ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai LC50 limbah cair laundri X Kota Padang dan menganalisis pengaruh COD dan surfaktan yang terkandung di dalam limbah cair laundri terhadap nilai LC50. Uji toksisitas akut dilakukan dengan metode statis dalam waktu 24 jam pengamatan terhadap 3 (tiga) sampel limbah cair laundry X kota Padang. Hewan uji yang digunakan adalah ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio. L). Nilai LC50 dihitung dengan Metode Probit menggunakan data kematian hewan uji. Nilai LC50 limbah cair laundri X Kota Padang berkisar antara 4,188% - 6,990% dengan nilai LC50 rata-rata sebesar 5,962%. Parameter COD dan surfaktan memberikan pengaruh terhadap nilai LC50 dimana semakin besar konsentrasinya maka nilai LC50 semakin kecil dan begitu juga sebaliknya.Kata kunci: COD, Kota Padang, Limbah Cair Laundri,Nilai LC50, SurfaktanABSTRACTThis research was aimed to determine the value of LC50 of laundry wastewater X in Padang city and also to analyze the effect of COD and surfactant which contained in the wastewater towards LC50 value. Acute toxicity test was done by using static method in 24 hours observation in three wastewater samples. Goldfish (Cyprinus carpio. L) was used as the testing animal. The value of LC50 was calculated with Probit method by using the data of testing animal mortality. The range of LC50 value was 4.188-6.990% with the average value of 5.962%. COD and surfactant proved affecting the LC50 value which indicated by the higher LC50 by the lower concentration of COD and surfactant and vice versa.Keywords: COD, Laundry wastewater, LC50 value, Padang city, Surfactant
