If general education has been implemented virtually, there is nothing wrong with the same method applied by Islamic education or Islamic boarding schools. For this reason, we will look for data to strengthen this discussion to propose a virtual boarding school education system which is the idea of ??equal distribution of educational services to the millennial generation from house to house. We collect data online on published journals, books, proceedings, and websites that address virtual boarding school education issues. Furthermore, the collected data is analyzed using a coding system, comprehensive evaluation, and drawing conclusions that can answer the main problems of this project. By analyzing and discussing the data, we can conclude that virtual boarding school education is an exciting idea with efforts to distribute Islamic education services to the millennial generation, who happen to be not santri.

Pesantren, the Islamic boarding school, is the oldest Islamic education in Indonesia and is constantly undergoing changes from time to time. This research uses the qualitative approach. This study aims to describe the application of the heutagogy method in the growth of pesantren education. The results of this study indicate that the Al-Luqmaniyyah salaf Boarding School has already applied the heutagogy learning method, it means that pesantren education precedes the Westerners in terms of its utilization. Through the study and discussion of Kitab Kuning (yellow-colored textbooks about Islamic knowledge), students determine their systems, study materials, and problems to find a solution. Sources of learning for students are not only limited by the Kitab Kuning, but students can also have access through the internet, online books and applications with trusted sources. PSDS is responsible for managing the talents and interests of the santri (a term used in Pesantren to call an apprentice), as well as training santri skills by making films, recording, creativity, writing, making advertisements, making interesting contents on social media. LP2M Al-Luqmaniyyah with its various divisions is required to channel and facilitate what the community needs from the students as they can also learn from the community it self. the basic principles of Islamic boarding school education, namely; Al Muhafadhah ala al-qadim al shalih wa al akhdzu bi al jadid al ashlah. This principle has encouraged pesantren to maintain good old Islamic values without denying better changes. This paper intends to explore two sides of the coin for Pondok Persantren where one side is a distinct advantage for but can be a boomerang that hinders the progress of Islamic education based on understanding the basic elements and values of Islamic boarding schools and, then contributing thoughts in building a holistic Islamic boarding school education so that can follow the development of science without losing the obligation to maintain basic values. Holistic pesantren education can only be achieved if it is reaffirmed that the elements of the boarding school education system are not oriented towards learning religious knowledge but how kyai, teachers / ustaz and santri can learn to live in religion.

<p>The author’s interest in researching on de-radicalization of religion in the literature of islamic boarding school education was driven by the fact that religion de-radicalization are now starting to touch many aspects of society. Religious radicalism is often associated with terrorism, such as suicide bombers under the pretext of <em>jihad</em> (martyrdom), violence in the name of <em>amar ma'ruf-nahy munkar</em> (commanding the good and forbidding the evil), even now starting to organize religious radicalism in the establishment of the state. Ironically, some of the perpetrators of terrorism are graduates of boarding schools. This is due to the fact that there are several texts in the literature of boarding school education that are vulnerable to radical behaviors, such as <em>jihad</em>, commanding the good, or fighting against non-Muslims. It makes boarding schools are negatively affected despite the fact that they are institutions of Islamic education in Indonesia who spread the teachings of Islam which is <em>rahmatan lil Alamin</em> (blessing for the universe), tolerant, and contextual. Therefore, this study wanted to know about de-radicalization of religion in the understanding of texts in the literature of boarding school education, particularly related to the meaning of <em>jihad</em>, commanding the good, and Islam as the blessing for the universe.</p><p>This research uses library research, which is a pure literature research. This method is used for obtaining data on de-radicalization in the view of boarding schools using descriptive approach. This research is a study on religious teachings in relation to society, nature, character, and the influence of the thoughts and ideas in forming the character of a group.</p><p>De-radicalization of religion in the literature of boarding schools includes several things. First, boarding schools should not teach jihad with war, but with education. Next, the applications of <em>amar ma'ruf-nahy munkar</em> must be done through certain stages, so that the direction fits the condition of the object of the missionary endeavor. Violence must not be used as long as it is still possible to use subtle ways since violence is only legalized when the situation is extremely urgent.</p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> <em>De-radicalisation of Religion, Text, Literature, Boarding School</em></p>

The issue of Islamic education management governance in global education is the main objective of this secondary data review. To complete the discussion of this study, we have collected a series of data and literature on several data sources electronically in educational journal publications, book proceedings, and website databases that actively voice Islamic education issues in a global context. We cannot describe the data that we collect directly. We analyze it using various approaches, such as sharp evaluation coding and drawing conclusions that can answer the essence of the problems of this book review. The data we take online is as much as possible to look for the more up-to-date ones published in the last ten years. Finally, we can conclude that based on the findings and discussion data, among others, issues relating to the governance of Islamic religious education still leave problems and challenges, including the difficulty of achieving quality education due to issues of teacher resources that are still low in the mastery of technology that is still lacking. Straightforward access to education is still unequal, and issues related to leadership and school leadership in general education and the Islamic religion. National education in the Reformation Era is directed at achieving certain goals as stated in Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning SISDIKNAS, that "national education aims to educate the nation's life and develop Indonesian people as a whole. Islamic education as a sub-system of the national education system aspires to the formation of a complete Muslim, namely a qualified Indonesian Muslim while maintaining the noble culture of the nation. Thus education leads to the achievement of noble and harmonious values for Muslim life which is characterized by Indonesia. However, in its journey, morality becomes just adab or manners, losing its philosophical substance; The morality of Indonesian Muslims is experiencing a crisis of morality, and ritual piety is often not positively correlated with social piety. The role of pesantren is needed through alternative education in the form of Sufism, because the science of Sufism can improve morality, as evidence of the success of pesantren in educating their students by integrating Sufism into daily life, so that the morals of students really increase as morality. Based on this, this research was carried out with a focus on How Sufism is an Alternative for Islamic Boarding School Education in Improving Santri Morals to God, Others, and the Environment at Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Glagahwero Village, Kalisat District, Jember Regency. This research is a qualitative research. The results showed that, Sufism as an alternative to Islamic boarding school education in improving students' morals to Allah SWT, students' morals to others and students' morals to the environment, is a complex form of education that exceeds non-Islamic boarding school education with Sufism as an alternative education. In this case, the science of Sufism is taught through the recitation of the yellow books, through the practice of morality, and through practices in the form of tariqat/wiridan that are accustomed to every time. As a result, the science of Sufism as an alternative pesantren education taught at the Miftahul Ulum Glagahwero Islamic Boarding School, Kalisat District, Jember Regency has led students to have more moral character than before applying Sufism as an alternative pesantren education.
