The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the role of Total Quality Management (TQM) on business performance in various dimensions. This study proposes a conceptual model that intends to study several research hypotheses. The data were obtained through an online questionnaire, sent to pharmaceutical companies manufactured generic products in Indonesia. The study was conducted based on responses received from 168 valid questionnaires, and it was used partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypotheses. Furthermore, we use both of reflective and formative construct with second order/higher order construct in our model of study which is rarely found in the previous study. This research analyzed the dimensions studied in different aspects. TQM variable consists of seven practice, namely management commitment, supplier quality, employee involvement, leadership management, customer orientation, continuous improvement and quality management system, and with respect to business performance, this variable was analyzed through four different perspectives, namely, financial, customer, internal business process and learning & growth. The findings indicate that companies adopt total quality management get improvement in their business performance. Leadership management has greater effect on the successful of TQM practice compared to other TQM dimensions. This study also provides a particular contribution for the companies and expect to be used as feedback related to the execution of their TQM implementation to improve their business performance. The object study of this research is pharmaceutical Industries in Indonesia. This research reveals the proper innovation strategy execution and effective implementation of Total Quality Management in business performance improvement. In this context, data collected from 168 managers at 42 firms operating in pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia were analyzed. The partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method is used to test the hypotheses both of reflective and formative construct with second order/higher order construct in our model of study. The findings support the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant effect of innovation strategy and Total Quality Management on improving business performance of the company. The result of this research will have strategic implications for the company and expect to be used as feedback related to the execution of their innovation strategies and TQM implementation promptly to improve their business performance.

The reason for this examination was to explore the interceding job of Total Quality Management (TQM) between entrepreneurial orientation (EO) AND SME trade executions in the assembling area. This investigation was begun from the way that lone a couple of studies have inspected on how the company's impalpable assets and capacities, for example, EO and TQM drives Small and Medium Enterprise’s' export execution. A few questionnaires in Likert scale were utilized to gather the information and 364 usable reactions were gotten from the owner/CEO of exporting SMEs. Incomplete Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was utilized for the information examination. The discoveries uncover noteworthy connection among Entrepreneurial Orientation and TQM with Small and Medium Enterprise export execution. Besides, this investigation found the correlative interceding job of TQM among Entrepreneurial Orientation and SME export execution of production sector. This investigation has suggestions for proprietor/supervisors of SMEs. The outcomes offer a superior comprehension with respect to EO and TQM usage to SMEs proprietor/chiefs. In this way, proprietor/directors of SMEs can take better choices for the execution of TQM rehearses. Moreover, as far as researcher could possibly know, this investigation looks at SMEs export execution in relationship with the TQM as the moderating variable between EO and SME export execution.

By integrating resource-based view and theory of quality management we evaluated the moderating role of competitive intensity on the link between total quality management (TQM) implementation and SME performance. Using a stratified random sampling, 357 self-administered questionnaires were distributed to owner‐managers of SMEs operating in Kano and Kaduna in the north-west geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Of the 714 questionnaires distributed, 440 unusable questionnaires with 57 percent responses were returned and further analysed. The hypotheses were tested using Partial least squares structural equation modeling. Results supported the hypothesised main effect of TQM implementation on SME performance. However, our empirical study revealed that competitive intensity does not moderate positive relationship between TQM implementation and SME performance.

The main objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on innovation performance with the mediator role of organizational learning in ABBAND Mazandaran manufacturing and industrial Company. The research design was descriptive and correlation and specifically is based on structural equation model. The study population was all supervisors and employees of ABBAND Mazandaran manufacturing and industrial Company. For measuring variables of research, three questionnaires were used based on the Likert 5 options range and the questionnaires were distributed among 220 supervisors and employees of ABBAND Mazandaran Company. Content validity of the three questionnaires was carried out by a number of experts and management professionals and the reliability of TQM, Learning Organization and innovation performance questionnaires was determined by Cronbach's alpha coefficient as 0.96, 0.82, and 0.94, respectively. The results showed that there is a causal relationship between TQM, learning organization and innovation performance. Also, organizational learning mediates the effect of TQM on innovation performance.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze the influences of TQM implementation on employees’ productivity in crumb rubber industry (case study conducted in the XYZ firm), and analyze the predominant factors affecting employees’ productivity in order to establish the success of TQM implementation. Design/methodology/approach Data used in the research was primary data obtained from interview and questionnaire, and secondary data obtained from the study of literatures, internet, and company’s documents. The number of respondents in this research was 191. The analysis was done through structural equation modeling (SEM) using the smart partial least square software. Findings The findings of this study showed that TQM implementation had positive influences on employees’ productivity in XYZ. Tool is the most predominant factor in order to achieve a successful TQM implementation in XYZ. Therefore, the XYZ company will need to work on improving the development and management of the tool which has been available to sustain the effectiveness of TQM practices. Research limitations/implications Using a large sample size in the SEM method could improve the results. The implications of this study can be demonstrated through how top managers in this rubber company can improve their employees’ productivity through total quality management practices. Practical implications This research is useful for manufacturing companies in Indonesia, especially in the crumb rubber industry. Originality/value This research used the variable based on the empirical research. TQM was measured using six indicators: human resources, standard, tools, organization, internal audit, and training and education. On the other hand, the work productivity of employees is measured by four indicators: work willingness, work ability, work environment, and work relations.

A total of 148 employees of Shirin Asal Company (Tehran Branch) constituted the research statistical population that Cochran’s formula was used to choose 106 subjects as the sample size by a simple random sampling method.Standard questionnaires were employed to gather the essential data. The validity and reliability of variables were also examined and approved. The reliability rates for business ethics, organizational culture, and total quality management were calculated to be equivalent to 0.78, 0.89, and 0.90, respectively. The structural equation modeling method assisted with the Smart PLS2 software was utilized for data analysis. Revealed by the research findings, organizational culture influences business ethics and total quality management. Business ethics was also found to act as a mediating variable in the relationship between organizational culture and total quality management. In conclusion, organizational culture and business ethics affect the satisfactory implementation of TQM, which somehow requires managers and stakeholders to particularly consider these components.

This paper is made to present a Total Quality Management (TQM) Model for Healthcare Industry for Indonesia. From previous study, there are nine Total Quality Management (TQM) practices in healthcare industry such as Top Management Commitment (TMC), Teamwork and Participation (TWP), Process Management (PM), Customer Focus and Satisfaction (CFS), Resource Management (RM), Organizational Behavior and Culture (OBC), Continuous Improvement (CI), Training and Education (TE) and Information Management (IM) . However, these practices are not integrated yet. Therefore, this paper aims to integrate these practices by applying Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). After administering about 200 questionnaires using Linear Structural Relations (LISREL) program, the p-value is at 0.45 above required 0.05 giving the meaning that the model is good fit. This signifies that these nine TQM practices are required to achieve goals of the industry
