Due to the lack of research in the field of music through CLIL and ICT in Secondary Education in Spain, we propose to merge this subject with an innovative methodology. The general objective is to present a different approach to students in order to increase their motivation for the subject. The specific objectives are to teach music in English by integrating content, cognition and vocabulary through communication and the use of new technologies. This approach makes the design and implementation didactic, audiovisual and multimedia. Cuadernia: digital notebook composed of flash files, videos and audios, and gamification strategies. Quizziz: multiplayer questionnaire of class contents, based on teaching music through a cooperative methodology and gamification, are applied as options with a great educational projection, with information and innovative pedagogical experiences and potential to work together in the classroom with different levels of the subject. The results that follow the Likert scale reflect high student satisfaction with regard to teaching methodology, content acquisition, teacher training, ICT and resources. As a conclusion, of the coincident results between the professor and the students, we would like to implement it in the coming years.

This paper is an example of how to use new technologies to produce didactic innovative resources that ease the teaching and learning process of mathematics. This paper is focused on augmented reality technology with the aim of achieving the creation of didactic resources related to the polyhedra taught in a course of compulsory secondary education in Spain. First, we introduce the basis of this technology and present the theoretical framework in which we make an exhaustive analysis that justifies its usage with educative purposes. Secondly, we explain how to build the polyhedra in augmented reality using the Unity game engine and the Vuforia software development kit (SDK), which enables the use of augmented reality. Using both tools, we create an augmented reality application and some augmented reality notes with the purpose of helping in the process of visualization and comprehension of the three-dimensional geometry related to polyhedra. Finally, we design an innovative, didactic proposal for teaching the polyhedra in the third course of compulsory Secondary Education in Spain, using the resources created with the augmented reality technology.


This article was written with the aim of to develop a technology for the development of physics competencies in general secondary education using multimedia resources. The following tasks are considered in the article as: studying the development of students' competence as an important pedagogical problem based on the study of pedagogical and scientific-methodical literature using multimedia resources; determination of the structure of basic and subject competencies necessary for the development of educational content and student competence, aimed at improving the teaching methodology; the inclusion of selected basic and subject competencies in the content of education and the definition of pedagogical and psychological conditions giving such an opportunity, the improvement of educational and multimedia technologies on the example of the subject of physics; improving models and methods for developing student competence based on general competency-based approaches in relation to basic and subject competencies in educational institutions; organization of lessons with the help of multimedia resources aimed at developing students' competence on the basis of a competency-based approach, and preparing recommendations for their implementation in the educational process

Science, technology and human values have been the subject of enquiry in the last few years for social scientists and eventually the relationship between science and gender is the subject of an ongoing debate. This is due to the event of globalization which led to the exponential growth of new technologies like assisted reproductive technology (ART). ART, one of the most iconic technological innovations of the twentieth century, has become increasingly a normal social fact of life. Since ART invades multiple human discourses—thereby transforming culture, society and politics—it is important what is sociological about ART as well as what is biological. This article argues in commendation of sociology of technology, which is alert to its democratic potential but does not concurrently conceal the historical and continuing role of technology in legitimizing gender discrimination. The article draws the empirical insights from local articulations (i.e., Odisha state in eastern India) for the understandings of motherhood, freedom and choice, reproductive right and rights over the body to which ART has contributed. Sociologically, the article has been supplemented within the broader perspectives of determinism, compatibilism alongside feminism.

High-resolution pixel LED headlamps are lighting devices that can produce high-resolution light distribution to adapt to road and traffic conditions, intelligently illuminate traffic areas, and assist drivers. Due to the complexity of roads and traffic conditions, the functional diversity of high-resolution pixel LEDs headlamps and traffic safety has come into question and is the subject of in-depth research conducted by car manufacturers and regulators. We summarize the current possible functions of high-resolution pixel LED headlamps and analyze ways in which they could be improved. This paper also discusses the prospect of new technologies in the future.

The objective of this study is to determine the opinions of university students undergoing primary school teacher training to develop language teaching material for patients from the Children’s Hospital of Málaga, Spain, using the Service Learning (SL) methodology. Students evaluated this methodology by answering a 16-question questionnaire validated by external researchers. Academic performance was analysed using the Student’s t-test by comparing grades between an intervention and a control group. The results indicated improvements in several areas, including: the level of engagement, transversal competencies, academic performance, level of student satisfaction, and acquisition of teaching material related to the subject.

Consumer satisfaction has long been a question of great interest in a wide range of fields. Existing research recognizes the critical role played by student satisfaction in higher education. It has been noted that students have changing and variable needs. A considerable amount of literature has been published on the fact that higher education institutions have to react promptly and satisfy students’ needs in order to keep their students and rankings. As student satisfaction is highly dependent on teaching quality, it is essential for higher education institutions to implement new teaching methodologies. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to analyze the concept of a teaching methodology, namely co-creation, and to examine its applicability in the field of economics. With the methodology of co-creation, teachers are able to involve students into the creation of curriculum, which might enhance student involvement and increase student satisfaction.

An integral part of the formation of the New Ukrainian School is an inclusive component, which forms a new philosophy of society based on the understanding of diversity and equality for all. Involvement in education and constant support of children with special educational needs should take place at all stages of receiving complete secondary education, especially in primary school. The paper discusses the features of inclusive foreign language teaching in primary school. Based on the research analysis, pedagogical observation of the educational process in English lessons in inclusive classes, the conclusion is made that it is important for primary school English teachers to use clear and comprehensive instructions before doing exercises and tasks, introduce and maintain the learning routine (greeting, a permanent place for writing homework, questions at the beginning and at the end of the lesson, etc.), change the types of tasks frequently, adapt previously used exercises to the new learning conditions, use scaffolding strategies. The article presents a set of exercises and tasks to use in English lessons when studying the topic “My home” in an inclusive 3rd grade of a general secondary education institution, as well as checklists for self-and peer evaluation of the inclusiveness of the learning environment for English teachers. The exercises and tasks of the set were tested in the 3rd-B grade of Ternopil schools No. 16 and No. 7. The final assessment of the educational achievements of students in English in the second semester of the 2020 / 2021 academic year confirmed the effectiveness and appropriateness of using these exercises and tasks in the English lessons. Checklists for self-and peer evaluation of the inclusiveness of the learning environment were tested and approved by English teachers and recommended for use in the educational process by foreign languages teaching methodology groups.

At a key moment when education systems are moving towards the development of 21st-century skills at school, we propose to develop them with a series of enquiry activities connected to the real world on the subject of Chemistry in Compulsory Secondary Education. The four selected topics have practical aspects, as they are related to industrial chemistry, and are proposed in educational practice using the 5E model. The results obtained in a pilot test with 22 students show that the context created facilitates the development of 21st century competences. It is understood that this novel proposal can be successfully employed in other contexts.

An alternative teaching-learning methodology for the subject "Hydrodynamic, Resistance and Propulsion" in Degrees concerned with NAval Engineering, is presented. The goal of the pedagogical approach is the acquirement of appropiate skills related to the ability of analyzing and designing different types of ships. The blended learning concept is employed, including the supervised learnin as key ingredient. The roles of both Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), as educational tuools, are some specific features of the methodology. A pedagocial method that involves project based learning, using CFD, is applied. The evaluation of the student satisfaction is conducted by questionaries.

Este trabalho visa discutir o lugar e/ou papel da cartografia no ensino da geografia. Para isso, traz resultados teóricos e práticos do projeto de pesquisa e extensão intitulado “Popularização da cartografia e suas novas tecnologias na escola pública”, realizado no Colégio Estadual Dona Mora Guimarães (Cajazeiras X, Salvador BA). Considera-se que a cartografia escolar, apesar dos avanços epistemológicos, vem passando por diversas dificuldades em sua implementação. Para analisar os entraves, potencialidades e exemplos de práxis pedagógicas, realizaram-se oficinas com foco nos conceitos da alfabetização cartográfica – visão vertical/horizontal, lateralidade, decodificação dos símbolos, proporcionalidade, representação bidimensional X tridimensional e uso de novas tecnologias. Defende-se que a alfabetização cartográfica pode ser utilizada como uma metodologia inovadora para a geografia escolar. Em paralelo, são discutidas as dificuldades encontradas em âmbito universitário e escolar. Por fim, dividem-se experiências exitosas, com mais de 400 alunos envolvidos diretamente, que utilizaram recursos técnico metodológicos a partir do espaço vivenciado e da abordagem construtivista, a saber: mapeamento do corpo humano, da sala de aula e construção de maquetes. Conclui-se que o tema possui muitos desafios, mas carece principalmente da ampliação deste debate para ultrapassar as barreiras dissociativas, colocando a cartografia como meio de comunicação da ciência geográfica. Abstract THE ROLE OF CARTOGRAPHY IN THE TEACHING OF GEOGRAPHY: PERSPECTIVES FROM AN EXTENSION PROJECT This paper aims to discuss the role of cartography in the teaching of geography. In order to do so it brings theoretical and practical results of the research project and extension called “Popularization of cartography and its new technologies in public school,” held in the State School Dona Mora Guimarães (Cazajeiras X, Salvador- BA). It is considered that the teaching of cartography, despite the epistemological advances, has experienced several difficulties in its implementation. To analyze the barriers, potentialities, and examples of pedagogical practice, workshops were held focusing on the concepts of cartographic literacy - vision vertical/horizontal, laterality, decoding of symbols, proportionality, two-dimensional X three-dimensional representation and use of new technologies. It is advocated that cartographic literacy can be used as an innovative methodology for the teaching of geography in schools. In parallel, the difficulties found in a university and school context are discussed. Finally, successful experiences are shared with more than 400 students involved directly, who used technical and methodological resources, from where they live and constructivist approach, namely: mapping of the human body, of the classroom and building of models. It is concluded that the theme has many challenges, but lacks mainly the expansion of this debate to overcome the dissociative barriers, putting the cartography as means of communication of the geographical science.
