The UN's sustainable development goals (SDGs), which aim to solve important economic, social, and environmental problems of humanity, are to be supported by education for sustainable development (ESD). Empirical studies on the success of the implementation of the SDGs in the field of education are still pending. For this reason, using the loss of global biodiversity as an example, this study examined the extent to which high school students, teacher trainees in biology, and biology bachelor students can identify the causes of the global biodiversity loss. A new questioning tool was developed and tested on 889 participants. In addition, the relationship between connection to nature and the personal assessment about biodiversity threats was examined. The factor analysis of the scale used showed that 11 out of 16 items were assigned to the intended factor. The comparison between high school students, teacher trainees in biology, and biology bachelor students showed no significant difference in overall assessment of the reasons for global biodiversity loss. When comparing the three risk levels in which the risk factors for biodiversity could be divided, across the three student groups, only minor differences were found. Therefore, a specific education of prospective teachers is necessary, as they have to pass on the competence as multipliers to their students. No significant difference could be found when examining the relationship between connection to nature and the overall scores of the assessment scale for the reasons of biodiversity loss. However, it was found that people who felt more connected to nature were more capable of assessing the main causes of risk for global biodiversity, while people who felt less connected to nature achieved better scores for the medium factors.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the labor discipline of production personnel when performing maintenance (maintenance) of cars. The research was conducted in Perm on the basis of a typical car service, which is an official dealer of the domestic car brand. The results of comparing the manufacturer’s MAINTENANCE technology and the actions of performers (locksmiths) are presented. Deficiencies in the work of production personnel were found and analyzed. Recommendations have been developed to improve the organization of work, increase the level of motivation of employees. Education is an activity requiring lengthy efforts and perseverance, as well as skills for acquiring information and its creative usage. All this is based on prolonged motivation, directly related to the improvement of the educational development and the consecutive professional realization. Long-term objectives serve as coordinating terms leading to particular goals in the everyday life and thus, behaviour could be rationalized and directed in a longer prospective towards both the past and the future. The aim of the present study is to survey the opinion and personal assessment of the long-term motivation of students from NSA “Vassil Levski”, Sofia and students from Nish, Serbia. The research was conducted from November 2016 to May 2017. It was done among 96 students (45 fourth-year students at NSA and 51 students from the University in Nish). The students had to fill out a test consisting of 10 questions related to their personal assessment of their long-term motivation. The results of the study were processed mathematically and statistically by: variation analysis, relative share, comparative analysis of two independent samples and comparative analysis of the frequency distributions with χ² – the Pearson criterion.According to the generalized conclusions, a higher percentage of the Bulgarian students is directed towards long-term objectives and prospects than the percentage of the Serbian students. Women are more motivated in their long-term development than men but there are not statistically significant differences along all the questions. Athletes’ motivation is higher than the average one for the whole population. We believe, however, that the motivation changes in the course of the studies and we assume it is higher for the students who are about to graduate.

Resumen El objetivo de la presente investigación es validar una herramienta que permita evaluar la calidad percibida de los programas del voluntariado universitario al contexto deportivo mexicano. Para el análisis de los datos se utilizó el software estadístico SPSS v.22 y el programa LISREL 8.8. Se realizaron los análisis de consistencia interna, análisis factorial exploratorio (AFE) y análisis factorial confirmatorio (AFC) con dos muestras distintas. El instrumento utilizado fue el QVOLSPORT mx, el cual está compuesto por 49 ítems y 6 factores: 1. Organización del voluntariado, 2. Responsables de área, 3. Tareas específicas del área, 4. Logística, 5. Instalación y materiales y 6.Valoración personal. El muestreo fue intencional por conveniencia, los participantes son voluntarios deportivos universitarios de la Universiada Nacional del año 2017 y 2019 de ambos géneros. Se aplicó a una muestra de 778 participantes distribuida en 378 participantes en la Universiada del año 2017, donde 252 fueron hombres y 126 mujeres, mientras que para la Universiada del año 2019 participaron 400, donde 238 son hombres y 162 mujeres, con un rango de edad entre 18 y 31 años (M = 21.18). Los resultados mostraron que el Alfa de Cronbach por factores está por encima de .70; los indicadores de pertinencia fueron adecuados, los 6 factores obtenidos explican el 59.60% de la varianza total. Los índices de ajuste y de error son satisfactorios, CFI = 0.982, NNFI= 0.981 y RMSEA = 0.057, por lo que el modelo ajusta. Se concluye que el instrumento QVOLSPORT mx, presenta propiedades psicométricas adecuadas y atiende a las necesidades del voluntariado deportivo de la comunidad universitaria, posibilitando una mejora continua en los programas de voluntariado deportivo. Se confirma que el instrumento es válido para evaluar la calidad percibida en los programas del voluntariado deportivo universitario al contexto deportivo mexicano. The sampling was intentional for convenience, the participants are university sports volunteers of the National Universiade of the year 2017 and 2019 of both genders. It was applied to a sample of 778 participants distributed in 378 participants in the 2017 Universiade, where 252 were men and 126 women, while for the 2019 Universiade 400 participated, where 238 were men and 162 women, with a range of age between 18 and 31 years (M = 21.18). The results showed that Cronbach's Alpha by factors is above .70; the indicators of relevance were adequate, the 6 factors obtained explain 59.60% of the total variance. The fit and error indices are satisfactory, CFI = 0.982, NNFI = 0.981 and RMSEA = 0.057, so the model fits. It is concluded that the QVOLSPORT mx instrument has adequate psychometric properties and meets the needs of sports volunteering in the university community, enabling continuous improvement in sports volunteering programs. It is confirmed that the instrument is valid to evaluate the perceived quality of university sports volunteering programs in the Mexican sports context. O objetivo desta pesquisa é validar uma ferramenta que permite avaliar a qualidade percebida dos programas de voluntariado universitário no contexto esportivo mexicano. Para a análise dos dados, foram utilizados os softwares estatísticos SPSS v.22 e LISREL 8.8. As análises de consistência interna, análise fatorial exploratória (AFE) e análise fatorial confirmatória (AFC) foram realizadas com duas amostras diferentes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara keintiman, komitmen, dan kepercayaan terhadap pemaafan, serta peranan kepercayaan sebagai mediator hubungan antara keintiman dan komitmen terhadap pemaafan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 203 orang istri yang diambil menggunakan tehnik purposive random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan empat skala adopsi, yaitu skala pemaafan-MOFS (The marital offence-specific forgiveness scale), skala keintiman PAIR (Personal assessment intimacy in relationship), skala komitmen, dan skala kepercayaan. Hipotesis penelitian meliputi: (1) ada hubungan positif antara keintiman dan kepercayaan (2) Ada hubungan positif antara komitmen dan kepercayaan (3) ada hubungan positif antara kepercayaan dan pemaafan (4) ada hubungan antara keintiman dan pemaafan dimediasi oleh kepercayaan (5) ada hubungan antara komitmen dan pemaafan dimediasi oleh kepercayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan menemukan bahwa keintiman dan komitmen berhubungan dengan kepercayaan. Kepercayaan dapat menjadi mediasi hubungan keintiman dengan pemaafan, tapi tidak memediasi pada hubungan komitmen dengan pemaafan.

To address the challenge of identifying an effective English language teaching pedagogy, this study explored the Grade 10 teachers (n=50) and students’ (n=2,221) beliefs of effective language teaching methods and the teachers’ classroom practices. It further investigated the convergence and divergence of the teachers’ and students’ beliefs and the teachers’ practices along with the pedagogic parameters of practicality and particularity. Using the descriptive quantitative design, the findings revealed the convergence of responses between (a) teachers’ and students’ beliefs of effective language methods, and (b) teachers’ beliefs and their practices. Analysis of responses also revealed the pedagogic parameters of practicality and particularity in the conduct of their English language classes. Teachers continually engage in the cycle of personal assessment to increase their autonomy in formulating enlightened choices responsive to the students’ needs. It is imperative that English teachers be engaged in programs that support their awareness of local exigencies to strengthen their belief systems on post-method pedagogy.

Each PACE packet contains multiple-choice questions and patient management problems along with answer keys, normative data, and bibliographic references. PACE packets will be mailed at three-month intervals over the next 18 months. The cost for the entire six-part series is $50 for nonmembers.

In the conditions of economic uncertainty, serious requirements are put forward for the personnel management system. Special skills and qualifications of personnel are increasingly prevailing as the main competitive companies’ advantage in the struggle for a leading position in the market. In the short term, highly dynamic employment processes are expected, as many organizations aim to significantly adjust existing labor relations. Personnel consulting reflect the activity to solve the tasks set for the top personnel management in order to increase the profitability of the organization. The object of the personnel audit is the internal labor market, that is, the available human resources are considered, in particular, the workforce, various aspects of the organization’s production activities. Effectiveness evaluation of the methods of vocational guidance and adaptation, identification and diagnosis of problems arising during the adaptation period is also one of the main parameters. Thus, the specific diversity of personnel audit is determined by the goals and objectives. The lack of personnel assessment and development systems in the company entails serious risks in forming and implementation of management decisions, which can also lead to serious costs for the organization. Personnel assessment using transparent and understandable criteria, organization of trainings and training for employees, formation of programs for the development of professional competencies are not only conditions for retaining employees, but also a tool for developing the organization’s HR brand.
