The problem in this research was social studies student achievement in fourth grade (IV) SDN 169 Pekanbaru still low with average value 63.88 (with KKM 75). The purpose of this research was to improve the student achievement of the fourth grade (IV) SDN 169 Pekanbaru with the implementation of Problem Based Learning model. This research was classroom action research with two cycles in first semester 2015. Before implementation Problem Based Learning average 63.88, after implementation of Problem Based Learning, UH I was 71.25 that improve 11.54% from before exam with average 61.62. UH II was 80.38 that improve 25.83%. Teacher’s activities with the implementation of Problem Based Learning at first meeting of first cycle was 70% (good category), and second meeting was 80% (good category) that improve 10 point. At second cycle, teacher’s activitiesat first meeting was 90% (very good category) that improve 10 point from second meeting of first cycle. Second meeting of second cycle was 95% (very good category) which improve 5 point. Students activities at first meeting of first cycle was 65% (good category), and second meeting 75% (good category) that improve 10 point. At second cycle, student activities at first meeting was 80% (good category) that improve 5 point from second meeting of first cycle. Second meeting of second cycle was 85% (very good category) which improve 5 point. Implementation of Problem Based Learning model can improvedsocial studies student achievement of fourth grade (IV) SDN 169 Pekanbaru.Keywords: problems based learning, sosial studies student’s achievement

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the method VII.2 classassignment sheet giving students conducted in March and April 2016. Subjects were seventhgrade students of SMP Negeri 2 Dumai totaling 26 students. The parameters in this study isthe absorption and mastery learning as well as student activities and teacher activities assupporting data. The research instrument used is the study and data collection instruments.The device consists of a learning syllabus, lesson plan, test, observation of student activitysheets, activity sheets teacher observation. The survey results revealed absorption of studentsin the first cycle is 70% with moderate category and second cycle increased to 78% in thehigh category. Mastery learning of students in the first cycle is 88.46% and 88.50% in thesecond cycle students completed. Activities of students in the first cycle an average of80.76%% (very good) and the second cycle is an increase of 97.5% (excellent). It can beconcluded that the method of administration of the student assignment sheet can improvestudent learning outcomes in the classroom ecosystem VII 2 material SMP Negeri 2 Dumai.

The background of this study is the low learning outcomes IPS. It is characterized by the acquisition of the average value of social studies students at 59.10 with the percentage of students learning completeness amounted to 50.00% from 20 students. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of strategies IPS Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This study was conducted in 010 primary schools Silikuan Ukui Hulu subdistrict, with research subjects fifth grade students with a number of 20 students. This study was conducted by two cycles. The data used in this study are the activities of teachers, student activities, and learning outcomes are collected using the observation technique teacher and student activities and written tests, while the analytical techniques used in this research is descriptive analysis. The study states that the acquisition of the activities of teachers and students and learning outcomes in each cycle has increased. This is supported by: (1) the percentage of activity the teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting by 45%, in the first cycle of meetings II percentage teacher activity by 52%, the percentage of teacher activity in the second cycle of the first meeting by 65%, the percentage of teacher activity in the second cycle meeting II by 75%; (2) the percentage of student activity in the first cycle of the first meeting by 49%, in the first cycle of meetings II percentage of student activity by 60%, the percentage of the activity of students in the second cycle the first meeting by 63%, the percentage of student activity on the second cycle of meeting II by 79% ; (3) learning outcomes in basic score of 59,10.Dan which reached KKM 65 only 10 students or (50%). The first cycle of the average value obtained by the students reached 63.6. Students who achieve KKM there are 13 students or 65 (65%). Cycle II average value obtained students achieve value above 67 means the KKM. Students who reached the last 16 students or (80%).

Research conducted to develop drama text teaching materials based on the experience of the author of the drama script aims to make it easier for students to understand drama text material. In addition, based on the author's experience students are expected to emulate the author's creative process in writing a paper. The research method used in this research is the research and development method. Based on the results of the interview it can be concluded that the ability to write drama is determined based on mastery of the elements of drama and the ability to develop stories based on the author's experience. The process of writing drama is done in several steps: (1) searching for ideas based on personal experience, other people, or the surrounding environment; (2) processing ideas to find plots (characters), characters or characters that vary with their inner conflicts, settings and dialogues, interesting conflicts, and messages to be conveyed; (3) starts the process of writing drama with stages and elements of drama; (4) revision of drama products. Teaching material developed is presented from basic competencies of knowledge and basic competencies of learning skills. Based on experiments on developed teaching materials it is known that the average value of the ability to write plays gets a score exceeding the minimum criteria, so that the teaching materials used are effective. Based on observations it is known that teaching materials can help students in learning and student activities become more independent, and active.

The purpose of this research is to investigate and understand how students are using computer. The activities that a student undertakes with the help of computers which might be fulfilling some academic or non academic purpose, is of great interest. It will help in understanding the limitations and potentials offered by the technology for use of computer in classroom. This paper brings out the three major kinds of activities that students undertake with computer; self learning activities, Information collection tasks and communication and group activities. The study further analyses the effect of demographics i.e. gender, age and faculty (department) of students on the activities with computer. The results show that gender has no impact on the activities of students with computer. The age impacts only the activities related to Information collection by using computer where as the faculty of student significantly impacts all the activities viz. self learning activities, Information collection tasks and communication and group activities. The findings from this research can be used in designing future e-learning initiatives and development e-learning tools

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد دور الأنشطة الطلابية (الثقافية، والدينية، والاجتماعية، والرياضية) في تدعيم الأمن الفكري للطالبة الجامعية، وتحديد المعوقات التي تحد من فاعلية تلك الأنشطة، للوصول إلى مؤشرات تخطيطية تسهم في تفعيل تلك الأنشطة، وتعد هذه الدراسة من الدراسات الوصفية التي تعتمد على منهج المسح الاجتماعي بأسلوب العينة. وقد استخدمت الدراسة استبانة موجهة إلى عينة من طالبات جامعة الأميرة نورة، واستبانة موجهة إلى بعض المشرفات على الأنشطة الطلابية. وقد توصلت إلى وجود معوقات تحد من فاعلية الأنشطة منها: تعارض الأنشطة مع أوقات المحاضرات، افتقار الأنشطة إلى الأساليب الإبداعية، كما توصلت إلى مؤشرات تخطيطية لتفعيل دور الأنشطة الطلابية في تدعيم الأمن الفكري للطالبة؛ لإحداث نقلة في نوعية الأنشطة وما تتضمنه من أهداف تنموية لشخصية الطالبة والجامعة في الوقت نفسه، وإشراك عضوات هيئة التدريس من المتخصصات في تصميم أنشطة تتوافق واحتياجات الطالبات وقضايا المجتمع. كما خرجت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات التي تسهم في تفعيل دور الأنشطة الطلابية في تدعيم الأمن الفكري للطالبة

Plentiful choices of Student Activities Unit that offered by a campus like Multimedia Nusantara University can help students who want to choose a unit that suitable for them. The decision support system application with Forward Chaining method is built to help students choosing the Student Activity Unit that suits them. Multiple Intelligence method is used as the knowledge base at making the rules. The aspects that considered as attributes to choosing the Student Activities Unit is the initial interest and also the multiple intelligence scores that the level of conformity will be searched by using Forward Chaining method. This research has produced a knowledge-based decision support system that can help students at choosing Student Activities Unit that suitable for them with the highest accuracy of 86.67 percent. This system is designed in website with PHP and MySQL database programming language. The purpose of this study was to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The classroom action research was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2013-2014 in period of January until March, as much as four times the meetings which were divided into two cycles. Each cycle was performed twice meetings and one evaluation. The subjects of the study were the  students of class XI IPA 1. To measure students' motivation and learning outcome used student’s activity data during the learning process with guidance observation data, questionnaire data and achievement test data. Then these data were analysed using descriptive analysis method. In the first cycle shows the percentage of student activities, at the first meeting and the second meeting of 45, 71% and 74, 28%. While in the second cycle, the first meeting and the second meeting of 88, 57% and 94, 28%. The Increasing of learning outcomes in the first cycle was shown learning mastery of 59, 38% with an average value of 70, 17. Whereas in second cycle was shown learning mastery of 87,50% with an  average value of 82,76. In addition, the student’s responses are positive towards learning process by implementation of cooperative learning (model STAD) in determination of acid-base solution properties and acidity of solution using natural indicators. It is based on student questionnaire answers which feel happy or satisfied (agree) was 86, 89%. Keywords: Learning outcomes, Learning activities, STAD model, Natural indicators, Learning mastery

This study aims to describe the increase in activities and student learning outcomes in learning Natural Sciences in class V Kabuyu Inpres Elementary School through the application of the science process skills approach. The method used in this research is classroom action research which consists of 4 stages, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, with data collection techniques using evaluation tests, observation sheets, and field notes. Research subjects were 27 students. The results showed that using existing instructional devices showed an increase in student and teacher activities. Student learning activity shows the percentage score obtained on the first cycle is 70.05% in the category enough, in the second cycle showed an increase in the percentage score of 90.48% category very good, an increase of 20.43%. Teacher observation activities when applying the material in class I showed a percentage score of 78.33% in the good category, in the second cycle, the percentage score was 95.00% in the very good category, an increase of 16.67%. In the results of the analysis of evaluation tests, the first cycle students showed the percentage of classical completeness 53.70% for the percentage of classical absorption 71.06%, the second cycle showed an increase in the results of the evaluation test evaluation on the percentage of climax completeness obtained 90.74%, and the percentage of absorption laxative results showed 84.96%, KBK increased by 37.04% and DSK increased by 13.90%. Based on the acquisition of these results, it was concluded that the approach to science process skills can improve student learning activities and outcomes in the heat transfer material in class V of Kabuyu Inpres Elementary School in 2018-2019.
