulses.

The concept of the model row goods is introduced. These are the interchangeable goods differing by quality and price. Cognacs of various vintage years produced on one cognac factory are a typical example of such goods. For the indicated kind of the goods the method of the cost price determination of the goods of competitors is worked out and realized. The initial information for determination is the data on the prices of the goods and sales volumes.

Linear solvers for the flow exterior to the hull may be used to solve for the fluid dynamics also in the interior of a tank, as discussed in Newman (2005) and Ludvigsen et al. (2013). This introduces extra, erroneous terms in the radiation part of the pressure in the tank, but due to cancellation in restoring and radiation terms, the total representation of the pressure and the global response is correctly obtained. For some kinds of analysis, specific knowledge is needed of the radiation and restoring parts separately. The cancellation of the extra terms can then not be utilized. Examples of this are stability analysis and eigenvalue analysis. In stability analysis we need to know the actual real global restoring coefficients. In eigenvalue analysis, we should have the separately correct representations of the added mass and restoring coefficients, respectively, to be able to conveniently use them as input to standard eigenvalue solvers. Here, we develop the expressions for the corrected, actual terms of the total added mass and restoring coefficients for tanks. This is used in our computer program for performing eigenvalue analysis. Results for peak global response and natural periods of the structure with the influence of tank dynamics are presented. Comparisons are made with results obtained by a quasi-static method for an FPSO and a ship with more largely extensive tanks. For a completely filled tank, the boundary value problem (BVP) for the velocity potential is reduced to Laplace equation in the fluid domain, subject to a Neuman condition on the fixed boundary and it is not closed. The extra condition of having zero pressure at some point in the tank is then added. Direct re-use of the BVP solver for the external flow, gives an undetermined set of linear equations for the velocity potential in the tank fluid. A typical solver for sets of linear equations may still return a solution, but this will contain a random undetermined constant. After imposing zero pressure in the top of the tank, this solution is still unstable, contaminated by numerical noise. An improved method is introduced by imposing algebraically, in the equation system, the constraint of zero pressure in the top of the tank. This gives a non-singular equation system with a stable solution holding zero pressure in some selected point in the tank.
