The aim of this study is to investigate factors affecting credit risks of the borrowers (both corporate and individual customers) of Vietnam bank for agriculture and rural development's branch at Can Tho city (lender), thereby proposing several solutions to improve the bank’s operational efficiency in the upcoming years. Simultaneous qualitative and quantitative research methods are applied and secondary data from 102 corporate customers and 2100 individual clients are collected directly from the financial report of the Can Tho branch of Vietnam bank for agriculture and rural development (Agribank) until the end of 2018. A binary logistics model is employed to identify the determinant factors of the credit risk of bank customers. Estimation results reveal that the credit risk of corporate customers is affected by the factors of sales growth, return on sales ratio, Debt to equity ratio, collateral-to-outstanding loan balance ratio, and customer's loan history which are consistent with those of previous studies, whereas the credit risk of individual customers is influenced by the factors of age, educational level, loan purpose, loan maturity, type of collateral, customer income, and customer loan history, which are confirmed by previous studies. The empirical findings of the article imply that the Can Tho branch of Agribank should take precautions in order to limit the credit risk of bank customers. In addition, several governance recommendations are given for bank’s manager to improve the operational efficiency of bank.

The government is building two dams to pursue flood capacity in Jakarta, one of which is the X Dry Dam project. There were obstacles during the construction of this project, which resulted in several changes in the form of contract amendments. The purpose of this study is to determine the most influential factors that cause contract amendments and give suggestions for that factors, so the next contract amendment can be minimized and the project can run according to the costs and time that has been set. In this study, the authors use quantitative research methods by distributing questionnaires to respondents who are staff at the contractor. Secondary data used is the S curve. This research uses 4 stages of the questionnaire by using the reliability test using SPSS version 25 software and data analysis of importance index (II). From the results of this study are the X Dry Dam Project has 5 factors that most influence the occurrence of contract amendments that are land acquisition (53.33%), severe weather conditions (52.19%), society refusal of the project (48.84%), lacking design process planning (42.12%), and schedule /estimated time by the owner is too fast (40.28%).

Abstract: This research aims to answer the research gap of previous TAM research, as the factors affecting interest in using e-money on millennials by using 2 aspects of the TAM (ease and usefulness) with promotion and risk of use. This research applied causal-comparative to quantitative research methods. The results imply that: 1) The higher the ease of use of e-money, the higher the interest of millennials in using e-money; 2) Millennials have perceived the benefits from using e-money in transactions which certainly encourages the interest on using it; 3) The more intense the promotion carried out by the publisher, the millennials will be more likely to experience the promotion, so that it can encourage the interest in using e-money; 4) Millennials tend to prioritize the benefits than the risks of using e-money.

The paper aims to analyze and quantify the factors affecting consumer loyalty to retail stores in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) in the lens of the Theory of Reason Action (TRA). The paper uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. The former was conducted through focus group discussions with 15 consumers using services at retail stores in HCMC while the latter was conducted by a direct survey on 465 customers using the service of retail stores in HCMC. The results show that (i) preferential treatment from retail stores, (ii) consumer commitment, (iii) consumer gratitude, and (iv) perceived service quality affect consumer loyalty. The research has limitations such as (i) consumer loyalty is influenced by many other factors. Therefore, it is necessary to include additional determinants in future research (ii) the research is only conducted in HCMC, and (iii) the sample size is relatively small with only 465 consumers.
