This study aims to find empirical evidence of the impact of propping- related party transactions on company performance. The research sample was manufacturing companies listed on the IDX during 2017-2019 which were determined by purposive sampling and using the Generalized Least Square panel data regression analysis technique (cross-section weights). The results showed that propping (related party transactions related to account payables) had a positive effect on financial performance and had a negative effect on the company's market performance. Propping (related party transactions related to other payables) had a positive effect on the company's financial performance but doesn’t an affect on the company's market performance. Meanwhile, propping (related party transactions related to liabilities other than account payables) had a negative effect on financial performance but had a positive effect on the company's market performance.

This study aims to examine the impact of risk and reputation on financial performance. More specifically, we use financing risk, liquidity risk, reputation with rewards, and growth in profit-sharing based financing as our variable of interests. We also assign bank size as a control variable. Our data is analyzed using Generalized Least Square (GLS) regression. Islamic Commercial Banks listed in Sharia Banking Statistics (Statistik Perbankan Syariah - SPS) published by OJK in 2015−2019 are selected as our sample. We find that (1) financing risk has a negative effect on financial performance; and (2) both reputation with rewards and bank size have a positive effect on financial performance. However, liquidity risk and growth in profit-sharing based financing do not affect financial performance. Several research implications are the importance of risk mitigation, the importance to maintain the reputation of the Islamic bank’s stakeholders, and creating innovative funding and financing products.

Objective – This study aims to determine the influence of intellectual capital and capital structure on financial performance in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. Design/methodology – The data were collected from all 140 manufacturing companies from 2015 to 2019. While most studies of intellectual capital were conducted by using multiple regression analysis, we investigate the impact of intellectual capital and capital structure on the financial performance by using weighted least square regression. Results – The results showed that intellectual capital has a significant positive effect on firms’ financial performances, but the capital structure has a negative effect. The results of this study are beneficial for managers to consider increasing intellectual capital to create a competitive advantage in the midst of fierce competition of the ASEAN Economic Community era. In addition, managers need to consider the optimum capital structure to fulfill funding needs, hence financial distress can be minimized.Limitation/Suggestion - This study is a quantitative study limited to the availability of the data. Also, a number of outliers were found in the data and treated prior to the analysis.

One of the indicators of shareholders’ wealth maximization is dividend policy (DP) consistency, proxied by dividend per share (DPS) with moderating variable of company size and financial performance measured by the return on asset (ROA). The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the significance level of changes in ROA based on DPS comparing manufacturing companies in Nigeria and Kenya. The data used in this study is the use of panel data method and Convenience Sampling is applied and data analyzed by comparing the regression model, Ordinary Least Square (common effect). The results indicate that there is a significant positive effect on ROA in Kenya manufacturing companies, while Nigeria’s records insignificant negative effect as revealed by the t-statistics due to DP. These undeveloped economies’ relevant sector for growth is the manufacturing and is the focus of this study. The paper concludes by recommending that Kenya and Nigeria manufacturing companies should focus on DP.

The population of this study is mining companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2012-2016. The number of data is 196. Sampling is conducted using purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used in this study is SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of data analysis show that firm age has no effect on voluntary disclosure, while blockholder ownership has a significant negative effect on voluntary disclosure. The population in this study were all manufacturing companies listed on the IDX from 2012 to 2017. The samples in this study were obtained by purposive sampling method with the criteria (1) Manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2012 to 2017 (2) Having complete research data. The sample used in this study amounted to 84 companies registered in IDX in 2012 to 2017. Data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis to see the effect of XBRL implementation on information risk with company size and leverage as control variables. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of XBRL has a significant negative effect on information risk; Firm size and corporate action have a significant positive effect on information risk and leverage has a significant negative effect on information risk.  Financial reports that use XBRL will reduce information risk so it can help stakeholders to make a good quality business decisions.

The purpose of this research is aim to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of growth opportunity and leverage on earning response coefficient (ERC). This research was conducted at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018. The sample are selected with purposive sampling method. The number of selected sample are 65 companies. The analysis technique of this research is using multiple linear regression. The result showed that growth opportunity had positive effect on ERC. Whereas leverage had negative effect on ERC. The higher the company's growth rate will increase ERC. While the higher the leverage the company will reduce ERC. Keywords: Growth Opportunity; Leverage; Earning Response Coefficient.

Agency theory describe that ownership concentration is a good corporate governance system that helps to reduce agency problems arising from the divergence of interest between shareholders and managers. But, when ownership concentration becomes high, lead to another agency problem that is conflict between controlling shareholders and minority shareholders. This study purposed to examine the relation of ownership concentration and related party transactions on firm performance. This research uses quantitative descriptive method with associative approach. Sample used in this study was 474 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. We used multiple linear regression as analysis technique. Results showed that ownership concentration had a positive effect on firm performance and related party transactions had a positive effect on firm performance. Keywords : Ownership Concentration; Related Party Transactions; Firm Performance.

The risk of rupiah exchange rate is measured by exchange rate exposure, growth opportunity is measured by comparing MVE and BVE, and hedging decisions are measured by the dummy method, and profitability by net profti margin. The object of research used is manufacturing companies listed on the IDX during 2017-2019 periods. The sample selection used purposive sampling. Data analysis used linear regression analysis technique and MRA. The results showed that the risk of rupiah exchange rate had no effect on profitability, hedging decisions reduced the negative effect of the risk of rupiah exchange rate on profitability, and growth opportunity had a positive effect on profitability. Keywords: Risk of Rupiah Exhange Rate; Growth Opportunity; Profitability; Hedging Decisions.

This study analyzes whether CEO turnover affects stock market performance through company performance in Indonesian companies. Specifically, this study examines: (1) Does the CEO turnover affect the stock market performance? (2) Does the CEO turnover affect the company performance and (3) Does the CEO turnover affect the stock market performance through the company performance? This study does not test the CEO turnover due to death, forced resignation, voluntary departures, and age-related retirement considering that almost all companies in Indonesia are family companies. This study uses the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as an analysis unit with the study period during 2010-2015. The finding of this study concludes that (1) the CEO turnover has a positive effect on the stock market performance, (2) the CEO turnover has a positive effect on the company performance, and (3) the CEO turnover does not affect the stock market performance through the company performance. This study has an implication from a theoretical perspective, i.e. the CEO turnover has a positive effect on the stock market performance and the company performance. However, CEO turnover does not affect the stock market performance through company performance. Then, the company performance is not an intervening variable of the effect of the CEO turnover on the stock market performance.
