HU is the Hypergeometrical Universe Theory (HU)[1-8], proposed in 2006, where the Universe is a Lightspeed Expanding Hyperspherical Hypersurface and Gravitation is an absolute-velocity-dependent, epoch-dependent force. Here we introduce the Big Pop Cosmogenesis and show our calculations associated with the Equation of State of the Universe. This article is the first in a series of articles[9-22] supporting the paradigm shift.

AbstractWe investigate Friedmann–Lamaitre–Robertson–Walker (FLRW) models with modified Chaplygin gas and cosmological constant, using dynamical system methods. We assume $$p=(\gamma -1)\mu -\dfrac{A}{\mu ^\alpha }$$ p = ( γ - 1 ) μ - A μ α as equation of state where $$\mu$$ μ is the matter-energy density, p is the pressure, $$\alpha$$ α is a parameter which can take on values $$0<\alpha \le 1$$ 0 < α ≤ 1 as well as A and $$\gamma$$ γ are positive constants. We draw the state spaces and analyze the nature of the singularity at the beginning, as well as the fate of the universe in the far future. In particular, we address the question whether there is a solution which is stable for all the cases.

The objective of the present paper is to investigate an almost-pseudo-Ricci symmetric FRW spacetime with a constant Ricci scalar in a dynamic cosmological term Λ(t) and equation of state (EoS) ω(t) scenario. Several cosmological parameters are calculated in this setting and thoroughly studied, which shows that the model satisfies the late-time accelerating expansion of the universe. We also examine all of the energy conditions to check our model’s self-stability.

Neutron Stars (NSs) are compact stellar objects that are stable solutions in General Relativity. Their internal structure is usually described using an equation of state that involves the presence of ordinary matter and its interactions. However there is now a large consensus that an elusive sector of matter in the universe, described as dark matter, remains as yet undiscovered. In such a case, NSs should contain both, baryonic and dark matter. We argue that depending on the nature of the dark matter and in certain circumstances, the two matter components would form a mixture inside NSs that could trigger further changes, some of them observable. The very existence of NSs constrains the nature and interactions of dark matter in the universe.

Abstract The Cohen-Kaplan-Nelson bound is imposed on the grounds of logical consistency (with classical General Relativity) upon local quantum field theories. This paper puts the bound into the context of a thermodynamic principle applicable to a field with a particular equation of state in an expanding universe. This is achieved without overtly appealing to either a decreasing density of states or a minimum coupling requirement, though they might still be consistent with the results described. The paper establishes that the holographic principle applied to cosmology is consistent with minimizing the free energy of the universe in the canonical ensemble, upon the assumption that the ultraviolet cutoff is a function of the causal horizon scale.

The end of inflation is connected to the standard cosmological scenario through reheating. During reheating, the inflaton oscillates around the minimum of the potential and thus decays into the daughter particles that populate the Universe at later times. Using cosmological evolution for observable CMB scales from the time of Hubble crossing to the present time, we translate the constraint on the spectral index [Formula: see text] from Planck data to the constraint on the reheating scenario in the context of Kähler moduli inflation. We find that the equation of state parameter plays a crucial role in the reheating analysis, however the details of the one parameter potential are irrelevant if the analysis is done strictly within the slow-roll formalism. In addition, we extend the de facto analysis generally done only for the pivot scale to all the observable scales which crossed the Hubble radius during inflation, where we study how the maximum number of e-folds varies for different scales, and the effect of the equation of state and potential parameters.

In this paper, the RS-II model of brane gravity is considered for the phantom universe using a nonlinear equation of state. Phantom fluid is known to violate the weak energy condition. It is found that this characteristic of phantom energy is affected drastically by the negative brane tension λ of the RS-II model. It is interesting to see that up to a certain value of energy density ρ satisfying ρ/λ < 1, the weak energy condition is violated and the universe superaccelerates. But, as ρ increases more, only the strong energy condition is violated and the universe accelerates. When 1 < ρ/λ < 2, even the strong energy condition is not violated and the universe decelerates. Expansion of the universe stops when ρ = 2 λ. This is contrary to earlier results of the phantom universe exhibiting acceleration only.

We use a parameterized equation of state (EOS) of dark energy to a 5D Ricci-flat cosmological solution and suppose the universe contains two major components: dark matter and dark energy. Using the recent observational datasets: the latest 182 type Ia Supernovae Gold data, the three-year WMAP CMB shift parameter and the SDSS baryon acoustic peak, we obtain the best fit values of the EOS and two major components' evolution. We find that the best fit EOS crosses -1 in the near past where z ≃ 0.07, the present best fit value of wx(0) < -1 and for this model, the universe experiences the acceleration at about z ≃ 0.5.

The reconstruction scenario of well-established dark energy models such as pilgrim dark energy model and generalized ghost dark energy with Hubble horizon and [Formula: see text] models is being considered. We have established [Formula: see text] models and analyzed their viability through equation of state parameter and [Formula: see text] (where prime denotes derivative with respect to [Formula: see text]) plane. The equation of state parameter evolutes the universe in three different phases such as quintessence, vacuum and phantom. However, the [Formula: see text] plane also describes the thawing as well as freezing region of the universe. The recent observational data also favor our results.
