We investigate the three-body Coulomb breakup of a two-neutron halo nucleus, 6 He . We calculate the breakup cross section and the invariant mass spectra by using the complex-scaled solutions of the Lippmann-Schwinger equation, and discuss the relations between the structures in these observables and the n-n and α-n correlations in 6 He .

The two-neutron halo nucleus 11 Li has been investigated in this work. Jacobi coordinates is used to describe the three-body system, using two configurations that are the T-configuration and Y-configuration. The calculations have been calculated based on a cluster model. The 11 Li nucleus is considered as three-body system core (9 Li )+n+n. The core here has been considered as a deformed core. The calculations confirmed that the core has some deformation and has an oblate shape which in turn has effects on the structure of three-body system.

The pp¯invariant mass spectra in the processes e+e−→ pp¯, e+e−→ nn¯, J/ψ → pp¯ω, J/ψ → pp¯ρ, and J/ψ → pp¯γ close to the pp¯is discussed. The optical potentials for NN¯pair in the superposition of S and D waves (due to tensor forces) at spin unity of the pair, as well as for NN¯pair in the S wave at spin zero of the pair, are proposed. The parameters of the potentials are obtained by fitting the cross sections of NN¯scattering together with the pp¯invariant mass spectra in e+e−→ pp¯annihilation and J/ψ decays. Good agreement with the available experimental data is achieved. Using our potential and the Green’s function approach we also describe the cross section of e+ e−→ 6π and the η’π+ π− invariant mass spectrum in the decay J/ψ → γη’π+π− in the energy region near the NN¯threshold.

The data sample of 6 pb -1 collected by Cryogenic Magnetic Detector (CMD-2) at VEPP-2M collider in the c.m. energy range 1.04-1.38 GeV have been used to measure cross section of the process e+e-→π+π-π0 and to study its dynamics. It is shown that for description of the invariant mass spectra of π+π- pairs one should take into account the ωπ0 contribution arising due to ρ-ω - interference.

We have investigated non-mesonic reactions of the stopped K− on 4 He in terms of correlations of coincident ΛN pairs. As the result, Λp and Λn branches of the two-nucleon absorption process were clearly observed in the ΛN invariant mass spectra. The spin-isospin dependence of the process was observed for the first time.

Recently, the energy spectrum of \boldsymbol{^{10}}10Li was measured upto \boldsymbol{4.6}4.6 MeV, via one-neutron transfer reaction \boldsymbol{d(^{9}\textrm{Li},~p)^{10}\textrm{Li}}𝐝(9Li,𝐩)10Li. Considering the ambiguities on the \boldsymbol{^{10}}10Li continuum spectrum with reference to new data, we report the configuration mixing in the ground state of the two-neutron halo nucleus \boldsymbol{^{11}}11Li for two different choices of the \boldsymbol{^{9}{\textrm{Li}}+n}9Li+𝐧 potential. For the present study, we employ a three-body (\boldsymbol{\textrm{core}+n+n}core+𝐧+𝐧) structure model developed for describing the two-neutron halo system by explicit coupling of unbound continuum states of the subsystem (\boldsymbol{\textrm{core}+n}core+𝐧), and discuss the two-neutron correlations in the ground state of \boldsymbol{^{11}}11Li.
