The present study investigates and provides support for the Savanna-IQ interaction hypothesis regarding pro-environmental values. Study 1 showed that the highest attained education level is a significant predictor of pro-environmental concern, while Study 2 showed that the trait of openness to experience plays a unique role in predicting biospheric values, but not other values, lending support for the Savanna-IQ interaction hypothesis. Acting to preserve the natural environment is an evolutionarily novel challenge, and therefore, is more actively addressed by individuals who more readily adopt novel ideas and seek out new ways of behaving.

Governments have designated national parks to protect the natural environment against ecosystem destruction and improve individuals’ emotional and recreational life. National parks enhance environment-friendly awareness by conducting ecotourism activities and individuals with environment-friendly awareness are inclined to continue to visit national parks as ecotourism destinations. The New Environmental Paradigm (NEP) is a widely used measure of environmental concern, suitable for measuring the environment-friendly attitude and revisit intention of visitors of national parks. Therefore, the study carried out structural equation modeling (SEM) to investigate the relationship between the NEP, national park conservation consciousness and environment-friendly behavioral intention. Based on the results, an implication is presented to induce national parks to cultivate individual environment-friendly awareness and for visitors to pursue sustainable, environment-friendly tourism behavior. The findings indicate that national parks are to expand educational programs and facilities for eco-tourists visiting national parks to maintain a balanced relationship between themselves and nature and have a strong environmental awareness to preserve the natural environment.

As a result of environmental changes, assessment indexes for the agricultural landscape have been changing dramatically. Being at the interface of human activity and the natural environment, hunting is particularly sensitive to environmental changes, such as increasing deforestation or large-scale farming. The classical categorisation of hunting grounds takes into account the area, forest cover, number of forest complexes, fertility of forest habitats, lack of continuity of areas potentially favourable to wild animals. Landscape assessment methods used in architecture often better reflect the actual breeding and hunting value of a given area, especially in relation to fields and forests. The forest-field mosaic, large spatial fragmentation as well as interweaving of natural environment elements with buildings do not have to be the factors that limit the numbers of small game. Identification of the constituents of architectural-landscape interiors: content and significance assessment, determination of the functional role or assessment based on the general environmental values being represented take into account factors important for the existence of game, in particular small game.

The cemetery is an important element of the city’s natural system. It can create a system that has a great impact on shaping the city’s climate if it is integrated with the local landscape, designed with respect for the natural environment along with other green areas. In the face of negative demographic forecasts, urbanization and suburbanization processes, and climate change, the use of pro-environmental solutions in the development of cemeteries cannot be overestimated. On the basis of analyses of contemporary cemeteries from Europe (78 objects), including Poland (8 objects), a catalog of pro-environmental solutions is developed. The catalog is created based on the proposed functional and spatial model of cemeteries as a multifunctional space, integrating natural and cultural environments. Environmental activities related to the context, burial space, architecture, and other spatial elements, as well as the vegetation of modern cemeteries, are included. Then, in order to increase the environmental values of the cemetery, these solutions were implemented by developing an integrated concept for the project of a multifunctional and ecological municipal cemetery in Gniezno, Poland (the Greater Poland voivodeship).

This paper offers an analysis of the ethical values that have accompanied human exploration of space so far, and emphasizes the need to infuse human space activity with new ethical values by means of new and well-constructed legislation. One of the values that we deem particularly important in the creation of a new approach towards space exploration is care for the natural environment, including the space environment.

The objective of this research is to find out the effects of training media and the level of education on the skill to build the household sanitation based on environmental concern by the fisherman community in Barru Regency, South Sulawesi. The method used was a kind of experiment with 2 x 2 factorial design. The results of this research showed that; (1) the use of training media of model is better than the graphical media (drawing media), (2) there is an interaction found between the use of training media and education level of the fisherman in sanitation building, (3) the high level of education of fisherman in the skill of sanitation, gave a better result of the sanitation building, and (4) the modeling media gave better sanitation skill than the graphical media. It seems that the modeling media of training is better than the graphical media for the fisherman in the sanitation building.

Large number of problems related to environment experienced by consumers is the main reason for them to move from conventional or non green purchasing to green purchasing and green products reduce harmful impacts on environment and society. Significant difference prevails amongst environmental concern, environmental attitude and environmental responsibility and socio-economic profile of consumers. Environmental concern, environmental attitude and environmental responsibility have positive, moderate and significant relation with green purchasing behaviour of consumers. Therefore, consumers must live harmoniously with natural environment and they should not make any attempts to modify character of environment and consumers must enthusiastically involve in conservation of environment. Further, Government and environmental organizations and non government organizations should make consumers to realize their responsibilities and necessity for protection of environment through various awareness programmes and campaigns and incentives.

The general discription that comes when hearing the words of Student Thumb Generation (STG) is;  technology literate student, high curiosity, multi-tasking, creative and innovative, and responsive to change. In addition to these positive things, there is a negative side that is quite apprehensive and will impact on everyday life and association. In general, STG tends to be selfish, narcissistic, and intolerant. If the above advantages can be combined with noble character, the competency standard of the graduates specified in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 54 of 2013 on the qualification of graduate ability that includes attitude, knowledge, and skills can be realized. Given the attitude dimension in accordance with the Minister Regulation above, the writer will explain about the utilization of 5M learning media that can motivate STG at elementary school education level to build behavior that reflect the attitude of the faithful, noble, knowledgeable, confident, and responsible in interacting effectively with the social and natural environment in the home, school, and playground. 5M learning media can be obtained easily and can be adapted to the depth of teaching materials, because in general the raw materials of this media can be obtained around the life of students. Through the empowerment of this media, STG can interact well so that noble character can be build.

(1) Environmental education in an urban setting is crucial in terms of building a harmonious relationship between man and nature. As a kind of special ecological habitat, urban wetland parks provide convenience to enhance education on the natural environment. (2) In this study, we chose Harbin Qunli National Wetland Park in China as the subject, and analyzed the visual attention area with eye tracking to explore the differences in obtaining information about the natural environment in tourists with varying degrees of environmental concern and purposes of visit. A model connecting the perception preference and factors that affect visual attention of tourists was constructed. (3) Studies have shown that eco-society-hedonic tourists, who focus on parent–child activities, tend to pay more attention to wetland plants and prefer exploratory paths, while eco-hedonic tourists, whose main purposes are to relax and exercise, are more concerned about explanatory signs and enjoy flat scenic paths more. In addition, social tourists, who pay their visit for social activities, would care more about bird watching structures. (4) This research aims to assist in improving the legibility of environmental education space through the planning, design, and management of urban wetland parks, and explore the potential of landscape elements in enhancing public awareness.

The paper explores Gernot Böhme’s attempt to transform the concept of atmosphere into an aesthetical concept of the natural environment and follows his effort to outline a phenomenology of the weather based on this aesthetics. Böhme’s original project, prompted by a growing environmental concern, was to develop new forms of knowledge of nature to counter what he considered detrimental consequences of a one-sided rationalistic-scientific view of nature. Inspired by Hermann Schmitz’s phenomenology of the body and emotional atmospheres, Böhme developed his aesthetics to be a general theory of sensation and a phenomenology of the environment. His weather phenomenology is yet only a sketch, but, in light of imminent climatic changes, it might prove a sketch worth considering.
