Hospitality industry has three classifications of the National Chain Hotel, International Hotel Chain and hotels that are managed independently. International Hotel Chain is standing in Bandung one of them is the Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn Bandung is one of the four-star hotel which has the highest actual share best among customary international chain hotel in the city of Bandung. One of the guests that must be maintained is a guest member. The effort to maintain it is to make changes or repositioning. The purpose of this study was to obtain findings on repositioning strategies undertaken, the level of trust and influence of repositioning strategies undertaken Holiday Inn Bandung guest member of the trust. Repositioning strategy used theory is Muzellec & Lambkin, whereas the theory of confidence used was Doney & Canon. Objects in this study was the guest of a member who stays good corporate member guest and guest of individual members. Independent variable (X) is a repositioning strategy that consists of three dimensions of brand logos, building renovation and staff performance. Dependent variable (Y), namely trust. This type of study is a descriptive verifikatif, and the method used is survey with stratified random sampling technique, the obtained sample size of 100 respondents to the division of 56 respondents for this type of corporate members and 44 guests respondents for this type of individual member guest. Techniques of data analysis and hypothesis test used is multiple regression. The results showed that the repositioning strategy did have an influence on trust. Dimensional result greatest value of the brand logo of amounting to 5.742, then the second highest value obtained through the staff performance of 5.363, while the building renovation is considered guest members have no influence because the guest member has not felt comfortable and familiar with the appearance and location of new facilities.

Indonesia is an archipelagic state which are rich in natural wealth as flora and fauna and cultural variety that is a potential tourist destinations capable of interesting motivation tourists to perform the activities in Indonesia, and especially in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta city is the big cultural area in Indonesia that is a potential in terms of development cultural tour through the museum. But now a lot of people remain to regard that museum is just the place for keeping and maintaining historic and cultural fosils. The low appreciation of the society can be seem from the data of visitors attendance Museum Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta which shows a low number from years 2009 – 2010. Museum Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta conduct various attempts to increase the visits. One of the ways is through expanded marketing mix, which consists is people, physical evidence, and process. Expanded marketing mix in Museum Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta is expected to help increase tourist visits and for society awareness about cultural which has existed since long ago by the presence of museum. The independent variable (X) is expanded marketing mix which consists of three dimensions which are People, Physical evidence, and Process. The dependent variable (Y), namely the decision to visit. The type of the study is descriptive and verificative, and the method used was survey systematic random sampling technique, so it obtains 90 respondents of samples. Techniques of data analysis and hypothesis test used was multiple regression. Based on the research hypothesis, expanded marketing mix has a significant influence amounted to 48,5% towards visiting decision.

This study aims to identify the relationship between the creative capabilities of workers in 5-star hotels in the city of Amman and their cultural intelligence. In its measurement of the creative capabilities as an independent variable, the study adopted a scale consisting of three dimensions, namely: fluency, flexibility and originality. Whereas it relied in measuring the cultural intelligence as a dependent variable, on a scale consisting of three dimensions, namely: knowledge (cognition), motivation and behavior. The study was conducted on a sample of (258) workers currently working in these hotels. The required particulars for this study were collected through a specially prepared questionnaire for this purpose after having reviewed multi previous studies. The sample was distributed according to the simple random sample mechanism. The study revealed that there is a significant positive relationship between the dimensions of creative capabilities of workers in such hotels and their cultural intelligence. The study also included a set of recommendations and mechanisms that can be applied by the managements of these hotels to tackle some aspects of the dimensions constituting the cultural intelligence of workers.

Background: Indonesia is targeting to eliminate measles by 2020. In 2018 there were still 191 cases of measles in the city of Padang. This study aimed to determine the risk factors most associated with the incidence of measles among children under five in Padang City in 2018. Subjects and Method: A case-control study was conducted in Padang City, West Sumatera. The total of 74 children under five were enrolled in this study consisting of 37 with measles and 37 without measles. The study subjects were selected using sampling technique for cases and purposive sampling with matching age and sex for controls. The dependent variable was measles incidence. The independent variable was exclusive breastfeeding, measles immunization status, and vitamin A intake. The data were collected using medical records and questionnaire. The data were analyzed using d logistic regression. Results: The logistic regression showed that the most influential variable with the incidence of measles among children under five was measles immunization status with (OR= 6.33; 95% CI= 1.87 to 21.39; p= 0.003). Conclusion: Children under five who are not immunized against measles have the highest risk of measles incidence among children under five in Padang City. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between social support and motivation to become a cosplayer in COSMIC (cosplayer Minang Community) in Padang. The independent variable in this study is social support and the dependent variable is the motivation to be a cosplayer. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of social support and the motivation scale of being a cosplayer. The population in this study amounted to 47 people. The sample technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique. Saturated sampling is a sampling technique if all members of the population are used as samples. Samples in this study amounted to 47 people. Test the validity and reliability using Technique Cronbach Alpha. The item different power index on the social support scale moves from 0.337 to 0.793, while the motivation scale becomes a cosplayer moves from 0.330 to 0.741. The reliability coefficient on the social support scale is 0.890, while the reliability coefficient on the motivation scale becomes cosplayer at 0.893. Hypothesis test results show the correlation coefficient of 0.296 with a significant level p = 0.043 means that there is a significant relationship between social support and motivation to become cosplayers in Padang, with the effective contribution of social support to motivation to become cosplayers in Padang by 9% and 91% influenced other factors. So there is a relatively low relationship between social support variables and the motivation to become cosplayers

Abstract: Issues raised in this study is the performance of the Institute Amil Zakat Zakat (LAZ) in Pekanbaru. The variables of this research is the influence of Organizational Culture, Creativity, Infrastructure and Communities Trust (the independent variable) and Amil performance (the dependent variable). The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze (1) the influence of the Influence of Organizational Culture Performance Amil, (2) the effect on the performance of Amil Creativity, (3) the effect on the performance of Amil Infrastructure, (4) the effect of Societies Trust Amil performance, (5 ) and the influence of Organizational Culture, Creativity, and Faith Community Infrastructure jointly on the performance of Amil. Object of this study is four Institute Amil Zakat (LAZ) are located in the city of Pekanbaru, LAZ Swadaya Ummah, LAZ Rumah Zakat, LAZIS Muhammadiyah and LAZNAS Chevron Rumbai, the number of Amil  Zakat at 157 persons. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, and the entire sampling technique using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The results showed that the t value of 2.015 organizational culture variables is greater than t table (α / 2, n-2) = 2.000 means (2.015> 2.000 = Ho is rejected). For creativity variables (2.605> 2.000 = Ho rejected) means no influence on the performance of amyl creativity. T value of infrastructure variables (2.038> 2.000 = Ho rejected) no effect on the performance of amyl infrastructure. Last on the trust variables (2.178> 2.000 = Ho rejected) no effect on the performance of amyl confidence. Then the variable Organizational Culture, Creativity and Infrastructure and the trust jointly significant effect on the performance of the Institute Amil Amil Zakat (LAZ) in Pekanbaru which is equal to 0.507 or 50.7%.   Keywords: Culture, Creativity, facilities and infrastructure,  trust, performance Amil.

This study examined the effect of compensation schemes on academic staff performance in Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa. Specifically, it investigated the effect of special allowances and part-time emoluments (independent variable) on academic staff performance (dependent variable) of the institution. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population comprises of the 485 academic staff of the institution from where a total of seventy nine (79) samples of academic staff were selected across six (6) faculties using stratified sampling technique. Questionnaire was used to gather data from the respondent. The reliability of the questionnaire was tested using Cronbach- alpha coefficient and the test yielded the alpha coefficient of 0.85 and 0.82 for special allowances and part-time emoluments respectively.Descriptive statistics was used to present the data while multiple regression analysis was carried out to examine the extent to which the independent variable affects the dependent variable and the finding reveals thatboth special allowances and part-time emoluments have significant positive effect on academic staff performance in Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa. The researcher recommends that; the management of the institution should continue to enhance employees’ compensation schemes (both special allowances and part-time emoluments).

Online Travel Agent is popular sites as travel planner for tourist. Online Travel Agent provides ease on choosing accommodation or other tour facility for tourist. Booking.com is the biggest online travel agent at this time which giving service on reserving hotel room. Booking.com becomes popular among the tourist and very interested especially for reserved hotel room due to Booking.com provide additional facility which given for customer who loyal using service this online travel agent. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to know The Effect of Satisfaction, Trust and Price on Tourist Loyalty who uses Service of Booking.com. Sample on this research is 100 respondents with using quota sampling technique directed to tourist who ever using service of Booking.com more than 1 time and classified as Secret Deal and Genius Booker Customer. Collecting Data technique are observation non participation, questionnaire with likert scale, literature study and online survey. By hypothesis test with t test and F test, the result are (1) Satisfaction has influence positive and significant on Loyalty of Tourist. (2) Trust has influence positive and significant on Loyalty of Tourist (3) Price has influence positive and significant on Loyalty of Tourist.(4) Satisfaction, Trust and Price has influence positive and significant on Loyalty of Tourist as simultaneous. Through coefficient determination test Satisfaction, Trust and Price variable able to explain Loyalty 70,60%. Linier Regression Analyze state that independent variable has positive coefficient value 2,593, 2,303 and 4,988 with result Price as independent variable which very dominant influence Loyalty of Tourist for using service online travel agent Booking.com.

Bandung is the center of Muslim fashion in West Java even at the national level. This causes intense business competition in the world of Muslim fashion. To that end, an important role that must be performed by a company is to prioritize product quality and product innovation as a basis for attracting customer so that customer can feel satisfaction from the quality of the products produced. According to Google trends Rabbani trends also experienced a decline in customer interest in the purchasing Muslim fashion. And the results of distributing pre-research questionnaires obtained 70.45% or 31 people were disappointed with the quality of their muslim fashion, this resulted in customer not satisfied with the Rabbani. This study aims to determine how the quality and innovation of Rabbani products to customer satisfaction in the city of Bandung. According to Garvin (1987) there are eight dimensions to test product quality variables, namely performance, features, reliability, conformance, durability, serviceability, aesthetic and perceived quality. Customer satisfaction is measured by three dimensions, namely overall quality, customization and reliability. The study was conducted using quantitative methods. The sampling technique using non-probability sampling techniques and questionnaires were distributed to Rabbani customer in Bandung as many as 150 respondents. Analysis of research data using SEM PLS (Partial Square Structural Equation Modeling) with SmartPLS 3.0 software. the results showed that product quality and innovation had a significant effect on customer satisfaction

Training and development are an essential strategic tool for enhancing employees’ performance and many organizations keep increasing training budget yearly basis with believe that it will earn them competitive advantage. The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of training and development on employees’ performance in a property management corporation. A total of one dependent variable; employees’ performance, and one independent variable, named training and development which consist of three dimensions; needs assessment, training and development techniques, and career development, have been developed. Quantitative and descriptive research methods are adopted for this particular study using one hundred valid questionnaires that were completed by the employees of this corporation. Simple random sampling technique is used and that the data collected are analyzed using descriptive statistics in order to represent the raw data in a meaningful manner. Based on the findings of this study employees believe that needs assessment should be done prior to deciding trainings, proper and suitable techniques are to be used to deliver trainings, and that further career development should be established in order to enhance employees’ performance.

Bandung is one of the cities which has many potentials in shopping tourism. Year after years the number of the shopping center in Bandung is increasing. Although shopping tourism in Bandung become the main destination for shopper but the customer loyalty is in a low state of condition. The customer more interest to try something new. So many new products that the competitors offered has caused the customers difficult to be loyal. By Creating the store attribute strategy is expected could increase the customer loyalty and could be more understand the shopper motives. This study is a descriptive and verificative and used explanatory survey method and cross sectional approach. The number of sample in this study were 111 respondents, those are the tourists who shopped in Bandung. The sampling technique that is used was simple random sampling. The Data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The independent variable in this research is the store attribute (X) which has three dimensions, those are store atmosphere (X1), convenience (X2), merchandise (X3), promotion (X4), interpersonal communication (X5), while the dependent variable is the loyalty (Y). Tourist’s responses to store attribute and loyalty considered sufficiently high, the majority of tourist has a hedonic shopping motives.  Based on the result of this study, it shows that store attribute is influencing the tourist’s loyalty controlled by shopping motives.
