This study aimed to determine the relationship between students’ time management and delays in doing academic assignments while learning online at the Faculty for Teacher Training and Education. This was a quantitative study. The population was students of FKIP UPI YPTK Padang, the Department of Informatics Engineering and of English Education. Purposive sampling was used, with a focus on students who are accustomed to doing online lectures with the Learning Management System (LMS) application in the form of Edmodo and Schoology applications. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed online via Google Forms. The results showed that the correlation between time management and postponement of academic assignments was 0.6546, which meant that time management had a moderate correlation with academic procrastination. Thus, it can be concluded that students learning online may experience conditions that are less stable for managing their time to work on academic assignments. Background: We aimed to investigate the relationship among mobile phone dependence, self-efficacy for self-regulated learning, time management disposition, and academic procrastination in Chinese students majoring in physical education. In addition, we explored the mediating roles of self-efficacy for self-regulated learning and time management disposition in the relationship between mobile phone dependence and academic procrastination. Methods: We adopted a random sampling method to identify 324 physical education majors at five universities in Shaanxi Province, China in 2020. Data were analyzed via exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, structural equation model analysis, and path analysis. Results: Mobile phone dependence had significant positive effects on academic procrastination (P<0.001) and self-efficacy for self-regulated learning (P<0.05) but a significant negative effect on time management disposition (P<0.001). Self-efficacy for self-regulated learning had a significant positive effect on academic procrastination (P<0.001), while time management disposition had a significant negative effect on academic procrastination (P<0.01). Notably, self-efficacy for self-regulated learning and time management disposition mediated the relationship between mobile phone dependence and academic procrastination (P<0.05). Conclusion: In addition to its direct effect on academic procrastination, mobile phone dependence exerts an indirect effect via time management disposition and self-regulated learning efficacy. Reducing students’ dependence on mobile phones is necessary for attenuating academic procrastination on university campuses. Thus, universities should aim to restrict the use of mobile phones in the classroom, actively cultivate students’ confidence in their self-regulated learning ability, and educate them regarding appropriate time values.

Academic procrastination is a harmful phenomenon among students and has many negative consequences. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship of test anxiety and time management with academic procrastination in students of health professions. The population of this correlational study consisted of 281 Iranian students of health professions. The Tuckman Procrastination Scale, Time Management Scale, and Sarason’s Test Anxiety Scale were used to measure the variables. Pearson’s correlation and multivariate regression tests were also performed. The mean score of students’ academic procrastination was higher than the average level. A significantly negative correlation was found between time management and academic procrastination (r = −0.487, P  ≤ 0.01). Additionally, there was a significantly positive correlation between test anxiety and academic procrastination (r = 0.443, P  ≤ 0.01). The linear regression model indicated that independent predictors including time management and test anxiety accounted for 32.6% of the variation in academic procrastination (R2 = 32.6%). The findings of this study indicated that test anxiety and time management were associated with academic procrastination. Therefore, purposeful educational and psychological interventions are required to reduce academic procrastination in students.

The spread of Covid-19 has affected the entire world, including the education sector in Indonesia. This study examines the relationship between Indonesian students’ readiness and students satisfaction with online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. It used an online questionnaire to reach 518 students as a participant. Structural equation modelling (SEM) with SmartPLS software was utilised to examine the relationship between the variables. The finding indicated four dimensions of student readiness (online student attributes, time management, technical competencies, and online communication competencies) closely related to students’ satisfaction with online learning. The result provided an understanding of the condition of online learning satisfaction from students readiness point of view during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This study serves as a starting point for stakeholders (government and education institutions) in making future policies.

Corona virus disease (covid-19) has spread all over the world and became a pandemic in short time. Indonesia is one of the countries that affected by covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 changed everything in various area including education. Online learning became one of the solutions in universities in order to keep learning process going. Unfortunately, policy to apply online learning is facing many difficulties associated with infra-structure, student economic capability and time management. Learning video is presented to overcome difficulties of online learning during covid-19 pandemic in subject of Calculus for Physics. The video presents material supported by sample problem and solution. Practicality of the learning video was examined by collecting student`s responses in aspect of ease of use, learning time efficiency, attractiveness and benefits. Data was analyzed using percentage formula to determine criteria of practicality. The result of the observation revealed that learning video of calculus for physics has a good practicality that represented by score of each aspects of 81,26% for ease of use, 83,53% for learning time efficiency, 79,87% for attractiveness and 81,08% for benefits. Based on this result we conclude that learning video is very useful to assist student in online learning during covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, learning video could be one of the best choices in learning media to apply digital and remote learning in facing of Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Purpose The minimum masking level (MML) is the minimum intensity of a stimulus required to just totally mask the tinnitus. Treatments aimed at reducing the tinnitus itself should attempt to measure the magnitude of the tinnitus. The objective of this study was to evaluate the reliability of the MML. Method Sample consisted of 59 tinnitus patients who reported stable tinnitus. We obtained MML measures on two visits, separated by about 2–3 weeks. We used two noise types: speech-shaped noise and high-frequency emphasis noise. We also investigated the relationship between the MML and tinnitus loudness estimates and the Tinnitus Handicap Questionnaire (THQ). Results There were differences across the different noise types. The within-session standard deviation averaged across subjects varied between 1.3 and 1.8 dB. Across the two sessions, the Pearson correlation coefficients, range was r = .84. There was a weak relationship between the dB SL MML and loudness, and between the MML and the THQ. A moderate correlation ( r = .44) was found between the THQ and loudness estimates. Conclusions We conclude that the dB SL MML can be a reliable estimate of tinnitus magnitude, with expected standard deviations in trained subjects of about 1.5 dB. It appears that the dB SL MML and loudness estimates are not closely related.

The aim of this research is; 1) investigating the level of online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 2) analyzing the influence of differences in gender, years of study, major in determining online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 3) to analyze the relationship between online learning satisfaction and student academic achievement during COVID 19. The population was 656 students at STKIP Singkawang, and then a sample of 357 students (87 males and 270 females) was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study was adapted from Aman's Satisfaction instrument, which was then used to collect research data. Data analysis using SPSS with descriptive statistical techniques, MANOVA, and correlation. The results showed that online learning satisfaction was at a high level, meaning that students were satisfied with the online learning that had been implemented. The major differences have a significant effect on determining online learning satisfaction. Intercorrelation shows that there is a significant relationship on each indicator of online learning satisfaction with academic achievement, meaning that the higher the satisfaction felt by students in online learning, the student's academic achievement will increase.
