This manuscript is focused on describing and analyzing certain logistics processes and activities in a chosen light manufacture, warehouse and distribution enterprise, and subsequently a proposal for implementing a suitable logistics information system for corporate management providing interconnection among all the logistics activities of such an enterprise. The first two chapters outline the basic concepts related to the issue of logistics processes, electronic information systems as well as a brief description of the analyzed enterprise. The following chapters consist of the most important parts of this research study. An advanced logistics information system is specified and thereafter implemented on the basis of a predefined set of criteria and by implementing certain opted methods included into the Operations Research, particularly the multi-criteria decision making problems. Specifically, the Scoring Method is utilized, and subsequently the results obtained are compared using the Saaty quantitative pairwise comparison method.

Abstract. Development of economic zones has been rapid in recent years and considered as one of the effective ways of promoting regional growth. Butuan City is categorized as a highly urbanized city and a regional center of Caraga which brings a huge impact to the economic growth in the region. Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Approach (MCDMA) using the pairwise comparison method of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Geographic Information System techniques were integrated to identify the suitable locations for economic zones. There were nine (9) criteria used in this study such as roads, transport hubs, commercial areas, police station, electric post, water bodies, slope, land use and labor force. Suitability map was produced and used as basis for the analysis. The result of the analysis shows that in Butuan City, an area of 32.15 sq. km is considered highly suitable, 365.96 sq. km is moderately suitable, and 248.43 sq. km is low suitable. Most of the areas are considered as moderately suitable for the establishment of economic zones. The information derived from this study would be helpful to the local government of Butuan City and other agencies in determining suitable areas for economic zones. With this information, they may be able to implement solutions in finding the best location for each ecozone which will attract investors and create employment and other opportunities in the city.

The main purpose of this paper is to provide a method of multi-criteria decision-making that combines simplified neutrosophic linguistic sets and normalized Bonferroni mean operator to address the situations where the criterion values take the form of simplified neutrosophic linguistic numbers and the criterion weights are known. Firstly, the new operations and comparison method for simplified neutrosophic linguistic numbers are defined and some linguistic scale functions are employed. Subsequently, a Bonferroni mean operator and a normalized weighted Bonferroni mean operator of simplified neutrosophic linguistic numbers are developed, in which some desirable characteristics and special cases with respect to the parameters p and q in Bonferroni mean operator are studied. Then, based on the simplified neutrosophic linguistic normalized weighted Bonferroni mean operator, a multi-criteria decision-making approach is proposed. Finally, an illustrative example is given and a comparison analysis is conducted between the proposed approach and other existing method to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the developed approach.
