The aim of the work to determine the dynamic characteristics of overall physical condition indicators in 11–13-year-old female weightlifters after injuries of the musculoskeletal system at the training stage of physical therapy. Materials and methods. The experimental population comprised 45 female weightlifters (aged 11–13 years, qualification ‒ I, II, III junior categories) from SСYSSOR “Spartak” of the Zaporizhzhia regional council, CYSS “Kolos” of Kamiansko-Dniprovskyi district of Zaporizhzhia region, Berdiansk CYSS of Zaporizhzhia Region City Council, and students of Kharkiv Regional Higher School of Physical Culture and Sports majoring in weightlifting. Patients after musculoskeletal injuries were divided into two groups: main (MG, n = 22) and control (CG, n = 23). Patients of the control group underwent standard treatment (generally prescribed in medical establishments). For main group patients in the training period, the program of physical therapy has been developed and implemented, with the current control of overall physical condition indicators. Research methods. Analysis of literature and sources of information presented on the Internet; clinical observations; pedagogical testing; methods of mathematical statistics. Results. Analysis of overall physical condition indicators of athletes of 11–13-year-old weightlifters of the main and control groups during the recovery and training periods allows us to state that main group athletes have higher growth rates, and dynamic characteristics of their overall physical condition are linear with constant focus on improvement. According to the indicators of “running 30 m, s” test, the following growth indicators were recorded: main group athletes (-0.48), control group athletes (-0.29), the difference (-0.19). According to the indicators of “standing long jump, cm” test, the following growth indicators were recorded: main group athletes (+14), control group athletes (+5), difference (+9). According to the results of the test “flexion-extension of the arms in the supine position, n” the following indicators were obtained: main group athletes (+4.44), control group athletes (+2.86), difference (+1.58). Conclusions. Intensification of the training process and forcing the training of junior athletes in weightlifting are the leading factors that result in injuries of the musculoskeletal system, multisystem pathologies and the development of pathomorphic phenomena. Indicators of overall physical condition of weightlifters aged 11–13 allow us to state that main group athletes have a higher difference in growth, and the tendency of their overall physical condition has a linear focus on improvement. Indicators of overall physical condition of control group athletes are nonlinear, according to “running 30 m, s” and “standing long jump, cm” the test results.

Introduction. According to Russian and foreign studies, the frequency of musculoskeletal system pathology continues to grow. To improve the life quality and reduce the level of the musculoskeletal system diseases, an urgent task is to increase the volume of available non-drug methods of prophylaxis. The aim of the research was to develop measures to prevent the formation of somatic dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system and their relapses in office workers using osteopathic correction.Materials and methods. In the period from 2016 to 2020, a prospective controlled randomized study was carried out on the basis of the ANO TIMM. The work is based on the results of osteopathic care in combination with a controlled change in the ergonomics of the workplace after the correction of somatic dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system in office workers. The study involved 426 people who were divided into two comparable groups: the main and control groups of 212 and 214 people, respectively. All patients underwent osteopathic diagnostics before the start of the treatment, during therapy, and at its completion in accordance with the approved clinical guidelines. Patients of both groups received osteopathic care provided in accordance with the developed algorithm. The patients of the main group underwent correction of their workplaces ergonomics.Results. The study showed that office workers are characterized by the presence of somatic dysfunctions at the regional and local levels. Somatic dysfunctions of the spine, pelvis, abdominal and pelvic diaphragms were most often observed. As a result of osteopathic correction in combination with a change in the ergonomics of the workplace in patients of the main group, the frequency of recurrences of the somatic dysfunctions formation decreased significantly (p<0,05) compared with patients in the control group. It also was accompanied by a significant decrease in the pain syndromes recurrence.Conclusion. The use of osteopathic correction in combination with the workplace ergonomics change effectively contributes to the prevention of the formation of the musculoskeletal system somatic dysfunctions and their recurrence in office workers.

Generally, adequate motor coordination (MC) ability is one among the critical factors for the overall development of children. In this paper, we have thoroughly analyzed the effects of equine-assistant activity (EAA) training on MC in children. For this purpose, MC test, specifically for children, was used to the Körperkoordinationstest für Kinder (KTK), and a total of 100 children, particularly those in 8 to 10 age, were equally separated into equine-assistant activity group (EAAG) and control group (CG), respectively. The EAAG group has attended a 14-week EAA training program, while the CG joined in physical education activity once per week. The experimental results have indicated that four indices of KTK test (i.e., backward walk [WB], height jump [HH], jumping sideways [JS] and moving sideways [MS], and motor quotient [MQ] score) showed significant differences ( ∗ P < 0.05 ) after a 14-week EAA training. Furthermore, the indices of physical fitness test, standing long jump (SLJ), and sit and reach (SAR) showed significant differences ( ∗ P < 0.05 ), but the handgrip (HG) increased slightly without significant difference ( P > 0.05 ) after a 14-week EAA training. In conclusion, there were improvements in MC, lower limb strength, and flexibility by EAAG for those who participated in a 14-week EAA training, and this study has demonstrated the effectiveness of the KTK assessment of MC in children 8 to 10 years.

Introduction. In the changes occurring in competitive sport, proper choice and selection for sport and the age of starting the training are of great importance. Aim. Determining the magnitude of changes in physical fitness and physical development of first-grade children practicing swimming in relation to the non-training peers. Material and methods. The study included two groups of children - the first one was a children practicing swimming (26 boys and 23 girls) and the second one was a non-training class (26 boys and 23 girls). In both groups, MTSF trials were conducted in September and June. The results of the study focused on three aspects: the evaluation of sexual dimorphism, the identification of differences and their direction between groups and sex. Results. There were no statistically significant differences in physical development among children who practiced swimming. There were statistically significant differences in body heights in the non-training group - only in the first study (boys – 120.30; girls – 117.86) also in body weight in the first study (boys – 24.57; girls – 21.22) and also in the second study (boys – 26,80; girls – 22,83). In the assessment of physical fitness, in the group of children training swimming, sexual dimorphism was found in: standing long jump (only in the first study boys – 151,65, girls – 134,96); hand strength measurement (only in the first study boys – 23.5; girls – 19,36); bent arm hang, both in the first study (boys – 13,40; girls – 7,70) and also in the second study (ch-14,46; dz-6,31); forward stretches (only in the first study boys – 5; girls – 1.34); 4x10m run both in the first study (boys – 14,54; girls – 15,23) and also in the second study (boys – 13,66; girls – 15,11). Whereas, in the control group in: standing long jump (also only in the first study boys – 107.78; hand strength measurement in both the first study (boys – 18,95; girls – 12,26) as in the second study (boys – 12,09; girls – 12,77); bent arm hang (only in the first study (boys – 8.21; girls – 3.02); forward stretches in both the first (boys – 2,43; girls – 1,30) as in the second study (boys – 3,30; girls – 2,19). Conclusions. In both groups, boys as well as girls reported statistically significant changes in physical development, which is a normal symptom of growth, but only in the group of girls a statistically significant increase in BMI occured. In evaluating swimming training and its effect on fitness, it can be stated that the boys were positively influenced by such tests as (bent arm hang and sit-ups) and negatively by 50 m and 600 m run. On the other hand, among girls: positive only in the sit-ups test, and negative, as in the group of boys in at 50 m and 600 m run. In the group of girls, it was also noted that the trainees, despite the fact that in the first study achieved a significantly better result in the bent arm hang test, in the second attempt they obtained a considerably weaker result, while the non-training girls in the second measurement achieved a statistically better result than the first one.

Studies dealing with the effectiveness of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) 11+ prevention program to improve performance outcomes in children aged < 14 years are limited. This study aimed to point out the effects of the application of short-term FIFA 11+ warm-up program on physical performance in young football players. Participants were 36 youth male football players, divided into a FIFA 11+ (n = 19; mean (SD) age: 11.15 (0.79) y) and a control group (CG: n = 17; age: 10.87 (0.8) y) and trained for 4 weeks. Before and after the training period, standing long jump performance, agility, repeated sprint ability, sit and reach, and “30–15” intermittent fitness tests were assessed. A mixed ANOVA showed significant differences between the groups in the standing long jump test (FIFA 11+: 5.6% vs. CG: −1.9%) in favor of FIFA 11+ over CG. Additionally, the FIFA 11+ performance of the Illinois agility test was significantly better compared to the CG performance (FIFA 11+: −1.9% vs. CG: 0.03%). The main findings of this study suggest that just 4 weeks of implementation of the FIFA 11+ improves physical performance compared with traditional warm-up routines in young soccer players.
