Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe the understanding of the direct current electric circuit basic concept that posses by senior high school students and natural science (physics) student teacher. The research instrument used in this study was the concept understanding test in the form of objective test that accompanied by certainty of response index (CRI). This test was developed from some relevant studies. The concept understanding test was given to 30 senior high school students and also 32 graduate students of physics education study program in Palangka Raya City. From the study result, it was found that the same of the kind of missconception problem tends to be found among the senior high school students and also the graduate students, for example is the concept of the consumption model of electric current and battery are the fixed current supply. The missconceptions on the direct current circuit that found in this study were also have been founded in some studies from other countries for various group of age and level of study.  Keywords: missconception, electric circuit, direct current, CRI. Abstrak. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai pemahaman siswa di sekolah menengah (SMA) dan mahasiswa calon guru IPA (fisika) terhadap konsep dasar rangkaian listrik arus searah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes pemahaman konsep dengan pilihan ganda beralasan terbuka disertai dengan certainty of response index (CRI). Tes ini dikembangkan dari beberapa studi yang relevan. Tes pemahaman konsep diberikan kepada 30 siswa SMA dan 32 mahasiswa Prodi S1 Pendidikan Fisika yang berada di Kota Palangka Raya. Berdasarkan hasil studi ditemukan kesalahan konsep (miskonsepsi) yang cenderung sama pada siswa dan mahasiswa, antara lain model konsumsi arus listrik dan baterai merupakan sumber arus listrik yang tetap. Kesalahan konsep (miskonsepsi) mengenai rangkaian listrik arus searah yang ditemukan dalam studi ini juga ditemukan di beberapa studi di luar negeri pada berbagai kelompok umur dan jenjang pendidikan. Kata kunci: miskonsepsi, rangkaian listrik, arus searah, CRI

One of the misconceptions can be identified by using CRI (Certainty of Response Index). The purpose of this study was to identify the misconceptions of class XII high school students in the city of Pekanbaru on the material of Photosynthesis and Plant Respiration using the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) method. This research is a survey research. The location of this research was carried out at two high schools in Pekanbaru, namely SMA N 15 Pekanbaru and SMA IT Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru. The number of samples in this study is the total population of the two SMAs. The data collection technique was carried out using a written test instrument in the form of a multiple choice test accompanied by CRI. The average percentage of students' misconceptions of SMA IT AZ-ZUHRA and SMAN 15 Pekanbaru on the concept of photosynthesis, the highest percentage is in the sub-concept of the benefits of photosynthesis for plants by 96.15% and the lowest percentage is in the sub-concept of photosynthetic pigments at 53.19%. The average percentage of students' misconceptions at SMA IT AZ-ZUHRA and SMAN 15 Pekanbaru on the concept of plant respiration, the highest percentage is found in the sub-concept of understanding respiration in plants of 84.62%. The lowest percentage is found in the sub-concept of understanding breathing and the sub-concept of when plants breathe, each of which is 67.58%.

This research aims to identify class XI MIPA1 senior high school students, who experience misconceptions on the kinetic theory of gas. The method used to determine students who experience misconceptions is the Certainty Response Index (IRK) method. This method has four indexes in identifying students' mastery of concepts, namely lucky guess (LG), not knowing concept (NKC/TTK), knowing concept (KC/TK), and misconception (M). The subjects of the study were senior high school students in class XI MIPA1 in Tasik Malaya. The research instrument used was a kinetic theory of gas test equipped with an IRK scale assessment instrument. This research is a quantitative descriptive research that can determine weaknesses in understanding students' physics concepts with the IRK method. The results of data analysis using IRK revealed that students who experienced lucky guess (LG) were 9.0%, students who knew the concept (TK) were 35.2%, students who lacked knowledge or did not know the concept (TTK) were 21.9%, and students experiencing misconceptions (M) of 33.8%. Based on the sub-topic analysis, the level of misconception the results are also in the high category. Thus it was concluded that through the IRK method it was identified that most students were still experiencing misconceptions, did not know the concepts, and were lucky guessed in understanding the kinetic theory of gas in the class XI MIPA1 of senior high school in Tasik Malaya.

Experimental research about Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model has been conducted in one of senior high school in Bandung. This research aimed to analyze students’ understanding of momentum and impulse concepts by using TSTS learning model. Students’ conception were identified by multiple choice-diagnostics test using Certainty of Response Index (CRI) scale. Research method was pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest design involving 37 students as research subjects. Results showed that profile of students’ understanding of momentum and impulse concepts were increased from 16,8% in pretest to 70,6% in posttest. Effectiveness of TSTS learning model was reflected by N-gain of 0.64. Keywords: concept of momentum and impuls, CRI, two stay two stray (TSTS)ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian eksperimental tentang model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi momentum dan impuls dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran two stay two stray (TSTS). Pemahaman konsep siswa diukur dengan tes diagnosis berupa tes pilihan ganda dengan menggunakan skala Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Metode penelitian adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest Posttest yang melibatkan 37 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa SMA pada materi momentum dan impuls setelah pembelajaran meningkat, yaitu 16,8% pada pretest menjadi 70,6% pada posttest. Keefektivitasan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model TSTS ini dapat dilihat dari nilai N-gain sebesar 0,64.Kata kunci: CRI, konsep momentum dan impuls, two stay two stray (TSTS)

Abstract. Identification of StudentsMisconception by Using Certainty of Response Index (CRI) to Ecosystem in Student Class XI MIA on Senior High School. This research aims to know the description of the misconception to grade XI MIA MAN 1 Jeneponto content ecosystem by using the method of Certainty of Responses Index (CRI). This research is descriptive Research. The subject is a student of Class XI and XI MIA3 MIA2 semester odd years lessons 2017/2018 with total students 56 people. Sampling techniques using a purposive sampling technique. Instrument in this study using a diagnostic test multiple choice shaped reasoned that come with the value of the CRI. The results showed that the percentage of level/category/categories on students understanding i.e. understand concepts of 24.11%, understand the concept but less sure of 1.70%, misconception of 37.23% and don't understand the concept in hardness of 36.96%. This study aimed at analyzing the cognitive dimension based on Revised BloomTaxonomy in reading questions in Look Ahead an English Course for Senior HighSchool Level 1, 2, & 3. This study used quantitative research design. The sampleswere 141 reading questions which taken by using random sampling technique byusing Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0. in Look Aheadan English Course for Senior High School Level 1, 2, & 3. The data were analyzedby using Table analysis of cognitive dimension of Revised Bloom Taxonomy. Theanalysis showed that the most dominant cognitive dimension of Revised BloomTaxonomy in remembering dimension (57.45%). The second dominant cognitivedimension is understanding dimension (26.24%). The third dominant cognitivedimension is evaluating dimension (10.64%). The fourth dominant cognitivedimension is creating dimension (3.55%). The fifth dominant cognitive dimension isanalyzing dimension (2.13%). There was no cognitive dimension of applyingdimension that applied in reading question of the textbooks.
