We have already described (1.2.3) a device using a pockel's effect light valve as a microscopical electron image converter. This converter can be read out with incoherent or coherent light. In the last case we can set in line with the converter an optical diffractometer. Now, electron microscopy developments have pointed out different advantages of diffractometry. Indeed diffractogram of an image of a thin amorphous part of a specimen gives information about electron transfer function and a single look at a diffractogram informs on focus, drift, residual astigmatism, and after standardizing, on periods resolved (4.5.6). These informations are obvious from diffractogram but are usualy obtained from a micrograph, so that a correction of electron microscope parameters cannot be realized before recording the micrograph. Diffractometer allows also processing of images by setting spatial filters in diffractogram plane (7) or by reconstruction of Fraunhofer image (8). Using Electrotitus read out with coherent light and fitted to a diffractometer; all these possibilities may be realized in pseudoreal time, so that working parameters may be optimally adjusted before recording a micrograph or before processing an image.

Mullite is an aluminium-silicate mineral of current interest since it is a potential candidate for high temperature applications in the ceramic materials field.In the present work, conditions under which the structure of mullite can be optimally imaged by means of High Resolution Electron Microscopy (HREM) have been investigated. Special reference is made to the Atomic Resolution Microscope at Berkeley which allows real space information up to ≈ 0.17 nm to be directly transferred; numerous multislice calculations (conducted with the CEMPAS programs) as well as extensive experimental through-focus series taken from a commercial “3:2” mullite at 800 kV clearly show that a resolution of at least 0.19 nm is required if one wants to get a straightforward confirmation of atomic models of mullite, which is known to undergo non-stoichiometry associated with the presence of oxygen vacancies.Indeed the composition of mullite ranges from approximatively 3Al2O3-2SiO2 (referred here as 3:2-mullite) to 2Al2O3-1SiO2, and its structure is still the subject of refinements (see, for example, refs. 4, 5, 6).

Introduction. In a market economy, staff organizational loyalty is one of the key challenges. Aim. To explore the relationship between staff organizational loyalty and their job satisfaction and enthusiasm. Methods: J. Meyer and N. Allen Scale of Organizational Loyalty, Utrecht Scale of Work Enthusiasm, and Integral Job Satisfaction questionnaire. Results. There is a statistically significant relationship between staff job satisfaction and organizational loyalty. Overall staff organizational loyalty has been shown to relate with such scales of work enthusiasm as "energy", "commitment", and "general enthusiasm". Conclusions. Staff organizational loyalty significantly correlates with staff job satisfaction (in particular, with such components of job satisfaction as job achievement satisfaction, colleagues relationship satisfaction, and work conditions satisfaction) and work enthusiasm (in particular, with staff organizational commitment).

Abstract In this paper, we describe automated FIB for TEM sample preparation using iFast software on a Helios 450HP dual-beam system. A robust iFast automation recipe needs to consider as many variables as possible in order to ensure consistent sample quality and high success rate. Variations mainly come from samples of different materials, structures, surface patterns, surface topography and surface charging. The recipe also needs to be user-friendly and provide high flexibility by allowing users to choose preferable working parameters for specific types of samples, such as: grounding, protective layer coating, milling steps, and final TEM lamella thickness/width. In addition to the iFast recipe, other practical factors affecting automation success rate are also discussed and highlighted.

Objective – High voluntary turnover rate has become the focus of most employers and scholars in related fields. Although employers have attempted to use a variety of retention strategies to retain qualified and skilled employees, the turnover rate remains high in the vast majority of industries around the world. Methodology/Technique – Past studies are concerned mostly with employees’ external demands such as salaries, fringe benefits, work conditions and less focus has been given on the importance of employees’ internal needs based on psychological capital. Therefore, there is a need to perform a study on the turnover from this perspective as it is crucial not only to retain the individual but also to ensure their contentment and satisfaction are fulfilled by their organizations. Findings – This paper undertakes a review of existing literature which specifically addresses the perspectives of individual psychology, and simultaneously explains the relationship between the two psychological factors (namely psychological capital and person-environment fit) and the turnover intention with the mediating effect of job satisfaction. Novelty – The arguments are presented to emphasize the needs to carry out this study. Type of Paper: Review.
