This study aims to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model on the Mathematics Problem Solving Ability of Class IV Students on Fractions. This research was conducted at SDN Cikoko 03 with a sample of fourth grade students in the first semester of the 2020/2021 school year. Samples were taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The method used is a quasi-experimental research method (quasi experimental research) with a pretest-posttest control group design research design. The data was collected using an instrument in the form of descriptions that have been theoretically and empirically validated. The data obtained were analyzed using the normality test with the Liliefors test, and the homogeneity test with the Bartlett test. The results of the normality and homogeneity tests show that the data are normally distributed and the class is homogeneous. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by t-test. The results of t-test calculations, obtained t count of 8.25 and t table of 1.99 for the significant level ∝ = 0.05 and dk = 62, so that t count is greater than t table (8.25> 1.99), then the hypothesis zero null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning model has a positive and significant effect on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

This study aimed to determine the effect of the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model with the outdoor approach towards students’ ability in mathematical representation. It was quasi-experimental research consisting of two experimental classes and one control group. It used a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was the students of SUPM Tegal. Sampling was conducted using cluster random consisting of three classes. The first experimental group was carried out by implementing the learning model of CTL with the outdoor approach. The second experimental group was carried out by implementing a learning model of CTL, while the control group was conducted by implementing a conventional learning model. The research instrument was a 7-point mathematical representation test in the form of an essay. The results of the research were 1) the learning model of CTL with an outdoor approach affected the improvement and achievement of the students’ ability in mathematical representation and was higher than CTL and a conventional learning; 2) the improvement of the students’ ability of representation in the groups of CTL with outdoor approach, CTL, and conventional learning respectively was in high, medium, and low category.

This study aims to determine the effect of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning models assisted by android-based applications with thunkable on students' interest in learning. This type of research is an experiment with a pretest - posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of SDN Candirejo 02, Ungaran Barat District, Semarang Regency, then for the research sample was class 5 SDN Candirejo 02, Ungaran Barat District, Semarang Regency with random sampling techniques. The data collection technique used is the scale of observation, tests, questionnaires (questionnaires) and documentation. Data were analyzed by normality test, homogeneity test, t test and regression test. The results of the research show: (1) There are differences in the use of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning models assisted by android-based applications with thunkable on students' learning interest, this is evidenced by the significance level > 0.05, i.e. 0.000 > 0.05 using the t test (2 ) There is an effect of the use of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning models assisted by android-based applications with thunkable on students' interest in learning, this is evidenced by a significance level of < 0.05, i.e. 0.000 > 0.05 using a regression test. The results of this study can be concluded that the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning model assisted by android-based applications with thunkable has an effect on increasing student interest in learning.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) terhadap kemampuan sains permulaan anak kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus V Kecamatan Klungkung. Penelitian iniadalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment). Desain penelitiannya adalah Non Equivalen Pretest-Posttest Control Group Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 175 anak Taman Kanak-kanak yang berada di gugus V Kecamatan Klungkung. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara acak 2 kelas dari 8 kelas anggota populasi, sehingga diperoleh anak kelompok B TK Nurul Huda sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan anak kelompok B TK Kumara Dewa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kemampuan sains permulaan digunakan pedoman observasi yang teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Untuk menguji hipotesis data diuji dengan uji-t. hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap kemampuan sains permulaan anak Taman Kanak-kanak (t=11,278>Sig.(2-tailed) 0,000). Kata-kata kunci : CTL, Sains Permulaan, AUD AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model on the scientific ability of children in Group B of Kondergarten Cluster V in Klungkung Subdistrict. The population in this study were 175 kindergartens in the V cluster of Klungkung Subdistrict. The study sample wa randomly selected 2 classes from 8 classes of population members, so that the children of group B TK Nurul Huda were obtained as the experimental group and the children in the group B TK Kumara Dewa as a control group. To collect data on early science skills, observation guidelines were used that tested their validity and reliability.To test the hypothesis the data was tested by t-test. This research is entitled “Using graphic organizer strategy in teaching writing on narrative paragraph (experimental research). Writing is a very important subject that should be learned by English learners. The students should be able to express their ideas and opinion either in the form of a sentence or paragraph. However, the researcher found that many students at the Second Grade Students of SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Luas could not express their ideas and develop into the paragraph. Hence, the appropriate strategy of teaching and learning is very important to help students master writing skills. This research aims to know the effect of achievement between the students who are taught writing by using graphic organizers from those taught writing in the narrative by using traditional methods. This research was experimental research and used a quasi-experimental design. The samples chosen in this research were the whole students of class VIII2 and VIII4 of SMPN 1 Tanah Luas. Class VIII2 consisted of 25 students was chosen as experimental group and class VIII4 consisted of 24 students was chosen as control group. This research was conducted in three phrases; there were pre-test, treatments and post-test. The data collection technique used in this research was test. The tests were pre-test and post-test. The researcher gave pre-test before giving treatment and post-test after giving treatment. The treatment was conducted in three meetings. The data was analyzed by using t-test formula. The research result and the hypothesis authentication found by using t-test formula in significant level 5% or α = 0.05 were obtained that ttest > ttable. The ttest found in this research was 3.91. Meanwhile, ttable was gotten from the list of distribution value with degree of freedom = 47, because the data not in the table, the researcher used interpolation approach and obtained = 1.67. So >  = 3.91 > 1.67. It meant that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. So, graphic organizer strategy significantly affects the students’ ability in mastering writing.   Kata Kunci: graphic organizer strategy, teaching and learning, writing narrative paragraph

One ability that students must master is problem solving. Increasing students’ problem-solving ability will improve their mindset. The alternative used to increase students’ problem-solving ability is applying Problem Based Learning model. This study aims to understand the presence or absence of the application of the model of the application of Problem Based Learning to the problem solving of students of class VII PGRI (Equated) Sungguminasa. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design of the Control Posttest Group. The population in this study in all VII class SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa and selected class VII A as an experimental class with consultations with the Problem Based Learning model and class VII C as a control class with training in direct learning models involving the community. The technique of collecting data in this study is the test then analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using the t test (Independent Sample t-test). Based on the results of the study concluded that the Problem Based Learning model determines the problem-solving abilities of students of class VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa.AbstrakSalah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa adalah pemecahan masalah. Meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah akan berpengaruh pada peningkatan mindset siswa. Salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemapuan pemecahan masalah siswa adalah dengan mengaplikasikan model Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Control Group Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa dan terpilih kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan model Problem Based Learning dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran langsung yang mewakili populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes kemudian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji t (Independent Sample t-test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa.

Berkembangnya kemampuan berpikir siswa dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki tentang pengaruh model treffinger terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada siswa. Design quasi experimental diterapkan dengan menggunakan post-test only control group design. Studi ini melibatkan 62 siswa dari total 144 siswa. Instrument berupa soal tes sebanyak 35 soal pilihan ganda. Uji parametrik dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t digunakan untuk menganalisis data hasil nilai post-test. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (63,41>54,27). Perhitungan dari uji t menunjukkan bahwa model treffinger berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa. Sintak pada model treffinger berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa pada materi ekosistem dan perubahan lingkungan. Tahap I (Basic Tools) dapat meningkatkan dua indikator kemampuan memecahkan masalah yaitu merumuskan masalah dan hipotesis.Kata kunci: Kemampuan merumuskan masalah, kemampuan berhipotesis, perubahan lingkungan, ekosistem Treffinger creative learning model towards problem-solving ability in environmental and ecosystem change material. The growing ability of student thinking can affect students ' ability to solve problems. The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of treffinger's learning models towards the ability to solve problems in students. The quasi-experimental design is applied using the post-test only control group design. The study involved 62 students from a total of 144 students. The Instrument uses 35 questions of multiple-choice. The post-test value Data is analyzed using the normality test, homogeneity test, and T-test. The results of this study indicate that the experiment class has a higher value compared to the control class (63.41 > 54.27). Calculations from the T-test show that treffinger's model affects the ability to solve students' problems. The syntax of treffinger's models was able to improve the ability to answer students' issues in environmental and ecosystem change materials. Stage I (Basic Tools) can increase two indicators of problem-solving capability that is formulating issues and hypotheses.Keywords: Ability to formulate problems, ability to hypothesize, environmental changes, ecosystem

Abstract: This research is focused on  to cope with the problems commonly encountered by students in learning Arabic including low retention, low motivation, lack of skills and unsatisfactory learning achievement due to insufficient learning facilities and variations.  This study is aimed at acquiring  obtaining empirical data "The influence of Arabic language-based learning model SAVI (somatic visual auditory intellectual) in improving the learning outcomes of students of class VIII in MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in 2016/2017". This study is a quasi-experimental research (quasi experimental research). Based on the analysis of homogeneity is known that both data result of learning the Arabic language learners class VIII G (experimental class) and the result of learning the Arabic language learners class VIII F (control group) have the same variance (homogeneous). So as to test the hypothesis can be used t-test. The calculation result obtained using t-test, t-test = 4.698 and of the distribution table at significant level known ttabel = 2.00 therefore thit> ttable.The results of these calculations at the same time also shows that the application of the model of learning Arabic based SAVI can significantly affect the learning outcome Arabic language learners because learning model Arabic-based SAVI can make students more creative, independent, more active and feel unfettered in the learning process in the classroom. Keywords: Arabic, Learning, Models, SAVI

Abstract This research was conducted to find out whether or not The Use of Contextual Teaching and Learning Method was Improve Students’ Understanding on The use of Relative Clause at Sorong Muhammadiyah University. The research method employed was quasi experimental groups. The population of this research was conducted at fifth semesters on English Education Department at Sorong Muhammadiyah University. The sample was chosen by applying stratified sampling technique. This research assigned two groups namely control and experimental groups. Each group consisted of 20 students.. Instrument of this research was test. The research gets the result that Contextual Teaching and Learning Method was effective to improve students’ understanding on the use of Relative Clause. The result of test showed that there was significant progress in students. The results of the research showed that mean score posttest of the experimental group was 84 and the control group was 80. It means that the result of the mean score posttest of experimental group is higher than control group. By using the degree of significance 5% or 0.05 in the t-table it was gotten 2.021. So that t-test value was more than of t-table value (H1: 5,31 > 2.021), So that alternative hypothesis is accepted, while Null hypothesis is rejected (Ho: 5,31 < 2.021). It can be proved that there was a significant on Contextual teaching and Learning method to improve students’ understanding on the use of relative clause. Key words: Relative Clause, Contextual Teaching and Learning.

This research applied experimental design with a quantitative approach. It was quasi-experimental research type. The instrument research used test (pre-test and post-test) and documentation. The population of this research was the whole class XI  students of  SMAN 3 Pamekasan and the sample of this research was XI-MIPA3 as control group and XI-MIPA4 as experimental group. The control group was 30 students and either the experimental group. So, the sample of this research was 60 students. the The data collected were analyzed by using t-test formula to find whether any effect of using physical line-up game on students’ grammar achievement at the eleventh grade of SMAN 3 Pamekasan. The result of this study showed that t-value ( ) is higher than t-table ( ) either 5% or 1% where (5% = 1,67 < 3,33) or (1% = 2,39 < 3,33). But in this case, the researcher used significant on 5% (5% = 1,67 < 3,33). Thus, it can be concluded that Ha (Alternative Hypothesis) was accepted and the Ho (Null Hypothesis) was rejected. So, the effect was far in achieving the student’s ability of grammar comprehension by using physical line-up game.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini menerapkan desain eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian kuasi-eksperimental. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes (pre-test dan post-test) dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMAN 3 Pamekasan dan sampel penelitian ini adalah XI-MIPA3 sebagai kelompok kontrol dan XI-MIPA4 sebagai kelompok. Jumlah siswa pada Kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen adalah 33 siswa. Jadi, sampel penelitian ini adalah 66 siswa. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus t-test untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan physical line-up game terhadap prestasi grammar siswa pada kelas XI SMAN 3 Pamekasan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa t-nilai (t0) lebih tinggi dari t-tabel (tt) baik 5% atau 1% di mana (5% = 1,67 <3,33) atau (1 % = 2,39 <3,33). Tetapi dalam hal ini, peneliti menggunakan signifikan pada 5% (5% = 1,67 <3,33). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha (Hipotesis Alternatif) diterima dan Ho (Null Hypothesis) ditolak. Jadi, efeknya jauh dalam mencapai kemampuan pemahaman gramatika siswa dengan menggunakan physical line-up game.
