Recent developments on the worldwide spread of Corona Virus Diseases-19 (COVID-19) show the vulnerability of human beings to pandemic risks in terms of biological, social, and economic factors. While human lives are the most important factor, a proposed solution dealing with pandemics should be sustainable which also includes other factors. Quarantines and physical distancing have been seen as effective ways to slow down the spread of COVID-19.  We therefore propose a market scheduling model with multi-objectives to support physical distancing minimizing the number of people in a certain area in a given time (crowds) and minimizing the virus spread rates. An analytical model is proposed and solved for Bandung City. The results show some promising ideas on how to slow down the virus spread without compromising both health and economic objectives. The future potential research of the model is also presented.

Background: In 2020, Indonesia experienced a pandemic period, during which the corona virus spread. Close contact is a factor in the transmission of the covid 19 virus. Applying health protocols is considered important to reduce the incidence of the increase in the covid 19 virus. Methods: The basic purpose of this service is to provide training and assistance in implementing health protocols for community groups, especially the recitation group for farmer women's groups in the village of Saronggi. The main purpose of this service is to suppress the spread of the corona virus in the community. Results: The results showed that the counseling and mentoring process at the Women's Farmer's Association in Saronggi village went smoothly and as expected. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of all members when listening to counseling and changes in the behavior or habits of members in implementing health protocols when carrying out activities Conclusions Suggestions that we can hope for are to remain disciplined with health protocols so that they can really suppress the spread of the virus and break the chain of the Corona Virus.

Microbes operate their metabolic activities at a unicellular level. However, it has been revealed that a few metabolic activities only prove beneficial to microbes if operated at high cell densities. These cell density-dependent activities termed quorum sensing (QS) operate through specific chemical signals. In Gram-negative bacteria, the most widely reported QS signals are acylhomoserine lactones. In contrast, a novel QS-like system has been elucidated, regulating communication between microbes and plants through strigolactones. These systems regulate bioprocesses, which affect the health of plants, animals, and human beings. This mini-review presents recent developments in the QS and QS-like signal molecules in promoting plant health.

ISUM (The Idealized Structural Unit Method) was born in 1972 to efficiently and accurately analyze the behavior of large size structures up to and beyond their ultimate strength. In this method a structure is divided into large elements, basically its structural units (members). Geometric and material non-linear behavior inside the element is formulated and expressed at a limited number of nodal points at the element boundaries. In this way a large structure can be modeled using a coarse mesh while still being able to consider the nonlinear behavior until the collapse of the structure. Several ISUM elements have been formulated and used to analyze the non-linear behavior of large ship structures. In further developments, more elements with more accurate formulations have been developed and more types of structures have been analyzed using this method. The same ISUM concept has been applied to the analysis of welding deformation of large welded structures and to failure analysis of structural and mechanical components subjected to impact loads. In this paper, the basic ISUM concept is outlined, and several elements are presented. Examples of applications to ships and marine structures are presented demonstrating the effectiveness of the method. Recent developments are also reviewed and future potential is explored.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of pandemics in all regions of Indonesia. the method used is the Newthon Rapshon interpolation method, to determine the percentage of the development of the corona virus spread in Indonesia and the method using a qualitative method by analyzing and describing data that has been simulated. The results obtained are predictions of covid-19 cases that occur in May, June, July until August, ie in those months there will be an increase in all cases that occur about this pandemic namely positive patients, recovered and died will continue to increase with a positive final conclusion> cured = died and obtained pn (x) = 2 for patients cured, pn(x) = 0 for cured and dead patients, in this study found pn(x) = 0 because the vaccine for this pandemic has not been found so the possibility of recovery and death has not been obtained its MAPE value, but an increase in cases of recovery is predicted to continue to occur as well as cases of death.

n protecting workers from the corona virus: COVID-19, the employment preparedness for preventive action must be carried out in accordance with health protocol. Preventive efforts are best practices to reduce the impact of COVID-19 at XX Hotels. Hotel XX has conducted a feasibility evaluation of the health protocol for the employment preparedness. This protocol aims to handle the prevention of Covid-19, especially for workers, guests and stakeholders. While the vaccine has not been given to the public/workers, the prevention of positive cases of Covid-19 expects all parties to implement the health protocol. The health protocol assessment results in XX Hotel show that the assessment achievement was 97% above the minimum 90%. Therefore, workers can be feasible to work according to the implementation of the health protocol and work with WFO (work from the office) in a new normal and get a certificate of eligibility for the health protocol.

Emotions are fundamental for human beings and play an important role in human cognition. Emotion is commonly associated with logical decision making, perception, human interaction, and to a certain extent, human intelligence itself. With the growing interest of the research community towards establishing some meaningful “emotional” interactions between humans and computers, the need for reliable and deployable solutions for the identification of human emotional states is required. Recent developments in using electroencephalography (EEG) for emotion recognition have garnered strong interest from the research community as the latest developments in consumer-grade wearable EEG solutions can provide a cheap, portable, and simple solution for identifying emotions. Since the last comprehensive review was conducted back from the years 2009 to 2016, this paper will update on the current progress of emotion recognition using EEG signals from 2016 to 2019. The focus on this state-of-the-art review focuses on the elements of emotion stimuli type and presentation approach, study size, EEG hardware, machine learning classifiers, and classification approach. From this state-of-the-art review, we suggest several future research opportunities including proposing a different approach in presenting the stimuli in the form of virtual reality (VR). To this end, an additional section devoted specifically to reviewing only VR studies within this research domain is presented as the motivation for this proposed new approach using VR as the stimuli presentation device. This review paper is intended to be useful for the research community working on emotion recognition using EEG signals as well as for those who are venturing into this field of research.
