Delphi technique was also adopted through inviting 12 experts in oral health education to evaluate and formulate a final list of elementary schools’ oral health educators’ competencies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Results A competency framework was developed. Fifty-five competencies were identified including 35 in cognitive domain, 12 skills and 8 attitude competencies. A list of essential competencies has been identified. These competencies should be addressed in training programs targeting oral health educators, which can consequently produce competent educators who can successfully promote and provide health care to all schoolchildren during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This research mainly aims at conducting an extensive evaluation of the two English textbooks for senior high school grade tenth revised edition based on Kurikulum 2013 yang disempurnakan (curriculum 2013 revised edition). This study employed a descriptive qualitative study. The English textbooks for the tenth grade published by Erlangga and Ministry of Education and Culture were selected as the sources of data. The evaluation focuses on how far the textbooks provide learning to promote cognitive skill. Basic competencies in cognitive domain of curriculum 2013 were adapted as an instrument to evaluate the textbooks. Findings found that the textbooks’ authors of the two textbooks have tried to present opportunities for students to achieve core competencies in cognitive domain of curriculum 2013 in several units. Nevertheless, there are certain units that need additional instructions to provide more opportunities for students in acquiring low and high-order thinking skills. On the basis of the findings, the textbooks may revise or improve the textbooks’ content by adding more experiences for students to achieve the levels of taxonomy bloom expected in the core and basic competencies of curriculum 2013. The findings are also useful for teachers to add or modify the instructions that suit the purposes of curriculum 2013 specifically in cognitive domain.

Three aspects of the assessment of the object learning process and outcomes are also applied in early childhood education in STPPA or standards of child development achievement level formulated in core competencies, basic competencies and indicators.

One of the most prominent implications of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum primarily for the SD / MI level is the use of integrated thematic learning. PAI subject matter in MI / SD must refer to core competencies where basic competencies are classified into four competency aspects (spiritual, social, knowledge and skills attitudes). That is, the material of PAI MI in the MI 2013 curriculum is expanded, by implementing integrated thematic learning implementation steps which include three main components, namely preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. The purpose of this study is to provide an analysis of the meaning, function, purpose and use of the stages of implementation of Integrated Islamic Education Material Development for MI / SD and the implementation of the steps for implementing Integrated Islamic Education Material Product learning for MI / SD which includes three main components. In this study the authors used data collection methods with documentation methods, as in the data collection techniques in library research (library research). Abstract The aim was to, in an oral health promoting setting in low socioeconomic areas, implement a method aiming at improving quality of work by assessing both formative and summative results. The overall aim is to decrease health inequity. Methods Five teams of dental hygienists (n = 5) and dental nurses (n = 3), who operated in socioeconomic low-status areas, participated. The teams were performing health promoting activities on arenas as for example family-centrals. These teams were introduced on how to report health promoting activities according to the Health Equilibrium Methodology (HEM), which is based on Social Cognitive Theory. Following questions were put and answered in every report: Which health determinants were targeted? Did any person seem to perceive him-/herself excluded? Did anything unexpected happen? What to think about next time? Quantitative data were also documented: Almost six-hundred individuals were included in a total of 36 reports. Of these 50% were adults/parents and the rest children, most of them between 1-6 years old. The reports were written directly into a database after every activity and then processed by a facilitator and later discussed with the teams in workshops every third month. Results Analysis of the reports shows that the implementation of health promoting activities according to HEM included the following: -Identification of important health determinants. - Attention on how to get everyone involved and if anything unexpected happened. - Suggestions for change for the next time. Throughout the workshops the team-members exchanged experiences. Conclusions The HEM-method facilitates depicting and discussing the process of health promotion with focus on health equity. Thereby the method has a potential to support development of high-quality health-promoting activities in populations with low socioeconomic status. It may also lead to a better professional self-confidence.

This paper is an innovative concept in the field of learning, especially Indonesian in elementary schools. The Shuttle Flow Model is an invention, the result of contemplating experiences during and after teaching, observing, and training teachers in learning practices. The existence of a ‘shuttling’ movement between values and competencies during learning and prioritizing the elements of connectedness, wholeness, and beingness are the main features of this model. The purpose of this model is to help teachers teach Indonesian in an integrative-holistic manner as well as a solution to teacher constraints in integrative learning in primary schools. This model displays the flexibility in integrating the four aspects of language skills with the core competencies in the 2013 Curriculum which flow back and forth in the direction formed by the flow of competencies. This direction shows the relationship between aspects of language skills from and to core competencies. That is why it is called the Shuttle Flow Modle or the Shuttle Flow Model. The presence of this model is so important to guide teachers in developing the self-potential of students holistically. By using this model, teachers will never run out of material in teaching, they can even find out what aspects and competencies the students are weak in. There are five strengths of this model and four weaknesses. Strengths are intensified to minimize weaknesses. It is recommended that this learning model be an innovative choice in learning in elementary schools.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of problem-based learning to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Basic Competencies for Maintaining Brake Systems at SMK Negeri 2 Kupang. This study used a 2x2 factorial research design with experimental methods with a quantitative approach, consisting of two classes: the experimental and control classes. The control class is taught using a direct learning model, and the experimental class is taught using a problem-based learning model. The research sample was 70 students, 36 students from TKR 2 class (experiment class), and 34 students from class XI TKR 3 (control class). The instrument used consisted of a questionnaire of analytical skills, a test of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain, affective domain, and psychomotor domain. This study's results indicate that (1) student learning outcomes using problem-based learning models are significantly higher than learning outcomes for students who use the direct learning model; (2) the learning outcomes of students who have high analytical skills are significantly higher than the learning outcomes of students who have low analytical skills; and (3) there is an interaction between the use of problem-based learning models and direct learning models on learning outcomes in the basic competency subject of the brake system at SMKN 2 Kupang.
