The family is the basis of human development, it is the social context that provides the necessary conditions for children to acquire their autonomy at all levels; in addition to the necessary physical care to guarantee their survival. The family is the one that provides the essential affective climate so that there is a process that changes the biological being that is a baby, in a person, in a biopsychosocial being. Marriage arguments emotionally deplete parents and diminish their interest in the emotional needs of their children, who may understand it as rejection or absence of affection, very detrimental to their personal growth. Additionally, marital conflict decreases the parents ability to integrate and participate socially. The provision of affective and emotional stability that child development requires can be seriously threatened by the separation or divorce of the parents, it affects children in the form of coping they use in stressful situations, in the formation of the attachment process, the affective and emotional stability required for child development and how they respond to changes in the family.

Violence against women (VAW) continues to exist as a pervasive, structural,systematic, and institutionalized violation of women’s basic human rights (UNDivision of Advancement for Women, 2006). It cuts across the boundaries of age, race, class, education, and religion which affect women of all ages and all backgrounds in every corner of the world. Such violence is used to control and subjugate women by instilling a sense of insecurity that keeps them “bound to the home, economically exploited and socially suppressed” (Mathu, 2008, p. 65). It is estimated that one out of every five women worldwide will be abused during her lifetime with rates reaching up to 70 percent in some countries (WHO, 2005). Whether this abuse is perpetrated by the state and its agents, by family members, or even by strangers, VAW is closely related to the regulation of sexuality in a gender specific (patriarchal) manner. This regulation is, on the one hand, maintained through the implementation of strict cultural, communal, and religious norms, and on the other hand, through particular legal measures that sustain these norms. Therefore, religious institutions, the media, the family/tribe, cultural networks, and the legal system continually disciplinewomen’s sexuality and punish those women (and in some instances men) who have transgressed or allegedly contravened the social boundaries of ‘appropriateness’ as delineated by each society. Such women/men may include lesbians/gays, women who appear ‘too masculine’ or men who appear ‘too feminine,’ women who try to exercise their rights freely or men who do not assert their rights as ‘real men’ should, women/men who have been sexually assaulted or raped, and women/men who challenge male/older male authority.

The purpose of this research is to study the need for the students' communication activity component at the Pharmaceutical faculty of VSMU. Dual feature of the levels indicators dynamics in the need for communication is revealed. On the one hand, there is a tendency to reduce the average level in the need for communication and to increase its high level at the expense of girls. On the other hand, there is a fairly significant increase in the average level in the need for communication among young men against the background of an obvious predominance of the average level in the need for communication among the students of the entire sampling. The study allows us to state obvious influence of the informational educational environment at VSMU on the personal growth of students at the Pharmaceutical faculty, on the formation of their communicative competence as the most important component of the professional competence of future pharmacists. The results of the study can be used in the educational process of VSMU, in the activities of the social and pedagogical and psychological service, in the work of educators in academic groups and for tutors.

The social science and business literatures on procedural justice or fair process attest that improvements in procedural fairness can be expected to improve both a firm's performance and the commitment and trust of the individuals involved with it. This article examines the relevance of procedural justice for family business. When a family is an influential component of a particular business system, the application of justice is typically rendered more complex than might be the case for nonfamily firms. Different criteria (need, merit, and equality) guide the application of distributive justice among families, firms, and shareholders. This divergence in criterion also lies at the heart of many conflicts inside the family business. In this article, we argue that the application of procedural justice reduces occurrences of conflict and, in some cases, may eliminate conflict altogether. We propose a definition of fair process that extends and enriches the one existing in the literature. We offer five fundamental criteria essential to the effectiveness of fair process in family firms. We conclude with a series of case studies that illustrate typical questions faced inside family businesses. We show that a lack of fairness in the decision and managerial processes governing these businesses and their associated families is a source of conflict. We describe how increasing fair process practices improves the performance of these businesses while also increasing the satisfaction of those associated with them.

Abstract.STRATEGIES FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN COUPLES: EVERYDAY NEGOTIATINGConflicts are normal situations in family life wich offer opportunities for personal growth and strengthening family relationships when constructive strategies are provided like negotiation, commitments and agreements. The frequent use of destructive strategies in everyday conflicts is associated with a growing unease in the family and a discontinuity in the family project. Couples show difficulties to implement courses of action culminating in agreements and commitments. This is a logical issue considering that the conflicts and the resolution strategies are complex situations. This work provides an analysis of daily conflict in couples contemplating conflict variables that mediate the use of resolution strategies and transactional processes that characterize these episodes. Finally, some guidelines are suggested to direct research and intervention in the field of conflict and family life.Keywords: Marital Conflict; Conflict Resolution Strategies; Negotiation; Situational Variables; Emotional Variables; Cognitive Variables.Resumen.Los conflictos son situaciones normales en la vida familiar. Suponen oportunidades para el crecimiento personal y el fortalecimiento de las relaciones familiares, siempre que se aborden con estrategias constructivas en las que prime la negociación, los compromisos y los acuerdos. El empleo frecuente de estrategias destructivas en los conflictos cotidianos se asocia a un creciente malestar en la familia poniendo en peligro la continuidad del proyecto familiar. Las parejas muestran dificultades para poner en marcha cursos de acción que culminen en acuerdos y compromisos. Lo que resulta comprensible si consideramos que los conflictos y las estrategias de resolución son situaciones complejas. Este trabajo ofrece un análisis del conflicto cotidiano en la pareja los conflictos contemplando las variables que mediatizan el uso de las estrategias de resolución y los procesos transaccionales que caracterizan estos episodios. The document develops an analysis of the family situation faced during the last decades in Mexico, particularly in the social transformation and their connection with the heterogeneity of the family groups, based on a series of analytical categories focused on family strategies that point out their daily life, taking up the proposal of Mallardi (2018) around: a) strategies aimed at obtaining subsistence resources, b) strategies linked to the specialized care, c) room strategies linked to the conditions life, d) strategies associated with health-disease processes and e) strategies for socialization, learning and use of free time. These strategies are approached as categories of analysis, for which their operationalization is carried out based on the review and reflection regarding some of the main changes observed during the last decades in Mexico; as well as the way in which these transformations are traversed by a series of social determinants, particularly those of gender and class, as well as their relationship with social policies directed at family groups. The analysis presented, without being exhaustive, shows the way in which the indicated elements and their linkage come to impact the daily life of families during the last decades. In this way, the daily life of family groups shows a series of tensions, ambivalences and contradictions derived to a large extent from the present relationship between the pressures exerted, on the one hand, from the social policy itself implemented and with it the demands and mandates generated from their socio-historical, economic and political context. On the other hand, the growing material and subjective needs of its members, which demand immediate responses that provide the minimum possibilities for the survival of the family group. El documento desarrolla un análisis de la situación familiar enfrentada durante las últimas décadas en México, en particular de las transformaciones sociales y su vínculo con la heterogeneidad de los grupos familiares, a partir de una serie de categorías analíticas centradas en las estrategias familiares que dan cuenta de la vida cotidiana, retomando para ello la propuesta de Mallardi (2018) en torno a: a) estrategias destinadas a la obtención de los recursos de subsistencia, b) estrategias vinculadas a la organización del cuidado, c) estrategias habitacionales vinculadas a las condiciones de vida, d) estrategias asociadas a los procesos de salud-enfermedad y e) estrategias de socialización, aprendizaje y uso del tiempo libre. Dichas estrategias son abordadas como categorías de análisis, por lo cual su operacionalización es realizada partiendo de la revisión y reflexión respecto a algunos de los principales cambios observados durante las últimas décadas en México; asimismo, se analiza la manera en que esas transformaciones se encuentran atravesadas por una serie de determinantes sociales, particularmente las de género y clase. Otro aspecto que se analiza es la relación de las transformaciones familiares observadas con las políticas sociales dirigidas a los grupos familiares. El análisis presentado, sin ser exhaustivo, muestra la manera en que los elementos señalados y su vinculación llegan a impactar la vida cotidiana de las familias durante las últimas décadas. De esa manera, la vida cotidiana de los grupos familiares muestra una serie de tensiones, ambivalencias y contradicciones derivadas en gran parte de la relación presente entre las presiones ejercidas, por un lado, desde la propia política social implementada y con ello las demandas y mandatos generados desde su contexto sociohistórico, económico y político. Así como, por otro lado, las crecientes necesidades materiales y subjetivas de sus miembros, las cuales exigen respuestas inmediatas que brinden las posibilidades mínimas para la sobrevivencia del grupo familiar.

AbstractWelfare institutions have long been set up in most European countries in ways oriented towards the family as the one basic principle. Reforms in recent times however have fundamentally changed the conception of the social citizen. Yet social rights are still mainly conceptualised in the literature in terms of employee rights, and family elements are often interpreted as a kind of vestige of the traditional welfare-state policies of industrial societies.In this paper we develop a formula for making the weight of the family in social security visible and comparing it through the evaluation of cross-country levels of institutional individualisation. We deliver original theoretical, conceptual and empirical insights into the welfare-institutional order with the aim of furthering the understanding of the current social constitution of European societies. The findings show that there is considerable variation in the degree to which welfare institutions treat the social citizen as an individual and that the results do not correspond to common welfare categorisations.

The Family is as a basic unit of society. According to August Comte family is a primary unit of the society. It a has link between individual and community. It is made up with parents and their children, who come from the same ancestor and living together in the same household. Family disorganization means breaking family relations, family crisis, bracken of marriage relationships, family dissolution, marital maladjustment, dissertation, separation, divorce etc,. It is called the conflict in marriage between family members. It is global problem. Marital conflict is inevitable and become part and parcel of life today but should handle carefully. Many disorganized people do not have the social stigma. The main reason for this is lack of adoption and understanding between couples. It effects on families parents, dependents and children. Some children from disorganized homes grow up to become social misfits and later graduate into delinquents and criminals. They may be maladjusted with people. According to Tim and Joy Downs in their book, The Seven Conflicts, couples who never learn how to effectively manage their conflicts begin a series of stages in their relationship that can ultimately destroy it.

This article looks at the interaction between transnational family relationships, on the one hand, and family-related immigration policies, on the other. Taking the conflicting concerns that arose between administrative decision-makers and family members during an attempt to reunite a Cape Verdean family spread across several countries as an example, the questions of what ‘family’ means, what relationships are included and the nature of the relationships involved answered differently by different actors will be shown. The article discusses the way in which the regulation of transnational mobility according to specific categories of eligibility is giving social ties a concrete legal form which can run contrary to the social conventions and conceptions of migrants and their families. The focus is on both the normative categories that have repercussions for the core of the social sphere and on the family practices that react to these categorizations.

Within research on the political influence that social network members exert on one another, some studies rely on information obtained directly from different members in the network separately (self-reported measures), while others rely on information obtained from one key informant within the social network (measures based on perception). We investigate the difference between these self-reported and perceived measures by analyzing the correspondence of voting intentions within the family. On the one hand, we examine this correspondence using information obtained from only one family member. On the other hand, we use the self-reported measures obtained from all family members separately. We use data from the Parent-Child Socialization Study (PCSS), a survey conducted among 2,085 mothers, fathers and children in the Flemish region of Belgium (2012). Our analyses suggest that using perceptual measures could lead researchers to different or even opposite conclusions than using self-reported measures from all individual respondents.

The ongoing social change places the issue of training at the centre of development, which is a decisive factor in global competition. The debate concerning school-work, which is at the basis of the teachers’ professional development process in the third millennium, must include the construction of an adequate relational system together with the students as well as a strong ability in communication. The value of relationships in the educational field does not only concern the student-teacher relationship, but also the one with colleagues, parents and the entire school community, therefore defined as the “educating community”. In this kind of community, the relationships between the school and the family, the school, the “world of work”, and other educational agencies therefore create a network of individuals, who share the responsibility for the growth of young people, with a view to inclusion and compliance with the rights of equality and dignity. They also aim at reducing the causes of poverty and the social gap to prevent abandonment and early school leaving, and to ensure the right to education and educational success to every student.
