Catfish is a food ingredient that is readily widespread and can easily be cultivated, although the community might have relatively limited space. Catfish may also provide several business opportunities for the community amidst the covid-19 pandemic. One potentially profitable business idea is to process catfish into nuggets because nuggets are popular among both children and adults alike. Nuggets can also be used as a practical substitute for side dishes. This activity aims to provide training on how to process catfish into nuggets for the women from PKK (Family Welfare Development/Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) and cadre programs in Lidah Wetan Gang VI, Lakarsantri, Surabaya. The program was held in PPT CERIA RT 3 RW 3, Lidah Wetan Gang VI, Lakarsantri, Surabaya. Before the training, all the necessary permits and information were obtained to ensure the program's success. The training activity shows how the catfish nuggets have a shape and texture of typical nuggets with their taste like chicken nuggets. However, what makes the catfish nuggets unique is that they still retain a slight distinctive catfish taste. It is expected that this activity will benefit the community, especially those interested in the catfish processing business.

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the business and analyze the opportunities and threats of Trigona Ongka farm in Laompo Village, Batauga District, South Buton Regency. The research was conducted from January to February 2020 in Laompo Village, Batauga District, South Buton Regency. The sample in this study was 1 (one) honeybee breeders (Trigona sp). The method used is the independent sample t-test and the R / C feasibility analysis. Business opportunities and threats are analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the business feasibility of Trigona sp honey bee livestock through the STUP and topping method was 1.5, (R/C > 1), meaning that each additional cost incurred resulted in a larger increase in revenue as much as IDR 1,400,000 for the STUP method and IDR 1,500,000 for the topping method instead of additional costs or simply profitable business activities. The honey bee livestock business opportunity of Trigona sp, namely honey as a favorite that is popular, relatively stable price, partially known production of the community, the location is easy to reach by vehicles, the availability of large land for business development. While the threat of Trigona sp honey bee livestock, namely: lack of environmental carrying capacity, so that environmental improvements and increasing the number of bee colonies are needed to increase honey production, do not have a product brand to be widely commercialized, product quality standardization is still poorly understood by breeders, there is no internal coordination between breeders to strengthen institutions and lack of access to assistance from capital institutions in terms of capital.  Keywords: Prospects, Business Feasibility, Honey Bees

This chapter introduces virtual Organisations (VOs) as a special organisational form of collaborative networks of SMEs to conduct E-Business projects. VOs are normally not created from scratch, but instantiated from a strategic network or pool of enterprises. This enhances the preparedness of participating members when an E-Business opportunity occurs. The underlying strategic network acts as a breeding environment for the VOs. Therefore, it is called a VO Breeding Environment (VBE). Examples from the automotive industry are illustrating the development and needs of this concept. Strategic planning is important for such a network in order to increase chances of occurring business opportunities. The remainder of this chapter shows how scenario-oriented methods such as cross-impact analysis can be used to support a collaborative strategic planning in such networked organisations. The application of such methods allows long-term foresight and the anticipation of the right technological, financial and business oriented decisions.

The process of opportunity identification is under-emphasized in higher education; and there is a need for validated educational strategies to foster this competence in science students. In a previous study, three strategies were elaborated and evaluated in the classroom: stimulating the use of idea generation techniques, stimulating the conceptualization and evaluation of business opportunities, and promoting the transfer of knowledge and skills in opportunity identification. The focus of this validation study is on whether expert teachers use these strategies in teaching, which sub-strategies they use and whether they use additional strategies with the same objective. It was found that expert teachers frequently applied the previously reported strategies feasibly and effectively and reported various sub-strategies. Moreover, they described three additional strategies: selecting students for an elective by assessing their business idea, providing time for incubation of the business opportunity and challenging students to abandon routine problem-solving patterns.

This study aimed to determine the business opportunities for making educational game tools during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was a qualitative research using literature study method. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The development of children's abilities during this pandemic cannot be underestimated. Parents and teachers must work together to create an effective learning for children. In designing an interesting and effective learning, one must use learning media that can attract children's interest. Therefore educational play tools were a solution to the problems faced by most parents during this pandemic. Educational play tools become a medium for creating meaningful learning activities for children. Seeing the importance of this educational game tool, the public's demand for this media was increasing. This was one of the factors that made selling educational game tools a promising business opportunity. Several manufacturers that produce educational games have experienced an increase in the number of orders and this has resulted in an increase in sales turnover. Business opportunities in the sale of educational game tools based on market analysis will continue to increase. This was because parents' awareness of child development was increasing. Based on this, to start a business in this field a number of things that must be done are starting to become a reseller, expanding the sales network, increasing cooperation with foundations engaged in child education and looking for craftsmen partners to start producing their own.

The background of this research is that there are still not many people (traders) in Lubuk Basung, who use sharia banking services in financing assessments at Bank Syariah Mandiri KCP Lubuk Basung. This can be seen from the number of outdated Lubuk Basung market traders which increased from 2014-2018 but still cannot be utilized by Bank Syariah Mandiri Lubuk Basung KCP to become its customers. Research by the author is to use field research methods or quantitative descriptive field research that is about phenomena, events, and human life by being involved directly and / or indirectly in the settings studied, contextual and comprehensive. This research was conducted to determine the business opportunities of Bank Syariah Mandiri KCP in Lubuk Basung. Based on the results of research and analysis by the author about the business opportunities of the Bank Syariah Mandiri Lubuk Basung KCP with a case study of outdated Lubuk Basung market traders, there is a business opportunity of the Bank Syariah Mandiri KCP Lubuk Basung as seen in terms of problem analysis and situation analysis, analysis of unknown areas and analysis of targeted customer surveys. Whereas the biggest opportunity comes from problem analysis and situation analysis.

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan Universitas Buana Perjuangan (UBP) Karawang serta menganalisis dampak berdirinya UBP Karawang terhadap peluang-peluang usaha di sekitar kampus. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan fenomena secara kualitatif yang terdapat di lokasi penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus tunggal (Single Case Study). Penelitian dilaksanakan di lokasi sekitar kampus UBP Karawang (radius 500 m), Desa Puseurjaya dan Sirnabaya dan Sirnabaya Kecamatan Telukjambe Timur Karawang. Dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling.. Responden terdiri dari para pedagang di sekitar kampus UBP Karawang, tokoh masyarakat, serta unsur pimpinan UBP Karawang. Sedangkan waktu penelitian mulai bulan Januari sampai dengan Agustus 2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan perguruan tinggi di Puseurjaya dan Sirnabaya memberikan dampak yang positif bagi masyarakat umum yaitu pertama membuka peluang usaha sehingga banyak tenaga kerja yang terserap, baik itu membuka usaha sendiri maupun bekerja pada pengusaha lain. Kedua memunculkan motivasi bagi anak-anak setempat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan pada jenjang tertinggi, sehingga pada akhirnya nanti dapat membangun daerahnya. Walaupun peluang untuk usaha di sekitar kampus UBP Karawang sangat besar, tetapi belum dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat setempat. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat setempat berupa rendahnya motivasi, kurangnya keberanian menanggung resiko serta kurangnya permodalan sehingga tidak dapat bersaing dengan pengusaha pendatang. Kata Kunci: dampak, perguruan tinggi, peluang usaha, masyarakat sekitar kampus. ABSTRACT THE IMPACT OF UNIVERSITY EXISTENCE IN IMPROVING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES The objective of this research is to describe the perception of communities towards the existence of Universitas Buana Perjuangan (UBP) Karawang and to analyze the impact of UBP Karawang’s establishment in improving business opportunities around the campus. This is a descriptive-qualitative research aimed to describe the phenomenon that exists in the research location qualitatively. The research uses a single case study. The research was done around the location of UBP campus (radius of 500 m), Puseurjaya village and Sirnabaya sub-district East Telukjambe Karawang using pusposive sampling. The respondents consisted of merchants around the campus, public figures, and high officials of UBP Karawang. The research was done from January to August 2017. The result of the research suggested that the existence of a university in Puseurjaya and Sirnabaya gives a positive impact for the general communities. Firstly, giving business opportunities such that a lot of manpower are needed, either to open one’s own business of work for another entrepreneur. Secondly, giving the local children motivation to continue to higher education so that they can develop their region in the future. Although the business opportunities around UBP Karawang campus is very big, they still cannot be utilized fully by the local community. The problem faced by the local community consisting of low motivation, lacking courage to take risk, and lacking fund so that they cannot compete with the entrepreneurs that come from outside of the region. Nowadays, solid and transparent soap is often used as a display of wedding souvenirs, air freshener, and handicrafts. With the presence of a solid and transparent soap in very unique display and interesting this can make the soap is sold at a relatively more expensive price in the market. Regarding with the development of solid soap products that can produce several good benefits, this activity needs to be trained, developed and empowered to the parties who have the potential to produce these products. One of the parties that has the potential to be trained is the housewives in the PKK group (Family Welfare Empowerment) at Rawamangun, East Jakarta. This community service activity is done by using lecture and simulation/demonstration method through innovative product development of souvenir soap by using palm cooking oil. The results of the training show the enthusiasm and willingness of the participants to be able to perform individually in the manufacture of solid soap souvenir products and they can produce in large quantities. With this training, the housewives can practice themselves at home and be motivated to open business opportunities through these product so it can be feasible for sale in the market

ABSTRAK Pantai Indrayanti menjadi salah satu destinasi pilihan wisata bahari di Kabupaten Gunungkidul, D.I.Yogyakarta yang potensial untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi wisata, pemahaman dan persepsi responden dalam pengembangan wisata, serta peluang usaha masyarakat di kawasan wisata Pantai Indrayanti. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Febuari 2019 dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan menyebar kuesioner dan wawancara terhadap masing-masing 30 responden wisatawan, masyarakat lokal dan pengelola. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan skala Linkert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi wisata pantai Indrayanti dan wisata kuliner serta sarana prasarana dalam kategori baik. Pemahaman tentang potensi wisata pantai dan persepsi respoden terhadap pengembangan dan peran serta pemerintah termasuk dalam kategori baik. Prospek peluang usaha di Pantai Indrayanti baik dengan jenis usaha yang mempunyai prospek yaitu penyewaan tikar dan payung. ABSTRACT Indrayanti Beach is one of the marine tourism destinations option in the Gunungkidul Regency, D.I.Yogyakarta that potential to be developed. The research aims to find out tourism potential, respondent understanding and perception on tourism development, as well as tourism business opportunity of the residents in Indrayanti Beach. The research was conducted in February 2019 using descriptive qualitative methods. Data were collected using purposive sampling by distributing questionnaire and interviewing 30 respondents of each visitors, local resident and tourism administrator. Data was analyzed descriptively with a Likert Scale. The research showed that coastal potential tourism, culinary tourism and infrastructure can be categorized as ''Good''. Understanding of coastal tourism potential as well as perceptions of development and government participation of respondent can be categorized as ''Good''. The prospect of tourism business opportunities in the Indrayanti Beach was appropriate and the kind of business such as renting mats and umbrellas.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of entrepreneurial emotion on relationship between entrepreneurship education and business opportunity recognition. Entrepreneurship process begins when an entrepreneur recognizes a business opportunity that involves various emotions throughout the process. Although various activities and entrepreneurship programs are carried out in universities, the involvements of students and graduates in business start-ups are still small. The main factor is the failure to leverage potential business opportunities, which in turn, leads to the stability of emotion’s reliance. A total of 152 of final year students participated in this study. The data were collected from questionnaires, and the hypotheses were tested using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicated that entrepreneurship education, emotion and opportunity recognition were significantly related. It was also found that entrepreneurial emotion partially mediated the relationship between entrepreneurship education and opportunity recognition. The findings have confirmed that although entrepreneurship education helps improve students’ capabilities to adapt to new environments, and recognizes the potential of business opportunities, a stable emotion is crucial throughout the entire entrepreneurship process.
