The development of language science has an important role in using books as a medium of learning. Madura language is a local content subject that is introduced to students in elementary schools. The development of language science has an important role in using books as a medium of learning. Based on that background, the problem formulation in this study is how pepak development. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) approach. The subjects of the study were teachers and a Team of Experts consisting of Expert Lecturers and Madurese Culturalists. The data collection techniques in this study use observations, library studies, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires for prototype assessment. Data analysis techniques use qualitative descriptive. The result of this study is a product in the form of a prototype book in Madura language that will make it easier for elementary school students to learn it.

Walang Jati Kencono batik motif has been certified industrial design rights obtained by gunungkidul district government used as uniform fabric of school students from paud, elementary, junior high, and high school/ vocational school level that must be produced by the batik craftsman community in Gunungkidul. Walang Jati Kencono batik motif is also the uniform of officials in Gunungkidul Regency. Since the enactation of this motif into gunungkidul batik character continues to undergo changes and developments, both in shape, technique, and coloring results. The purpose of this research is to know the source of the idea of the form, and the development of batik walang in Gunungkidul seen from the beginning was created until now used by gunungkidul people even outside people who are interested in the motif of batik walang. Research uses qualitative descriptive methods, with data collection using observation, interview, and documentation techniques, then the research instruments are the researchers themselves assisted by observation guidelines, interviews, and documentation. Validity of data with triangulation and persistence of observation, while data analysis techniques use the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results found from this study are: (1) Knowing the idea of the shape and development of Walang Jati Kencono batik motifs that are programmed as a characteristic uniform for students in Gunungkidul and strengthening local batik in order to drive the growth and empowerment of batik industry in Gunungkidul.  Keywords: Batik, Motif  Walang Jati Kencono, Gunungkidul, Craftsman

This research is motivated by the learning carried out by teachers is less attractive to elementary school students, resulting in student learning outcomes being low. The purpose of this study is to improve teacher teaching skills in designing teaching aids assisted by group guidance. This research is a school action research conducted at the Lubuk Batu Jaya sub-district target schools. The implementation of this study began February 18 to April 27, 2019. The subjects of this study were 4 groups of Mathematics teachers. Data analysis techniques are carried out through steps: data reduction, data presentation, verification. The results of the study showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II with the percentage and each category being 62% (sufficient) and 73% (good).

This study aims to analyze WhatsApp group-based learning on the achievement and learning difficulties of elementary school students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The population of this research is elementary schools in Glagaharum Porong District, Sidoarjo Regency. Through purposive sampling technique from several informants. Informants consist of teachers, parents of students, and students. Data collection in this study was carried out by: (1) interviews; (2) observation; and (3) documentation. The data collected through interviews, observation and documentation were then analyzed using inductive descriptive techniques. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data display and data levers. The results of the research of the three respondents agreed with WhatsApp-based learning as much as 28.5% and disagreed 71.48%.. It’s  WA-based learning an application there are obstacles experienced by teachers, parents and students, including the lack of facilities, and students bored the learning process.

This study aims to: (1) produce Pop Up Book learning media on Cultural Diversity materials in North Sumatra grade IV elementary students, (2) know the feasibility of Pop Up Book learning media on Cultural Diversity materials in North Sumatra grade IV elementary students from the validation of eligibility by material experts and media experts. This research is a type of research and development with reference to the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan (1974). Furthermore, the model is adapted into 3 stages, namely: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Development (Develop). The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative. The media developed is validated by one material expert and one media expert. Validation by media experts is carried out 2 stages and produces a product in the form of Pop Up Book media that is eligible for grade IV elementary students.  . Validation by media experts is carried out 2 stages and produces a product in the form of Pop Up Book media that is eligible for grade IV elementary students. Thus the learning media developed is considered worthy of use in learning.

Abstract: Abstract: This study aims to describe the ability of inquiry held by elementary school students at the time given inquiry-based activities. The method used is a qualitative descriptive conducted in one of the elementary schools in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra. The data collection is done by providing inquiry-based student activity sheet containing seven stages of activity. Sheets inquiry activities done by the students of Class I to Class IV Elementary School. Total student working inquiry activity sheet totaled 178 people. The results showed that there are five faculties of inquiry that arise and have a difference in every level of ability from Class I - Class VI. Fifth ability of inquiry that emerged is experiencing growth of the number of students who mastered at each level and the composition of each capability. Classically students at the level of Class I and Class II is not yet mastered the ability of inquiry.Keywords: the ability of an inquiry, the elementary school studentsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kemampuan inkuiri yang dikuasai siswa Sekolah Dasar pada saat diberikan kegiatan berbasis inkuiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di salah satu Sekolah Dasar di kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan siswa lembar kegiatan berbasis inkuiri yang berisi tujuh tahapan kegiatan. Lembar kegiatan inkuiri dikerjakan oleh siswa Kelas I hingga Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Total keseluruhan siswa yang mengerjakan lembar kegiatan inkuiri berjumlah 178 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima kemampuan inkuiri yang muncul dan memiliki perbedaan pada setiap kemampuan dari tingkatan Kelas I – Kelas VI. Kelima kemampuan inkuiri yang muncul ini mengalami perkembangan dari jumlah siswa yang menguasai pada setiap jenjang dan komposisi pada setiap kemampuan. Secara klasikal siswa pada tingkatan Kelas I dan Kelas II dikatakan belum menguasai kemampuan inkuiri.Kata kunci : kemampuan inkuiri, siswa sekolah dasar

This research is describe the analysis of batik extracurricular activities to the ability of batik painting of elementary school students in Mantingan Village, Jaken Sub-district, Pati Regency. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach with principal subject, extracurricular batik trainer, and students of SD N Mantingan. The object of this study is the analysis of batik extracurricular activities on the ability of art batik. Data collection is done by observation, interview. The data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. To test the validity of the data used persistence. Batik extracurricular activities that have been implemented in SD N Mantingan have a role on the ability of batik art to produce various works of batik art. The ability of batik art, among others, elements and principles of art are taught by trainers or teachers able to make students can be creative, work, develop creativity, express feelings, talents, motivation and independence.

In teaching Indonesian language, the unification between language and culture is a really interesting source of study. The objectives of this study is to explore the identity of Gatotkaca character values of local wisdom found in the elementary school students’ reading book in several elementary schools in Sukoharjo Regency. This study was designed with a qualitative descriptive research model with content analysis technique. The data and data sources were taken from an elementary school student's reading book Gatotkaca Satria from Pringgodani. The results revealed that the local wisdom indicators primarily found in the reading book of Gatotkaca Satria Pringgodani including values of patriotism and other values such as discipline, hard work, creativity, sovereignty, democracy, respect for achievement, companionship, peace-loving, love of reading, and care to environment, social security, and responsibility. Gatotkaca principally showed the attitudes that can motivate students to develop patriotic sense.

This study aims to describe the mistake of speaking in Indonesia done sixth grade at SDN 1 Galagamba. This research is a descriptive type. The source of the data in this study are students of sixth grade SDN 1 Galagamba. The instruments used in this research include observation sheets and recording device. Analytical techniques used in analyzing data error-language i.e. qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this research show that there were errors in using Indonesian, which include phonological, morphological, sintactical, semantic, cohesion, coherence, and logic in the process of discussions performed by elementary school students. The advice of this research, the teacher can use the results of the analysis on language errors made by students as reflection of learning.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek-aspek kemampuan menulis pantun siswa kelas V SD. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif.Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah jawaban tes perbuatan pantun karya siswa kelas V SD. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah validitas data dan realibilitas data. Analisis data diperoleh dari aspek-aspek kemampuan menulis pantun siswa kelas V SD yang menunjukkan bahwa (1)8 siwa yang mendapatkan kategori penilaian sangat baik dengan hasil persentase 30,76%, (2) 6 siswa yang mendapatkan kategori penilaian baik dengan hasil persentase 23,07%, (3) 2 siswa yang mendapatkan kategori penilaian cukup dengan hasil persentase 07,69%, (4) 6 siswa yang mendapatkan kategori penilaian kurang dengan hasil persentase 23,07%, dan (5) 4 siswa yang mendapatkan kategori penilaian gagal dengan hasil persentase 15,38%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa dalam menulis pantun yaitu 70 dengan kategori baik. The method used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the data in this study is the answer to the act of rhyme test by the fifth-grade elementary school students. Data analysis techniques used are data validity and data reliability. Data analysis was obtained from aspects of the ability to write rhymes for fifth-grade elementary school students which showed that (1) 8 students who received very good assessment categories with the percentage results of 30.76%, (2) 6 students who got good assessment categories with percentage results of 23, 07%, (3) 2 students who get enough assessment categories with percentage results 07.69%, (4) 6 students who get less assessment categories with percentage results of 23.07%, and (5) 4 students who get assessment categories failed with a percentage of 15.38%. The conclusion from this study that the average value of students in writing rhymes is 70 with a good category. Keywords: analysis, poetry writing

The meaning of numbers which is often referred to as Number Sense is very important for students to understand specifically in elementary school. Correspondingly, elementary school students who are new to numbers must be given a real experience that they experience as a means of building an understanding of the meaning of numbers. In connection with that, this study aims to investigate the understanding of elementary school students in class I who are taught with instructional media in the design of coastal areas. The subjects of this study consisted of 2 elementary schools with a total of 42 subjects who were located on the coast. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of learning and its impact on number sense. The results of the data analysis showed that the effectiveness of learning mathematics using media designed in the coastal area was in a good category and students' understanding of the meaning of numbers after treatment significantly increased by 21.3%.
