An analysis of the company's existing palletizing process has been performed, and the most appropriate method of process modernization has been selected accordingly. Also, a robot was selected according to the type of container to be palletized and its weight. A prototype of a robot manipulator gripper has been designed. The load calculation of the gripper levers was performed, the pneumatic cylinders for the lever control were selected. Lever strength analysis was also performed. The gripper mass was determined.

This paper proposes a design and control method of a supporting arm which reduces factory worker load. The supporting arm is a robot manipulator, which is driven by pneumatic cylinders, and is attached to the worker’s hip. In some situation, the factory worker is forced to work with an uncomfortable posture. By using the supporting arm, the worker leg loads are relaxed, and the worker posture is stabilized. To support 50 % weight of the worker, the link system of the supporting arm is designed, and the pneumatic cylinders for actuation are selected. There are two required specifications: (i) support force is sufficient for supporting target load, and (ii) desired stiffness characteristics in the hip height direction can be obtained. The support force is controlled by a two degrees of freedom control system to satisfy the required specifications. An experimental system of the supporting arm was developed, and its performance was evaluated by experiments. As a result, the experimental system shows capability of supporting the target weight and controllability of stiffness.

In order to alleviate the problem that there is increasingly floating garbage pollution on the sea, this paper proposes a new design of floating garbage cleaning equipment. This equipment is a slender structure, and whether its structural strength can meet the design requirements requires special attention. In order to ensure the rationality and safety of the design, load calculation and strength analysis are carried out based on the design wave method. The calculation results show that the longitudinal torque load of this equipment is the largest, which is 2.5 times of the second largest vertical bending moment. At the same time, there are three large stress areas in the floating structure, which are the connection between the pontoon and the connecting buntons, the connecting buntons intersecting with the Y axis and the pontoons on both sides. For the abovementioned high-stress areas, a structural strengthening plan is proposed. After the improvement, the stress in the high-stress areas of the structure is significantly reduced, with a maximum reduction of 52%. The strength of the improved structure meets the design requirements. The research results of this paper can provide relevant references for the development of floating garbage cleaning equipment in the future.

Cooling is the best preservation method than others because the food that has been cooled will remain fresh and will not experience a change in taste, color and aroma, besides all the activities that cause decay will stop so that the cooled food will last longer. (Hartanto, 1984). With the proper cooling engine planning, it can help with spatial adjustments, adjustments to loading, estimation of the power to be used, and budget plans. That is what is commonly called the cooling load calculation. Calculation of cooling load needs to be carried out before planning. This is necessary because the magnitude of the pending load is very influential on the selection of the cooling engine so that the freezing point for preserving food can be accurate. Pendiginan burden is influenced by external and internal factors. With the experimental method, it is obtained the results of the external cooling load as the external cooling load is 11.6 kW, the inner cooling load is 138.8 kW and the performance work coefficient (COP) is 2.
