In this paper we investigate the different behaviors of some satellites, subject to a spin-orbit interaction. In particular we compute, in the space of initial data, the basin of attraction of the 3:2 resonance for the Mercury–Sun and Moon–Earth coupling systems. The results are obtained either by direct integration of the equations of motion or by a numerical implementation of the "straddle" technique to draw the boundary of the basin.
