Conflicts in land exploration are incisive social problems which have been the subject in many studies. Risk assessment of land conflicts is effective to resolve such problems. Specifically, fuzzy mathematics and the analytic hierarchy process were combined together to evaluate risk in land conflicts in our work, which is proved useful to solve uncertainty and imprecision problems. Based on the analysis of the principles for the risk assessment of a land conflicts index system, a set of risk assessment indexes using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) was presented. The results show that the overall risk is at medium level, and the risk of the feasibility index and controllability index need to be paid more attention to. The contribution of this article is reflected in two aspects: (1) the application of FAHP in risk assessments of land conflicts is effective and valid; (2) it is helpful for governments to establish a stricter management system of work safety for conflicts in land exploration based on the risk assessment results.

Owing to rapid growth in the Asian solar photovoltaic (PV) power market, decision-making models are required to develop efficient investment strategies. Previous studies have largely focused on technological conditions and macroeconomic indicators, but not on the increasing needs of the financial sector. In this study, we developed an evaluation model of solar PV investment and financial factors at the project level. The model applies the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and selects appropriate evaluation indicators for investment by emphasizing financial factors such as access to finance and exit strategies after the initial investment. Furthermore, we derived the relative importance of the indicators for each stakeholder. Stakeholder analysis enables comparison by quantifying the risks of each market participant. Economic factors (71.57%) were selected as the most important evaluation factors, followed by policy factors (16.26%), and technical factors (12.17%). Higher weights were assigned to indicators that directly affect profitability. Stakeholders showed significant differences in policy factors. Power generation companies showed higher weight values in policy factors than other groups. Quantification of differences in perceptions provides basic data for establishing effective investment strategies and developing policies. Therefore, the proposed model will contribute to more efficient solar PV project development.

According to the research status of the public buildings benefit evaluation, this thesis proposes that the evaluation should pay more attention to the comprehensive benefit. On this basis, a new evaluation model for the comprehensive benefit has been constructed by better using FAHP in this field, which has been proved by the Xuzhou Olympic Sports Center project. The research shows that applying FAHP to the public buildings benefit evaluation can make the result more reliable, which has good practicability and application value.

Studying optimization and decision for opening electromagnetic loop networks plays an important role in planning and operation of power grids. First, the basic principle of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is introduced, and then an improved FAHP-based scheme evaluation method is proposed for decoupling electromagnetic loop networks based on a set of indicators reflecting the performance of the candidate schemes. The proposed method combines the advantages of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. On the one hand, AHP effectively combines qualitative and quantitative analysis to ensure the rationality of the evaluation model; on the other hand, the judgment matrix and qualitative indicators are expressed with trapezoidal fuzzy numbers to make decision-making more realistic. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by the application results on the real power system of Liaoning province of China.

Based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, this paper studied and established a comprehensive evaluation model of L-shaped kitchen cabinets from four aspects, which are as follows: functionality, aesthetics, economy and safety, the weight value of each attribute was calculated, then the model was applied to a kitchen cabinet product design. The results show that the economic and safety factors have high weight values in the kitchen cabinets product design, which means those aspects of kitchen cabinets product design should be adjusted to improve overall performance. FAHP has high feasibility and effectiveness in the practices of comprehensive evaluation, which can provide a reference for the evaluation and optimization of kitchen cabinets product design.
