Background: Preputial stone disease is the rarest type of urolithiasis. Adult males with severe phimosis and poor hygiene are mainly affected.Case Presentation: A 90-year-old male sought treatment for steadily worsening urinary frequency, intermittency, incontinence, and pain at the tip of his penis of 3-days duration. Clinical examination revealed a palpable distended urinary bladder, a partial phimosis and a round, hard on palpation, and partly ulcerative lesion at the tip of the foreskin. A single, 1 cm in maximum diameter stone, was incidentally discovered beneath the prepuce and subsequently removed from the preputial sac. The patient refused further treatment with circumcision, and opted for conservative therapy of benign prostate hyperplasia. Conclusion: Personal hygiene remains the cornerstone in the prevention of the preputial calculi formation, while circumcision represents the mainstay of treatment for definite stone removal and elimination of the precipitating causes.

Fibroids arising from cervix are rare tumours accounting for 2% of all fibroids. A cervical leiomyoma is commonly single and is either interstitial or subserous, rarely it becomes submucous and polypoidal. Anterior cervical fibroid may press on urinary bladder and urethra and displace the urethro-vesical junction giving rise to urinary frequency and retention. Management of symptomatic cervical fibroid is hysterectomy or myomectomy and need an expert hand. Here we report a case of huge anterior cervical fibroid of 15x15x7cm with an unusual presentation of menorrhagia of only 2 days and no urinary symptoms. Inspite of the fibroid being huge and impacted, hysterectomy was done successfully without any injury to bladder and ureters.

Aim of the study.Estimation of the decrease of urinary bladder contractility in patients with benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). Patients and methods. In 146 BPH patients (mean age 62,1 0,8) urodynamic investigation including uroflowmetry and pressure-flow study was performed. The results of miction cystometry were evaluated using Shafer nomogram, the emptying idex was calculated as relation of voiding volume to maximal cystometric capacity. Results.56,2% BPH patients showed the decreased detrusor contractility. The results of urinary bladder contractility estimation by Shafer nomogram are dependent on the degree of infravesical obstruction (IVO). The emptying index is not related to the presence and degree of IVO and characterizes the degree of urinary bladder emptying as well as contraction duration. Concomitant lumbar osteochondrosis and diabetes detoriates urinary bladder emptying. Reliable contractility estimation may only be performed based on urodynamic study since basic BPH patients examination is not sufficient. Conclusion. In has to be considered during treatment strategy planning that in many BPH patients low urinary truct disfunction is determined by the decrease of urinary bladder contractility and not by IVO.

The objective of the present study was to report a typical case of obstructive urolithiasis and subsequent rupture of the urinary bladder, causing the death of a non-descriptive male calf. The calves were brought to a teaching veterinary hospital with the symptoms of abdominal pain, the absence of urination manifested by discomfort, straining, kicking at the belly, twisting of the penis and frequent but unsuccessful urination. The clinical examination revealed that the calves were dull, depressed and distension of the abdomen. Post scrotal urethrotomy was performed aseptically and a large calculus was removed from the position of sigmoid flexure of the penis. Another two calves were not subjected to surgery due to their ill health and all were died after 2-3 days. A postmortem examination revealed that the urinary bladder was ruptured and subsequently urine was mixed with peritoneal fluid. A haemorrhagic condition was present at the point of rupture and peritoneum and bladder was adhesion at the point of rupture.

Introduction. Purine dysmetabolism is occured by increased production of uric acid, which leads to hyperuricemia and hyperuricuria. The most common forms of purine metabolism disorders are the uratenephropathy, gout, and asymptomatic hyperuricemia. Purpose. To evaluate the data published from 1992 to 2021 on the prevalence, forms of purine metabolism disorders, diagnostics and methods of their treatment. Two hundred and seventy original publications were identified, of which 37 were selected and analyzed. Materials and methods. The search results in the scientific database PubMed, Web of Sciеnce, Sciеnce Direct were analyzed for the queries «urates», «gout», «uric acid», «purine metabolism», «hyperuricosuria», «treatment of urate nephrolithiasis», «luteolin; quercetin», «Smilax riparia». Results. Urates are formed as a result of the metabolism of purine bases, two-thirds of which are excreted with urine. The most common form of purine dysmetabolism is urate nephrolithiasis, which accounts for up to 10% of all forms of kidney stone disease. The main risk factors include low urinary pH, decreased urine output and hyperuricosuria. Treatment options for such stones depend on the size, chemical composition, location, and concomitant diseases. The main methods of treatment are conservative therapy and surgical interventions. Conclusions. Since the available conservative therapy may not be suitable for all patients, and surgical intervention carries certain risks, a unique herbal complex «Uralix®» was created to treat patients with urate stones in the kidneys and urinary tract. Its components luteolin, quercetin and sarsaparilla extract reduce uric acid levels and improve renal function in urate nephropathy.

Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors (IMTs) are particularly rare tumors that have been described in various anatomic locations, of which the urinary bladder is the most common. These benign tumors are amendable to conservative therapy but are notoriously difficult to diagnose given their mimicry of malignant sarcomas and sarcomatoid carcinomas, making an accurate diagnosis paramount to spare a patient radical and unnecessary treatment. We hereby present the case of a 37-year-old female patient who was diagnosed with an IMT of the urinary bladder during workup for painless gross hematuria. Patient was successfully managed with a laparoscopic partial cystectomy and is free of recurrence 5 years after surgery. IMTs are rare benign tumors that share the same clinical presentation as malignant bladder tumors. Deep biopsy and experienced pathologist are crucial in establishing diagnosis and avoiding patient radical treatment. This case is a classical demonstration of a remarkably rare tumor that was adequately managed with conservative therapy, achieving excellent clinical outcomes.

Adenoma of the prostate gland is one of the most common urological diseases among males. The percentage of those suffering from BPH increases in direct proportion to the age of the patients. Despite the high study of the etiology, pathogenesis and manifestations of this disease, it is not always possible to achieve the desired effect using conservative therapy. Taking into account the middle age of the majority of patients dealing  with  this  problem, the presence of a number of concomitant diseases, if there is a technical  feasibility, priority is given to the least traumatic surgical interventions. The literature review analyzes the existing approaches to surgical and minimally invasive treatment of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.
