Mathematics physics is a difficult learning and becomes a scourge in studies in physics education. Learning physics and mathematics itself will be very effective when using e-modules, but in terms of making e-modules, students' opinions or perceptions are needed regarding this matter. This study aims to look at student perceptions and also compare these perceptions with other classes based on gender or gender. The research conducted is a survey type quantitative research. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with the research subject as many as 92 physics education students who contracted the mathematics physics course. The instrument used in collecting data is 15 questions containing 4 choices that must be filled out by students. Analysis of the data used in this study in the form of descriptive analysis and ANOVA test to determine whether there is an average difference in each student's perception. The results obtained indicate that girls have different perceptions in class A and class B, while for boys there is a difference between class A and class C. These results indicate that girls have a fairly large average difference in perception with each other, while for boys the perception tends to be uniform compared to girls.

Based on the observations in mathematics physics I, several obstacles were found in teaching and learning activities such as the lack of teaching materials that were easily understood by students. This is because the main books used are books in English as a whole. Therefore, the researcher developed an electronic book, namely the e-module of mathematical physics I on partial differential material created using the 3D PageFlip Professional application. The type of research used is a comparative type of quantitative research. The population in this study were students of physics education class 2019 with a sample of 80 regular classes A and B. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics using the IBM SPSS Statistic 25 application consisting of descriptive test, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. In the assumption test, the data is normally distributed and homogeneous so that a t-test can be performed. The t-test obtained a sig value of 0,043 for gender differences in class A, and 0,010 for gender differences in class B. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there are significant (significant) differences in perceptions based on gender in each. class A and B. Where the perception of female students is higher than the perception of male students, but overall students gave a good perception of the mathematics physics e-module on partial differential material.

ABSTRACT  This research was motivated by the low self-confidence development of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City. It is suspected that the cause of the child's low self-confidence is partly due to the inappropriate application of parenting methods. This study aims to: 1) describe the parenting methods applied by parents to children; 2) describes the self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years; and 3) looking at the relationship between parenting methods and the self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City. This research is a correlational quantitative research. The population in this study were children aged 6-7 years and their mothers as many as 50 people with a sample of 75%, namely 38 people with simple random sampling technique. The data technique used a questionnaire and a check for the observation of children's self-confidence development, the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and formula-data-moment.The results of this study indicate: 1) the parenting methods applied by parents to children aged 6-7 years are still inaccurate and inconsistent; 2) the development of self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years is still low; and 3) there is a significant relationship between parenting methods and the development of self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City. Research suggestions are: 1) it is hoped that parents in Anak Air Kelurahan Batipuh Panjang Padang City can pay attention to and apply the application of parenting methods to children so that they can contribute to the development of children's self-confidence as expected; and 2) it is hoped that further researchers can find or examine other variables that affect the development of children's self-confidence. Keywords: self-confidence, parenting methods, family education

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the problem based learning (PBL) learning model to students' interest in learning chemistry on the topic of chemical equilibrium. This research is a quantitative research type of quasi experiment using posttest only design. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru. The sample was determined using simple random sampling technique. Data on students 'interest in learning chemistry are collected using a questionnaire based on five categories, namely the level of students' interest in chemistry, personal choice, teacher's role, situational interest, and willingness to attend chemistry learning. Quantitative data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, percentage, and One-Way ANOVA hypothesis testing. Descriptive analysis is used to describe the interest in learning chemistry. The results showed that there were significant differences in interest in learning chemistry between students applying PBL learning models and expository learning models on the topic of chemical equilibrium. Interest in learning chemistry of students is still relatively low, but students who use the PBL model show higher scores than expository classes. Male students are more interested in chemistry than female students.
