This thesis explores interior immensity through the framework that targets the human being’s most inner self: the time human beings spend sleeping. The in-between state of sleep is left overlooked in architecture and leaves room for novel exploration. While spending time in a semi-conscious state, we can delve into the realms of the unknown. The primary goal is to challenge the conventional interior space of backpackers in New Zealand by inhabiting the beautiful ugliness of an industrial site. The boundary between the individual and mechanical piece of architecture is explored through a whimsical intimacy. A hydroelectric power station is the chosen apparatus. The power station allows a duality between operation and narration, between thematic qualities and program. The abnormalities hype the super-imagination of the client, somewhat like experiencing a dream state, the most active and often fantastic aspect within the threshold of consciousness. The thesis is grounded in three sections. I firstly explore the pragmatic site anomalies, the thematic qualities and their opportunities. I then move into conceptual exploration of the interior imagination while concluding with a fully functioning yet evocative design of sleep narration. The components of this thesis are largely visual.

A river flows serenely accepting all the miseries and happiness that it comes across its journey. A tree releases oxygen for human beings despite its inner plights. The sun is never tired of its duty and gives sunlight without any interruption. Why are all these elements of nature so tuned to? Education is knowledge. Knowledge comes from learning. Learning happens through experience. Familiarity is the master of life that shapes the individual. Every individual learns from nature. Nature teaches how to sustain, withdraw and advocate the prevailing situations. Some dwell into the deep realities of nature and nurture as ideal human beings. Life is a puzzle. How to solve it is a million dollar question that can never be answered so easily. The perception of life changes from individual to individual making them either physically powerful or feeble. Society is not made of only individuals. Along with individuals it has nature, emotions, spiritual powers and superstitious beliefs which bind them. Among them the most crucial and alarming is the emotions which are interrelated to others. Alone the emotional intelligence is going to guide the life of an individual. For everyone there is an inner self which makes them conscious of their deeds. The guiding force should always force the individual to choose the right path. Writers are the powerful people who have rightly guided the society through their ingenious pen outs. The present article is going to focus on how the major elements bound together are dominating the individual’s self through Rabindranath Tagore’s Home and the World (1916)

The investigated locality is the result of rise of the Danube level after dam building of the hydroelectric power station Djerdap I. The vegetation comprises aquatic associations of the classes Hydrochari-Lemnetea Oberd. 1967 and Potametea Tx. et Prsg. 1942. The class Hydrochari-Lemnetea Oberd. 1967 includes the following phytocoenoses: Lemno-Spirodeletum W. In this work, the authors present a technology for riverside terrain model building that has been tested on a number of scientific projects to study the littoral area of tail race of the Irkutsk Hydroelectric Power Station and the Bratsk Reservoir. This model is used for forecasting changes in the reservoir shorelines associated with wastewater in the cascade of hydroelectric power stations. The technology described in the work was approved to solve a number of practical problems and showed its effectiveness. Specialized application software was developed and terrain data from various sources were used to specify and detail the end result.
