Abstract Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: None. Background Sudden cardiac death is one of the main issues worldwide, with more than 700.000 deaths annually. It is strongly believed that the implementation of "Kids Save Lives" project in schools can change this situation. The World Health Organization endorsed the ‘Kids Save Lives’ project in 2015 in order to reduce mortality. On the other hand the use of automatic external defibrillators (AED) is associated with higher survival rate after a cardiac arrest. Purpose Τo evaluate the level and the improvement of theoretical knowledge of secondary school students on the subject of AEDs  before and after the "Kids Save Lives" respectively. Material – Method: Data collection took place on the academic periods of 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 and was performed in secondary schools. A total of 5562 students participated on the "Kids save Lives" program according to the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and World Health Organization (WHO) statement. A 12 point questionnaire was answered by the students before and after the "kids saves lives" program. Among other questions, there was one which investigate the knowledge of students in the usage of AEDs and another one asked students to refer a place, where somebody can find an AED. Results The training improves significantly the theoretical knowledge regarding the usage of AEDs, with the percentage of correct answers being 49 % and 85,9%, before and after the  course respectively (p < 0.001).  Moreover, only 19,8% of the students knew a place, where somebody can find an AED before  the course and 77,2% after the course (p < 0,001) Conclusions The overall results strongly depict the benefits of "Kids Save Lives" program by improving the theoretical knowledge on the subject of AEDs. Further research is needed to identify the times a student must follow the program to maximize its effectiveness and more action must take place in order to make students familiar with AEDs.

The Kids Save Lives initiative, endorsed by the World Health Organization in 2015, is teaching school children worldwide about the importance of CPR and how to perform it. In Greece this project is a suggestion of Ministry of Education to schools. Purpose Τo evaluate the level of theoretical knowledge, willingness to perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and active skills of Greek secondary school students on the subject of Basic life Support before and after a "Kids Save Lives" program. Material – Method: Data collection took place on the academic periods of 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 and was performed in secondary schools of Thessaly’s region. A total of 5092 students (51,9% female, mean age 14.2 years) participated on the "Kids save Lives" program according to the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and World Health Organization (WHO) statement. A 12 point questionnaire was answered by the students before and after completing the "kid saves lives" program, while practical skills were evaluated on manikins by experienced ERC Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructors. Results The training improves significantly the theoretical knowledge regarding Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), with the percentage of correct answers being 48,4% and 82,8%,before and after the course respectively (p < 0.001). The participants willingness to perform bystander CPR significantly increased after the completion of the course (93,7% before to 97,4% after, p < 0.001). Almost all of the participants (98.9%) could recognize the correct position near the victim and 91% performed chin lift maneuver and recognized cardiac arrest. More than 90% of the students performed chest compressions with the correct rate and placing their hands on the center of the chest (90,1% and 93.4%, respectively), whereas only 76.1% of the participants achieved the desired compression depth of 5 to 6 cm. Conclusions The overall results strongly recommend that the "Kids Save Lives" program can boost prospects for bystander CPR and indicate the necessity of implementation in a greater scale nationwide.

The knowledge of the recognition of cardiac arrest is investigated in this subgroup analysis Results The training improves significantly the theoretical knowledge regarding the recognition of cardiac arrest, with the percentage of correct answers being 58,3% and 96,1%,before and after the course respectively for the first year (p < 0.001). One year later, students answered correct at 83,3% (p < 0,001)  before the course and 96,1% after.  In the practical part of the program, almost all of the participants (98.9%) could recognize the correct position near the victim and 91% perform chin lift manoeuvre and recognize cardiac arrest. The same results were observed in the second year. Conclusions The overall results reveal that the "Kids Save Lives" program can play a important role in improving the theoretical knowledge and  the practical skills of Greek students towards the recognition of cardiac arrest and also indicate that this program should take place for at least 2 years in a row in order to help students maintain their knowledge.

In Greece, this project is a suggestion from  Ministry of Education  to schools. Purpose Τo evaluate the level of theoretical knowledge of secondary school students on the subject of Basic life Support before and after a "Kids Save Lives" program and to compare the results after the first and second year of implementation. Material – Method: Data collection took place on the academic periods of 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 and was performed in secondary schools. A total of 691 students participated on the "Kids save Lives" program in both academic periods according to the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and World Health Organization (WHO) statement. A 12-point questionnaire was answered by the students before and after the "kids saves lives" program. The same program was performed one year later and the same questionnaire was given to students in order to fill it again before and just after the course Results The training improves significantly the theoretical knowledge regarding Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), with the percentage of correct answers being 48,4% and 82,8%,before and after the first year course respectively (p < 0.001). One year later, students retain a big part of their knowledge before the course (64,1% correct answers), and also improve their performance (87,5% correct answers, p < 0,001) after the course. Conclusions The overall results strongly depict the benefits of "Kids Save Lives" program by improving the theoretical knowledge. The course should performed for at least 2 years in order to attain optimal results of theoretical knowledge. Further research is needed to identify the times a student must follow the program to maximize its effectiveness

There are many diseases or health issues that commonly occur among Indians like Infectious, contagious and waterborne diseases such as typhoid, infectious hepatitis, diarrhea, worm infestations, measles, whooping cough, respiratory infections, malaria, tuberculosis, pneumonia etc. India is a country which is quite infamous for its sanitation and cleanliness. The chaotic waste management system and urban planning is responsible for the overowing gutters and scattered waste. School students has to suffer a lot because of this mismanagement. To add to the poor sanitary conditions, the population load is increasing each day. This has resulted in slums and poverty. The poor and unhealthy living is the primary cause for many health disorders (Mehta, 2014). The goals of the School Students Health problems continue to focus on disease prevention and health promotion, but have areas of expanded focus. First, the goals emphasize quality of life, wellbeing, and functional capacity—all important wellness considerations. Consistent with national health goals for the new millennium, this book is designed to aid all school students adopting healthy lifestyles that will allow them to achieve lifetime health, tness and wellness. This emphasis is based on the World Health Organization statement that “It is counterproductive to evaluate development of programs without considering their impact on the quality of life of the community. School Students can no longer maintain strict, articial divisions between physical and mental well-being (World Health Organization, 1995).” Second, the new national health goals take the “bold step” of trying to “eliminate” health disparities as opposed to reducing them as outlined in Healthy School Students.

The year 2020 was established by the World Health Organization as The Year of the Nurse and Midwife to emphasize the importance of this profession to the healthcare system. Strange but true, nurses around the world celebrated it by being frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the phrase “Nursing Now” has become more important than ever. The main aim of this article was to draw attention to the fact that 2020 was the Year of the Nurse and Midwife and, indeed, their role in the fight against the pandemic is difficult overlook. Through the use of available scientific databases, documents and scientific publications related to the subject were collected and analyzed. Nurses are able to fulfill their duties as long as they are properly rewarded and provided not only with support but also better terms and conditions of employment. The investment in nurses should also be treated as an investment in the healthcare system.

The world is puzzling over the origin of the current outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that is caused by a novel coronavirus-2019 (2019-nCoV). As of 25th March 2020, the World Health Organization has reported 4,14,179 confirmed cases and 18,440 confirmed deaths in total due to COVID-19. To this end, two unique mammals namely bats and pangolins are being investigated for their potential link to COVID-19. However, the evidence so far gathered in this context is far from clear. This paper aimed to: (i) enlighten the major aspects of life of bats and pangolins; (ii) briefly discusses their potential link to COVID-19; and also (iii) to highlight the way forward. The outcomes may contribute to future research on the subject.

  ABSTRAK Flour Albous is the liquid that comes out of the vagina is not excessive blood. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) research on reproductive health Data show that 75 women in the world are experiencing vaginal discharge is normal and 45 of them may experience abnormal vaginal discharge. Vaginal discharge is caused by some common factor, among other personal hygiene which is less good, stress, drug use, wearing tight underwear, rinse the genitals from the wrong direction, did not immediately replace the pads when the menstruation, and a dirty sanitary environment. The design of this research is a survey with cross sectional approach analytic where the independent variables (understanding, messes, symptoms, causes, complications, and cope, prevent vaginal discharge)and the dependent variable (an overview knowledge on students about whiteness) collected within 2 days. He knew an overview knowledge of whiteness on the HIGH SCHOOL students in the County's southern OKU 2016. This population is all 3rd grade HIGH SCHOOL students in the County's southern OKU 2016. Samples of penelian this is a 3rd grade HIGH SCHOOL students in the South 2016dan OKU taken total engineering population, methods of sampling by disseminating a questionnaire with the amount of 150 respondents. Univarat analysis results showed that respondents found out about understanding whiteness good of 79 respondents (52,6%) while less knowledge of 71 respondents (47,4%), response based on the knowledge of the various good whiteness 112 respondents (74,6%) and while less knowledge i.e. 38 respondents (25,4%). respondents to the investigation of knowledge about signs of vaginal discharge either 95 respondents (63,4%) and while less knowledge i.e. 55 respondents (36,6%) respondents based on the cause of vaginal discharge either 60 respondents (40%) and while less knowledge i.e. 90 respondents (60%),reponden based on knowledge about overcoming good whiteness 62 respondents (41,3%) and while less knowledge i.e. 88 respondents (58,7%),respondents to the investigation of the knowledge of good whiteness complications 78 respondents (52%) and while less knowledge i.e. 72 respondents (48%), and the respondent investigation knowledge how to prevent vaginal discharge either 52 respondents (34,6%) and while less knowledge i.e. 98 respondents (65,4%).       Keputihan adalah cairan yang keluar berlebihan dari vagina bukan merupakan darah. Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) Data penelitian tentang kesehatan reproduksi menunjukan bahwa 75% perempuan di dunia mengalami keputihan normal dan 45% diantaranya dapat mengalami keputihan abnormal.Keputihan disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor umum, antara lain personal hygiene yang kurang baik, stress, penggunaan obat-obatan, memakai pakaian dalam yang ketat, membilas alat kelamin dari arah yang salah, tidak segera mengganti pembalut saat menstruasi, dan lingkungan sanitasi yang kotor.Desain penelitian ini adalah survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dimana variabel independen (pengertian, macam-macam, gejala, penyebab, mengatasi, komplikasi, dan mencegah keputihan) dan variable dependen (gambaran pengetahuan pada siswi tentang keputihan) dikumpulkan dalam waktu 2 hari. Diketahuinya gambaran pengetahuan tentang keputihan pada siswi SMA DI Kabupaten OKU SelatanTahun 2016. Populasi ini adalah semua kelas 3 siswi SMA DI Kabupaten OKU Selatan Tahun 2016. Sampel penelian ini adalah kelas 3 siswi SMA DI Kabupaten OKU Selatan Tahun 2016dan diambil metode teknik total populasi, pengambilan sampel ini dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner dengan jumlah 150 responden. Hasil analisis univarat menunjukan responden yang mengetahui tentang pengertian keputihan baik sebesar 79 responden (52,6%), Respon berdasarkan pengetahuan tentang macam-macam keputihan baik 112 responden (74,6%) dan berdasarkan pengetahuan tentang mengatasi keputihan baik 62 responden (41,3%) dan responden berdasarakan pengetahuan cara mencegah keputihan baik 52 responden (34,6%)

The study aimed to identify the investigation of the situation on the preventive measures that Saudi dental practitioners followed during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in four major cities in Saudi Arabia, which are the capital, Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah, and the study was limited to current dental practitioners who provide medical care In hospitals and dental clinics, and the study sample did not include university professors or dental students, and through this study we sought to know the preventive measures that dental practitioners followed by following the recommendations and guidelines of the World Health Organization regarding preventive measures for dental professionals to prevent Coronavirus (Covid-19). While the questionnaire was designed using the G-Forms application, and the questionnaire was sent to remote dental practitioners via the Internet through applications and social networking sites, total of study sample (525), 235males and 290 females The results of the study showed that Saudi dentists followed the guidelines and recommendations of the World Health Organization to confront the Coronavirus (Covid-19), as Saudi dentists showed a high commitment to wearing mask, wearing gloves, sterilizing all medical devices before and after providing patient care, Directing all persons attending the clinic to wear masks, asked all patients upon attending if they have a symptoms consistent with COVID-19, Handwashing with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer for everyone, checking the patient's temperature by digital thermometer, and  screening patients by virtual/remote technology or telephone. While the results showed a decline in some preventive measures followed by Saudi dentists such as: wearing protective outerwear, using rubber dams, use a mouthwash that contains chlorhexidine, and wearing shoe covers.  Based on the results of the study, the percentage of self-evaluation of preventive measures followed by dental practitioners ranged from 70-80%
